9/5/16..last day at BayShore. Time to clean up

Love this cute picture of the kids at the park.  Took it from Vikki's blog

Bill and Elaine picking up the trash.  This camp worker came riding his bike and telling us we had picked up his trash and the other worker's and that they were there till tomorrow and some Wed. so they needed their trash.  He took bags to put in the trash cans we had turned upside down.  I guess we are a little too thorough

These four were from the group that volunteered to help us pick garbage up.  So thankful for them.

We left the campground and stopped in Sebewaing for lunch.  Dad got in the truck to park the camper and didn't take his helmet off.  Though it was kind of funny so took a picture.

Got up and packed up some in the camper.  Went to the morning service.  Came back and packed up the rest of the camper while Bill packed up the outside.  We took the canopy down together.  Elaine and I went to vacuum the hospitality area in the youth center.  We got done and Wes and Gayla had left.  She had called me but I missed her call.  Bill had dumped the camper while we were vacuuming which was great.  We all got on the golf cart and picked up trash and pop cans.  Another group came to help us which was so appreciated.  It went a lot faster with them helping.  We finished and then left.  Bill went up a hill part way with the camper.  I didn't want him too.  He just pulled the camper up it and then took the boards that level it out.  Well when I looked in the camper, the cake I had backed fell out of the over and slid over to in front of the bunk house.  It stayed right side up and neat as can be on the floor.  The aluminum foil had come off.  There was a lot of stuff out of the cupboards on the floor and stuff off the closet shelf in the bedroom.  Stuff in cupboards was tipped over.  Thankfully the refrigerator stuff was good.  Glad I pout rods across the glass dish cupboards and refreg.  I knew he shouldn't have gone up that hill.  Poor Judy,  I saw her hubby do the same thing except he went entirely over the hill.  We got home and Kenzie came over.  I had a talk with her.  Bruce and Melissa called and wanted us to come eat with them and have cake for Bruce's birthday.  We had such a nice time and the food and cake were delicious.  So nice of them to have us over.  They had the Karl's family over in the day time which was so nice as they are a wonderful family.

9/4-16...Fun talent show tonight. Elaine sang a beautiful patrioticmedley

We had a fun day.  Went to the worship service and church service.  Wes, Gayla, Lupe and Matt, Elaine, and Brian went on a ride to Port Austin.  Bill and I had to go to a president's meeting for CMA, so we couldn't go.  We got done at the meeting and Sabrina, Bill, Isaac and Yolanda got here.  We sat visiting and then went golfing when it opened.  We all had so much fun.  Yolanda was so funny...not a serious golfer for sure..just lots of fun.  She was hitting her ball quickly as many times as it took to get in on some holes.  We did lots of laughing.  Bill won.  Isaac, Bill and I tied for second.  For some reason I was doing pretty good for a change.  Even got a hole in one on the Daniel and the Lion's den hole.  Couldn't believe it.  We finished and those that took the ride got back at the same time.  Elaine's parents came and we all had a potluck.  Andrea and her family came too before they had to go be pool guards.  We prayed over her for her broken ankle.   Our potluck was nice.  We had lots of good food.  Afterward, we went to the talent show in the tabernacle.  Much amazing talent!  Great voices and funny skits.  One guy played "It is well with my soul" on a saw and it was amazing.  Elaine sang a Patriotic Medley and it was so good.  Everyone stood for the whole thing.  So touching.  We all played cards in the hospitality room after church.  Elaine spent the night in our camper because this weird guy seemed to be following her all weekend.  Bill went out and talked to him as he was hanging around our camper for 15 min. after she came in our camper which was weird.  She doesn't even know him.  Bill also went and talked to the group he is with.  We heard a motorcycle leave shortly after that.  Didn't see him all day so It must have been him leaving.  All week Elaine would come in from the motorcycle camper and we would do devotions together.  She practiced some of her songs too.  This was her first time there.  Her hubby didn't come, but she is hoping next year he does.

9/3/16....Saying Goodbye to Roger and Rayleen's

Bill and Wes with their clipboards of everyone camping and what site number they are on.  They are an amazing team

Last day for the Wilsons to be our Evangelists

Wilson's going away party

I volunteered at putt putt to hand out clubs, balls and score cards.  These animals from Noah's ark were keeping me company.
Marsha and her sweet granddaughter came by to play
So did Wes and Bill...and here they are

Elaine came in the camper and read me a devotion while I fixed my breakfast.  She didn't eat and neither did Bill.  We went to the tabernacle and the new Evangelists, Jay And Jane were introduced by Roger and Rayleen.
Bill was on the golf cart helping people and came to give me a ride.  There were 17 of us Faith Riders here and two more are. Coming tomorrow.  Great turnout and great fun.  They were having lunch under a big tent so we took our meal tickets there and ate free.  I had a grilled chicken sandwich meal and Bill had a hamburger.  We went to the going away party, but I could only stay 1/2 Hr because I had to work at the golf stand.
Had lots of people come and they didn't have many golf balls, so I had to keep emptying the bucket of balls in the last hole.  After golf was finished, I went to sit with Bill and watch Bike games. Wes and Gayla won the road kill game.  She got eight critters in her net.  The new Evangelists got water ballooned (tradition)
And came and said the were going to sit in the crow on the bleachers so they wouldn't get wet again.  I told them to go sit on the far end, but Jane sat right next to me and Jay sat right behind me.  You knowhowBill can't resist getting people wet.  He dumped a part of water bottle on Jay.  I had almost a full water bottle, so a little later Jay dumped half of it on Bill's back.  Bill jumped up really wet and surprised. He sat down and Jay dumped the other half on him.  We laughed so hard since Bill was reaping what he sows.  They were so much fun and so nice to talk to.  The bike games were going and a little girl around 10 hurt her knee bad when her dad's bike fell over with her on it.  Everyone prayed for her and helped her immediately. An ambulance came and took her to a hospital in Pigeon.  We found out later
She didn't break anything or tear any muscles.  Praise God!  At 5 we went to a potluck Trinity Riders were having.  Lots of old friends were there and lots of good food.  Bill instigated again and dumped ice on Marsha.  She ended up dumping water on him and soaking him.  He didn't learn from the first episode.

