Hailey and Jack spent the night because Melissa was admitted to a hospital room and out of the observation room.  We are thanking God that she is getting the treatment and help she needs, so she can get better and not weaker.  She has got great doctors.  Bill took Jack to the Marine Corp. Breakfast with him at I Hop.  Hailey and I got to Rock the Island at 10:30.  We parked on the island, but had to park far away.  We made 3 trips hauling the cooler, chairs, storage containers with   stuff for our booth.  We had to go by a lady 3 times and she always commented on all we were carrying and how many trips.  Hailey was a great help.  Bill got there shortly after with the canopy. Elaine and Luis were already there.  We set the canopy and table up.  Walked around with Jack and watched him climb the wall and do archery.  Vikki and said we should have the Clam and that she would bring it to us.  So sweet of her. She went and got it out of our fifth wheel and brought it.  We just got it set up and got inside and the downpour came.  We sure were thankful to have a place to keep dry.  It didn't rain for long and was cloudy but nice most of the day. A few sprinkles now and then but not bad.  We had so many opportunities to pray with people it was amazing. We were so blessed and happy.  Met a nice kid who was a twin and goes to Hopevale.  He was very interested in our group for he and his friends to have Christians to ride motorcycles with.  He is planning on coming to our meeting.   Vikki, Rody, Peyton, Isaac, Hailey,  and I walked around and got lunch.  Picked up something for Jack and then he came too.  We sat in the clam and visited, walked around and then when Plum was singing, we went up by the stage.  Hailey and Mia were in the front row all the time and got hi fives from the groups.  They were having so much fun.  A girl from church was supposed to meet her friends there, but they didn't show up.  She gave Vikki her passes to meet Plum.  She took Hailey and Mia with her and Plum was so nice.  She took pictures with each one of us.  Vikki took Isaac when she saw him with Rody, and Plum took another picture with him, even though she had started walking back already. Kutless started playing and a down pour came.  The weather station had down that it wouldn't rain until 10.  Wes told Vikki it was going to rain and boy was he right.  Bill and Jack left before it rained.  He took Jack to KFC and then to see Melissa.   Kutless was kind of loud, but when they started playing worshipful music they were amazing.  Mia got a drum stick from the drummer and Hailey, Peyton and Isaac got their picture taken with the drummer. We packed up everything and loaded it in my car.  Love going to Rock the Island.
Hailey and I went to Coco Loco's for dinner on the way home.  We called Vikki and she met us there.  We had fun and the food was delicious.  Set the clam up to dry out when we got home and hung out the canopy top.

7/20/18...Melissa went to ER and was admitted to hospital, Kimmy and family left for Copper Harbor...Sure will miss them

Adam, Wyatt, Jacob, and Eli...they are on the way to Copper Harbor and are in the U.P.

This is a picture they posted at the Hilltop.  This is my very favorite place to get cinnamon rolls.  They are huge and delicious.
They are in Kearsarge
I was happy to talk to Kimmy while she still had a signal.  Happy to see these pictures along their way too.  Now I have to wait til they go to Brockway Mountain.  Can't wait to hear of their adventure when they come home.

Melissa called me in the morning and had me come stay with the kids while Bruce took her to the Neurologist in Owosso.  Evan had norovirus and was throwing up.  He threw up twice while I was there and didn't any more after 10:16.  Melissa and Bruce got back and the dr. in Owosso wanted her to either go to her dr. or to the ER.  She didn't like the way Melissa's lungs sound and said she should go in for IV antibiotics.  Melissa tried to get to the dr. but ended up having to go to ER.  We prayed they would give her what she needed to get better and she got a good dr. who did. YAY.  Thanking Jesus.  I went to visit Marie and dusted her house and cleaned her 3 bathrooms for her.  She has tons of stuff to dust.  She was so happy to have it done.  She is a prayer warrior and is a blessing to so many of us.  I was happy I could help out.

I am having Hailey and Jack tonight.  Max is going to Mulder's.  Waiting to hear where Evan is going.  Hailey and Jack are going with us to Rock the Island tomorrow.   Praying the rain comes early or holds off til later and we have a dry day.

7/19/18...Sat on the deck and read my Bible, listened to worship music, and worked on the Newsletter for Faith Riders. Spent time in the camper...Went to Melissa's, Went to Visit John Wells, Went on ice cream run, Played cards with Wes and Gayla

Loved sitting under our pagoda to read my Bible, listen to worship music and work on the Newsletter

Tried making the table and booth into a bed. It was supper easy and is comfy.

Work for today, Wall studs up in utility room, switch moved to it,

Lights are installed.

They work (yay)  Our vent with heater will go over the big one.

Nice day for sitting out on deck.  Spent a lot of time out there.  The workers were here so it was a great place to be.  Our vanity for the bathroom came in so Bill picked it up.  It's so nice.  Went out to the camper for a while.  Made the booth into a bed and was happy it was long enough so I can stretch out, comfy and easy to set up.  Bill and I ate sandwiches for lunch and then I went to Melissa's. I picked up Frosty's and took them to Melissa and the kids.  Bruce put a nice handle on the door of their camper so Melissa can get in pretty easy now.  The step Vikki gave us that we don't need anymore worked great for Melissa too.   I cleaned Melissa's camper as I know it would be to hard for her right now and I wanted to help Bruce because I know he is very busy right now.  Melissa sat and visited me when I cleaned which was nice.  Nora woke up and came out to be with us too.  Melissa colored with her.  It sure was warm in her camper.  Melissa and I were both roasting and glad to get back into the air conditioned house.  I came home and got ready to go on our motorcycle ride to Merrill Dairy Bar.  We met everyone at Meijer in Shields and headed on the back roads to Merrill.  Don was our road captain.  The first time he's done it and he did great.  Our ice cream was yummy and we had a nice visit.  We went home on different back roads and had a very nice ride.  Wes and Gayla invited us over to play cards, so we went.  I kept getting pat hands and won.  What can I say.  They sure knew how to deal the cards to me.  Fun time with friends.
Melissa's appointment with the dr. in Owosso is tomorrow.  Praying she has a great appointment, the dr. has wisdom and Melissa had peace.

