7/7/18...Faith Riders were in the Shield's Parade, Picked up Melissa, Hailey and Max and went to the campground. Everyone came up for the fireworks.

We went to breakfast at the Eagles Club at 8.  After we ate, I was going to go next door and get a 50th anniversary card and a graduation card.  When I said I was going, Sabrina said she would come with me because she needed to get a graduation card.  Well we walked over to the Dollar Store and it wasn't open yet.  We had 10 minutes.  We went back to the Eagles Club and waited til 9.  We headed back over there and crossed a weedy area with some grass and trees and all of a sudden the sprinkling system came on.  We put our hands up and did some screaming and ran to get out of the water.  We had a good laugh over that one.  We got out cards.  When we got back it was time to head over to get in line for the parade.  The parade was fun and we passed out lots of candy.  The fireman on the firetruck ahead of us were squirting people and then throwing lots of candy.  It was so fun seeing all the happy faces.  It was hot so most people wanted to get sprayed.  A few covered their faces though. After the parade, I went to pick up Melissa, Hailey and Max.  Bruce took Max for his appointment in Cass City and Jack was already up at the campground with Vikki.  We stopped at my house to pick up the things I was taking back to the campground.  Hailey decided to ride with Papa on the motorcycle. We followed them.  When we got there, we unpacked and then went and saw Vikki and Misty at the craft show.  Kenzie and Travis got there around the same time.  At around 3, Kimmy and her family came and then Bruce got there with Max around 5:30.  We ate when he got there, then went for a swim, then the kids got lots of candy from the golf cart parade and then we went to the fireworks.  We had lots of fun and it was so nice that we were all together.  Very relaxing watching the fireworks there, avoiding all the huge crowds we used to have to be in.  So much fun.  I love my family!

7/6/18..Kimmy and the boys came up. Eli spent the night. I had to leave for home because we had to be at breakfast with Faith Riders in the morning and be in the parade..

Melissa got her braces.  So happy she will be able to walk better and work on walking more in therapy.  What a sweetie she is! Love those pink socks!

 Vikki and I were working on making bracelets when Kimmy and the boys got here.   Vikki taught Kimmy how to make them so she could help.  Eli, Jack, and Peyton played with legos.  We went for a walk around the campground and Adam walked with us.  Had lunch when we got back and then went swimming.  We helped Vikki put her bracelets on foam noodles for their sale tomorrow.  Jacob was sure a big help with that.  Eli is stayed to spend the night and Isaac went home with Kimmy.   Vikki taught Peyton how to play tonk and the kids had so much fun. Eli was funny and was saying what I always say, "Pat hand, winning hand."  Vikki took a video, but I can't post videos on here for some reason.  He sure was cute and funny though.  

7/5/18...Played candy bar bingo, swam, walked the campground a couple time. The kids rode their bikes.

7/8/18...Went to Becky and Dave's 50th wedding anniversary party in Petosky.

Bill and I left the campground and headed for Petosky.  We went early so we could stop at the hospital in Petosky to visit our friend Jeff Eagle.  He was on vacation and ended up in the hospital because he thought he might have an infection.  He was so surprised to see us.  I talked to his wife and she was heading home so we didn't get to see her.  They are the ones that lent us their condo in Florida when we went. We prayed for him and then left to go see Wes and Gayla at the campground where the party was.   Jeff got out of the hospital a couple of days later.  We visited with Wes and Gayla for a while and then drove to the hall  We had a great time.  The food was delicious.  We left around 6 as Bill had to get back to Standish and drive the motorcycle home because the workers are starting our bathroom tomorrow and he needs to be there to let them in.  I was happy when he let me know he was there safe.  Vikki, Peyton and I played tonk.  Peyton is really good at it and has all the facial expressions down to a T.  What a cutie.

7/4/18...More fun at the campground

I made pancakes for breakfast.  The kids were happy about that.  It was another warm day.  We went swimming and had lots of fun in the pool.  Bill is so cute with the kids in the water and has so much fun with them.  Love watching them play together.  I took Jack golfing, then Isaac wanted to join us, and then Peyton.  I took Jack's picture when we started and then forgot to get my camera out again.  Rody came up and we all went for ice-cream at the pavilion.  I came back and made dinner while they went to the beach.  In the evening, we had s'mores.

7/3/18 Kimmy and the boys came up for the day. We had fun in the pool land at the beach. It was super warm so felt good to be in the water

Kimmy and the boys came to the campground to spend the day with us.  Jack was happy they were coming.  Isaac and I went to the store so they were there when we got back.  .   We went swimming and then came back and had lunch.  Vikki worked on making her bracelets.  The kids played with legos in the screen tent.  Kimmy, Isaac and I went for a quick dip in the pool and then Kimmy and I took a walk around the campground.  We hung around at the site for awhile and then went for a swim at the lake.  The water was warm.  Around 6:30 Kimmy and the boys headed home.  What a fun day with them.
