6/19/17...Sunny morning...Went for a walk, went swimming, Bill took Max home and stopped in Bay City to take him on the ship there, Kimmy and Eli came up

It was such a nice morning.  I made pancakes.  Adam was such a great helper and took Papa his pancakes whenever he want some.  He was out in the Clam.  Sure helped me out a lot.  Max and he went fishing after breakfast.  We went for a walk after we were done eating.  We were getting ready to swim and Kimmy and Eli got here.  We went swimming.  Kimmy played Marco Polo with Max and Adam.  Max was it for a very long time, but never gave up.  Kimmy was all over the pool and sure got a work out.  The hot tub is getting fixed today.  It doesn't get very warm even.  Kimmy brought a small bike for Peyton to learn on.  Kimmy worked with Peyton and it wasn't long before Peyton was riding without training wheels too.  Kimmy sure got her exercise today.  Isaac learned how to ride his big bike today without training wheels.  We figured it would be to big for him, but he did great.  We went for a walk while they rode their bikes and they did so good.  Peyton needs help most of the time starting out, but did it a few times on her own so it won't take her long to pick it up.
Bill and Max left for home.  We had lunch and it started raining.  After the rain, we went for another walk while the kids rode their bikes.  They loved going through all of the puddles.  Isaac would just laugh with delight after riding through it.  So much fun watching them have such a great time together.  Kimmy, Adam and Eli had to leave after that because Vacation Bible School starts tonight.
I made chicken hobo dinners and Vikki started the grill.  Propane ran out.  No propane for the camper either.  I had asked Bill to get it last  time we were here and he said he would get it back home where it's cheaper.  Never got it.  I called him and he told me I could just go across the street to the camp store and get a small one.  Store was closed.  I ended up putting the foil dinners in my huge electric frying pan I got at the garage sale and they cooked perfect.  Smelled so good while cooking in the camper.  Sent a picture to Bill and he said he wanted some ha ha.  We went and checked the indoor pool and they are coming along nicely on fixing it.  Can't wait till it's done.  I listened to Peyton read and Dick and Jane book and Vikki listened to Isaac.  They are doing great with their reading.  We played games and then went to bed.

6/18/17...Father's Day!!! Went to church, taught Sunday School, Came back up north, All the family came up except Jacob who was at Band Camp and Kenzie. Kenzie wanted to come but we were already at the campground when she asked to come and she didn't have a way.

Happy Father's Day to Bill.  He is such a good father and grandfather!  He is a great example of a godly man to them and shows them so much love.  We are very blessed to have him in our lives.  We are also very blessed to have three son in laws who are great dad's to our grandkids and are teaching them to love the Lord and are raising them so well and showing them what love is.

I had 8 kids in Sunday School today.  We interviewed them and filled out papers with their answers.  Such cute answers.  After church, we came back up north.  I forgot my phone and was in a traffic jam.  I thought Bill and Max were ahead of me, but I went by an unauthorized turn thing and thought about going across, but then decided not to.  I looked in my rear view mirror while I was sitting in traffic and 4 cars behind me was Bill in the truck.  He went across the expressway.  I was thinking I should have done that as I sat there longer.    I prayed that traffic would start moving again.  It started moving and I ended up beating Bill and Max and got to the campground first.  Kimmy and her family and Vikki and her family were there.   Melissa and her family got there shortly after and they had Ally and Daniel with them.  We swam, went for a walk and visited.  The kids went to the store and some went golfing.  Isaac didn't swim because he wanted to learn to ride his bike.  Rody kept helping him and before long he was riding really good.  We cooked on Bill's new grill  he got for Father's Day from all of us.  We had lots of good food and such fun time with family.  I love my family.  My heart is full of love for all of them.

6/14/17...Took Iain to school, Jacob, Adam and Meredith and I went to Kroger's and then stopped at Tim Horton's for Donuts and chocolate milk before taking Meredith to school. Kimmy and Eli came over. Vikki called and found a shampooer like mine that broke. She picked Kenzie up and then dropped it off. Kimmy worked on it and cleaned it up and it looks great and works great. Kimmy gave Mocha a haircut. Melissa had Meredith and Iain at her house while Bill and I went to Sullivan's to meet with the elders and their wives from church. Melissa even fed them for me. I sure have sweet kind daughters that I thank God for.

Adam woke up early and came in the living room with me and laid on the couch.  He's an early bird.  I woke up Meredith and Iain and they got ready for school.  Jacob got up and we took the kids to school.  We stopped at Tim Horton's after we dropped Iain off because we had an hour before we had to drop off Meredith.  We had donuts and chocolate milk, (Jacob only wanted water)   We dropped Meredith off and then went to Melissa's for a few minutes.  Jack and Jacob played chess.  We got home and Kimmy came.  Vikki and Kenzie stopped over to because they were going to the kids school for lunch.  Kimmy and I visited and then I went to Iain's 2nd grade assembly.  He didn't know I was coming and when he saw me he was so happy he just kept waving at me.  He ended up sitting right next to me on the floor.  Then his class had to move for another class to fit and Kyra from my Sunday School class sat right next to me.  I got some good pictures.  I was so glad I went to this.  I just found out about it in the morning.  Vikki, Kenzie, Peyton and Isaac came back to visit with Kimmy while I was at the assembly.  Melissa, Jack and Evan came over too.  Evan went home with Kimmy and Jack was kind of sad that Eli didn't feel good and couldn't stay at his house.  He cheered up when he found out Iain was going to come to his house that night.  Iain and him were in my Sunday School class together.  In the evening, Bill and I went to Sullivan's for dinner and to meet with the other Elder's and their wives.  We had a nice time and good discussion.  Melissa was a sweetie and watched Meredith and Iain for me.  She even fed them spaghetti so I didn't have to cook. The kids had so much fun there and even were able to go to the park by Melissa's.  What wonderful daughters I have.  They bless me in so many ways.

Bill was telling Iain that he liked his aunt, uncle and cousins better than us because they are going to their house next.  Iain said, no actually we see you guys more and you are like grandma and papa to us.  Said he had wanted to tell us that last night but didn't.  What a sweet little 8 year old.  His grandma died recently so I know he is missing her.

6/13/17...Picked up Hailey and spent the day together. Went to Sam's Club, Gordmans, and Walmart. Had lunch at Taco Bell. Meredith and Iain came to spend today through Thursday at 6 pm with us. Hailey and Meredith had fun together. Took Hailey, Meredith, Jacob and Adam to the Goodrich Theatre to watch the K Love Fan Awards. Took Hailey home and the rest of the kids spent the night.

So blessed to have grandchildren who love the Lord and love worshipping Him.  This was taken when we dropped Hailey off at her house 

I picked up Hailey in the morning and we went to Gordmans and found a pair of shorts she liked.  After that we went to Sam's Club and got Shick Intuition Shavers.  Saw Denise Nelson there who just got back from Colorado.  We went to Walmart and took pop cans back there.  Got $10 worth of cans.  So nice of Hailey to help. Hailey wanted to go with me to the K-Love Fan Awards so I called to see Jacob wanted to go too.  He did and so did Adam.  I was watching Meredith still so she wanted to go too.  We got to the theatre at 6:30.  I got them each popcorn, a drink, and a fruit snack.  They were such a joy to take and so much fun.  We loved watching the singing groups.  Afterwards I dropped off Meredith at my house because she had school the next morning.  The boys and I took Hailey home and then we came home.  Jacob and Adam spent the night.  Jacob wanted to sleep on the couch and Adam slept on the inflatable mattress on the floor.