They replaced our table and chairs with a booth in the camper.  I like it so much better.

Lots of storage underneath with two pullout drawers.

The guys working on the bathroom didn't come today.  Kimmy and the boys came.  So happy to be able to spend the day with them.  We went over to Melissa's and the kids had fun playing and Melissa, Kimmy and I had a nice time visiting.  We came back to my house and met Vikki and the kids at the corner so we got to my house at the same time.  We visited out on the deck and ate lunch.  I took Melissa to therapy.  When I got home, Bill was back with our camper.  He and Charlie went to pick it up.  I went inside to see how they fixed things and they did a great job.  They took the table and chairs out and put a booth in for us.  We love it!  Booths are so much easier with kids and so much more comfortable.  Lots more storage underneath too, and an extra bed for grandkids.  We relaxed, visited, the girls worked on training their dogs, Vikki and I shared her hammock which was almost touching the ground, we had ice cream and then it was time for me to leave and pick up Melissa.  Kimmy, Vikki and kiddos took the dogs to the dog park.  I got to therapy about 15 minutes early, so I watched Melissa's therapist work with her.  She was great and Melissa sure is working hard.  The therapist told me she blew her goals out of the water today!  She was very happy.  I took Melissa home and went in and saw the kids.  Bill and I got Philly Sandwiches from Charlies.  Bill had to go to his Marine Corp League meeting after that.  I went out to the camper and read my Bible, played worship music, made a dangle for Kenzie, and put some stuff back in the camper.  I got the cards out and ready because Bill told me to have stuff ready to play cards out there when he got home.  He was ahead the whole game, but I went out on the last hand and stuck him with some points and won.  We had fun and the booth is sure comfortable.  Love the table top too.  It doesn't  scratch easily like the one they took out of there.  Came in the house and watched the news.

7/17/18...Went to Breakfast, Went to Melissa's, Home and then back to Melissa's, Praying for Vikki, Bill's file cabinet came,

Jack, me, Max and Evan

Isaac, me and Peyton
Bill working on his filing cabinet

We went to our breakfast at Sullivan's.  Becky and Louise were there.  They came down from Petosky.  Louise is going to be moving up there as Becky wants her to be close because she is having health issues.  Sure am going to miss her.  Keeping her in prayer because it's not easy for her leaving everything she is used to at 93 years old.  We all had a nice visit and prayed together.
After breakfast, I went to Melissa's.  The kids sure had some good hugs for me and Nora was happy to see me.  I didn't stay long because I went back at 11:15 to watch Nora for her while Melissa went to a dr. appointment.  She is congested and it's been 10 days, so they put her on an antibiotic.
Praying she is better quickly.  After I left there, I went to Vikki's to take Isaac his phone so he can fly his drone.  I was going to bring Peyton and Isaac home with me, but Vikki said they were being really good and were being really helpful.  Vikki is in pain from kidney stones again.  Praying for her too!  Peyton and Isaac had nice hugs and were happy to see me too.  I sure am blessed.
I had a nice talk with Kimmy.  She and the boys are coming tomorrow.  More good hugs on the way.  I sure will miss them when they go to Copper Harbor.  I know someone who is going to be very happy to camp with them though!!!  They will be in good hands. Bill worked on putting his file cabinet together.  He is moving his big oak rollmop desk back upstairs.  I am so glad as it sure is a junk collector.....He knows how to heap it up with his stuff.  I worked on moving my files from the desk we have upstairs now to my file cabinet and printed labels for all of the folders.  It sure is lots nicer and more organized now.  Lots of being projects around here right now.

7/16/18...Overslept as I set my alarm wrong...Workers got lots done, Went to Melissa's, took her to therapy, Cleaned the desk out upstairs, Got one layer of dust vacuumed and dusted.

A pretty hibiscus I got from Jacob and Adam's band fundraiser. So pretty

Hailey...my bookworm

Jack and Max sure have fun with legos

This will be the door they cut through to our bedroom from the bathroom

Vanity will go under the light switches and plugs they put in.  Toilet in corner

Sunken lights will be up there in shower.
It will be nice to have a big door going into the bathroom from the hallway.  They shower will be where the floor is cut out.
View of where shower will be from the other direction.
I accidentally set my alarm for 6 p.m. instead of a.m., so didn't wake up early enough to go to the SportsZone to walk.  Made us oatmeal and then was going to move my car to the back before the workers got here, but Bill had already moved it and his truck.  That made me happy.  I vacuumed the living room and dining room and dusted even though I know more dust from them working will be on the way.  Worked on cleaning the desk out upstairs and moving my file cabinet stuff to a different file cabinet.  Lots of sorting.  I went to Melissa's at noon and took a pizza from Little Caesars.  The kids were so happy that I got bread sticks too.  Took Melissa to therapy.  She had a good appt.  They got both of her toes to move and were very happy about that.  Also got her foot to move sideways with the electrodes.  I ate leftover spaghetti from Olive Garden and made Bill chicken strips, mashed potatoes and corn.  Still working on catching up my blogs,  Almost done.
