7/29/16...Went to VA in Detroit for checkup on Bill's knee, then to Great Lakes Crossing to shop

It worked really great

We packed some more stuff in the camper, I patched a hail hole with tear aid in the awning.  Then we  put the awning down.  Left for Bill's appt. in Detroit.  We stopped at Tim Horton's and Bill got a coffee, cinnamon bagel, and banana nut muffin and I got an ice capp and a apple cranberry muffin.  I hooked my phone up in the car and we listened to the worship music I downloaded.  Nice day for a ride.  Bill's appointment went well and then we left and went to Great Lake's Crossing and shopped and got steps.  We relaxed and took our time and and such a nice time.  We resisted cinnabuns today as we knew we were going to stop at the Cracker Barrell and eat on our way home.

YAY, Kimmy called so we got to talk to her and the boys and Bill talked to Jared.  We were so happy to hear from them.  Missing them all so much.  Nice hearing the boy's voices and hearing how much fun they are having.  It made my day! Bill got to tell Kimmy and Jared about replacing the pump, pipe and cord in their well and that they have water again out by the barn.  Loved hearing how excited they were because we were so excited about it ourselves.  They were at the Jam Pot.  So glad we went there so I can picture all these places when they say where they are.  We were walking in the mall when they called, but I had Bill put my phone on speaker so I could hear Kimmy when he told her about the well.  Bill had ground steak at the Cracker Barrel and I had grilled chicken tenders.  We both had a rootbeer.  Stopped at Penney's when we got back.  Then came home and tried the watermelon cutter Bill got me.  It makes it so easy.  Love using it.  Also got a salad spinner which was on sale so I can spin the water off my lettuce from my garden after I wash it.  That worked great too.  Bill got a couple of shirts and a new pair of dress shoes too.  His other shoes just cracked.  He has had them since 1998.  I guess it is about time for a new pair. They were on sale so that was good. I got a couple of short sleeve shirts too that were on sale.  Put the cabbage buns in the camper refrigerator and also put the blueberry pie I made out there.  We will be eating them with Melissa, Bruce and family at BayShore tomorrow night.

7/28/16....Bill met the well guy at Kimmy and Jared's and he put a new pump in, new pipes and a new cord. THEY NOW HAVE WATER FROM THE WELL. So Happy! Thanking the Lord!

We got our Clam Screen Tent today.  It had a couple of nylon threads hanging so took this pic. to send the company to see if it ok to cut them or what I need to do.

Absolutely love this Clam Screen Tent.  It took us a minute to set it up.  It is soooooo easy.

Vikki picked up Mocha to watch while we go to Detroit and to BayShore.  She stopped at the dog park on her way home and Mocha loved it.  Peyton is watching Mocha run

Bill went to meet the well guy at Kimmy and Jared's today.  We wanted to surprise them and have their well working when they get home from Copper Harbor.  We prayed before he left that it would only be the pump.  Bill had to take the fence down for the guy to work on it.  He pulled the pump up and replaced it, replaced the cord, and a bad pipe and it is working great now.  So excited for them to have water out there, especially for winter.  Tried to get a hold of Kimmy to let her know her bedroom window is open, but no signal there.  Made Cabbage buns and brownies.  Washed all the bedding and made the beds in the camper.  Washed the rugs too. Hung everything out on the line to dry.  We got our Clam Screen Tent.  It is so cool.  It even has sides to pull down incase of rain.  Vikki came just in time to help set it up.  We watched a video.  Then we watched a video of how to take it down. It's so easy, I could do it myself.  The kids had fun playing on the trampoline.  Bill and I went to Party on McCarty.  We put our CMA shirts on to walk around in.  Walked around and then I had a ruben sandwich and Bill had a hot dog and two tacos.  We ate under the tent in the shade.  Came home and washed the camper and the awning.  Then came in and made a blueberry pie to take camping.   

7/27/16....worked on packing the camper and weeding the garden

Beautiful morning.  Seemed nice to look out and see the net around the trampoline.  Just has to be laced and tied at the bottom now.

The garden is doing great this year.  Corn is taller than me.

We had heavy rain and some wind.  A few pieces of corn blew over on the end.  Also the green peppers were all blown over.  I had to go in the muddy garden and stand them back up and pack the dirt around them to keep them up.

Got the camper cleaned and packed some stuff.  Weeded the garden and Bill tilled around the edges. Went to Vikki's and ate lunch.  Lenny sure was happy to see me.  He was even licking my hand he was so excited.  Poor doggie can't go outside for 9 more days.  He has got cabin fever for sure.  Walked the kids down to Rody's moms and she watched them while we went to Jack's and Aldi's.  Picked them up and they helped Vikki carry groceries in.  I left and came home and put my groceries away.  Typed the Newsletter for Faith Riders.  

7/26/16.....went to breakfast, stopped at Melissa's, Kenzie came over

Went to breakfast and then stopped at Melissa's after.  The boys came running for hugs which made me so happy!  I went to pay our insurance after that and then went back to Sullivan's and got Bill. He stayed to visit with Charlie and Kenny.  Then we went and got absentee ballots because we will be at BayShore.  Cleaned part of the house.  Kenzie came over for a while. Cage brought me 4 beautiful ceramic things with colorful bottoms.  So sweet of her. Thank you Kenzie! XOXO.  She also gave me three packs of 3 d butterfly stickers for Aunt Vikki.  They are beautiful and Aunt Vikki will be so happy.  Went to the movie and watched Hillary in America.  Lots of history I am going to be looking up. Came home and hoed the garden.  Bill tilled the edges of it.  Looks so nice.  Everything is growing great.  Picked my first tomato today.

7/25/16...picked blueberries today on Ederer Rd. They were so nice,huge and tasted yummy

Bill found this for when we go camping so we don't need to buy water bottles or keep water in frig 

Decided to go early to pick berries so it wouldn't be too hot!  Had to go by my lonesome self.   Only had to pick on a few bushes because they were loaded. I picked almost two big buckets full!  Yum!  The guy there was so nice!

Went to Caella's and then to Menard's.  Picked up a smal water cooler.  Froze blueberries and put them in freezer bags.

7/24/16....Taught Sunday School. Had Peyton, Isaac and Evan in my class for the first time. Wish I would have taken a picture

So happy to have this picture to put on here.  Missing these boys in Copper Harbor.  Love their smiles and this picture with their grandma and grandpa!  They are starting to make grandma and grandpa look short.

After Church Visit at Isaac's church we went to G's Pizzeria

I was so happy to have Evan, Peyton and Isaac in my Sunday School class for the first time.  They were so good.  All the kids were!  Had 9 kids today.  We had our lesson and then made frames to put their memory verse in.  They did so good at gluing the foam pieces on their frames with a paint brush.  They listened to directions really well.  I had Caleb for a helper and he was amazing. 

Came home and started baking Salmon and Potatoes for dinner.  Bill called and wanted me to meet him at G's with those that went on the church visit to Isaac's church.  Had a great time.  Went for a ride by all of our old houses.  Enjoyed that! Also went to the park to do some walking.