Got up early.  Elaine was cold and having back pain so she came in the camper and ate oatmeal and drank coffee with me.  Bill was on his cart helping people.  At 9 we went over and helped put shirts, mugs, youth stuff eye on the tables for people to buy.   After that, Gayla and Elaine went into town.  I decided to stay here and go for a walk.  I went two miles.  Came back and walked around with Gayla and visited friends.  Bill took us for a ride all over on the golf cart.  Even went back under the zip line.  Ate hotdogs for lunch at Wes and Gayla's table.  Our awning won't go down.  They are fixing it when we take our camper in.  A pin is sheared.  Gayla and I wee reading our books in our compfy chairs an we both fell asleep.  She woke me so I wouldn't get sunburned.  I walked down to talk to Brenda.  The first thing she did was ask about Peyton and Isaac and told me she misses those cuties.  We ate dinner in the dining hall and then went to the tabernacle for worship and the message. After that we went for ice cream to the Dairy Barn.  Came back and watched the news and then went to bed.

9/1/16...Left for BayShore....one of my favorite places

Elaine in front of the camper tent Wes and Gayla lent her.
We didn't quite fit inside the barrels in the barrel train.  Found out later the other train is bigger and we would have fit.

Bill, Gayla and Wes relaxing before all the campers come and they get busy showing them where to park

Gayla and Elaine  The flowers hanging were beautiful

Wes and Gayla and our campers are facing each other. Elaine is on the end and Brian and Jan will be in our motorcycle camper by the end of our camper tomorrow.

Bill and Wes in their staff shirts

Cute little doggie that came by

Love this place

The sunset was beautiful over the water, but the picture of it didn't turn out very good

Bill and Wes checking their list of people who will be camping.  They have their staff shirts on.  They gave us free camping and meal tickets for free meals while we are here.
I got up at 7:15 to finish packing the camper.  I had just taken my shower when I got a call from Melissa saying the 3 boys had forgot their book bags.  She had to wait for the little girl she babysits for to be dropped off at the school so she was very happy I could go pick up the book bags and bring them to her to take into the kids.  I was happy I could help.  I went with wet hair and all.  I made it in time so she could get them to them right after the pledge of allegiance.  After that I went home and there was no hot water.  Bill needed me to help him with lighting the pilot light on the hot water heater.  Consumer's put a new gas meter in and when Kenzie was there she let them light the pilots again.  We had gotten a letter saying they were going to do this.  Don't know if they forgot to light it or if it went out.  Finally got around to packing the rest of the stuff and got done on time.  Elaine came over and we left for Sebewaing.  This truck pulls the camper so much better than the other one.  Doesn't even feel like it's hauling a camper.  Very nice.  I was thanking God all the way when He kept cars from getting off and on exits by me on the expressway and for the safe trip all the way.  So happy when we stopped at Tim Horton's in Bay City which is our tradition.  It's about halfway and is a great place to take a little break.  Had a egg white sandwich with bacon and no cheese an a chocolate glazed doughnut.  YUM.  Got to BayShore and parked right across where you pull in.  We faced our camper toward Wes and Gayla's which is nice.  Love camping with them.  We have Elaine with us in their motorcycle camper and Brian an Jan will be by us in our motorcycle camper.  We ladies took a few walks while the guys helped people get parked.  Visited with friends from Trinity Riders, and played ladder ball.  Wes and Gayla had us over for blackberry pie she made for Bill's Birthday. It was delicious.  We played 3-13 with them and Elaine in their camper.  Bill won and Elaine lost.  I was the next loser.  Not my night.

8/31/16....Packed to go camping at BayShore for our State Rally....

Isaac was happy to show me what he made with his legos

Peyton was pretty excited about the unders I brought her.  They used to be Kenzie's.  She is wearing them on her shoulders and holding them in her hands

She was funny trying to put them all on so I took a picture.  Reminds me of when her Aunt Missy did that when she was little.

Did laundry and packed for camping.  Went to Melissa's and to Vikki's for a little while.  It was quiet at Melissa's with no kids there.  Sure seems different.  Peyton and Isaac were excited to see me and were really cute.  In the evening, we went to G's for our officer's meeting for Faith Riders.
We had good pizza and Bill did a really good job leading the meeting.  We went to Meijer's afterwards to get Thermos water jugs for Roger and Rayleen for the Rally.  They are not going to be our National Evangelists any longer, but are taking a new position.  They are so nice and have done a great job.  Also picked up some groceries for our camping trip.  Kenzie moved in with a friend.
