We left Mackinac City and headed home.  We had to turn around after a mile, because I forgot something in the hotel.  We went back and the guy let me in the room to get it.  When we were riding,  Kimmy called me and they were at the fair.  I told her we wanted to stop there, so I texted when we got close.  Adam was excited and was looking for us, waiting out front.  Somehow we missed seeing him, but Max found him.  We saw Kimmy, Jared and the other two boys and went and got our hugs.
So good to see them after all this time (4 weeks).  We looked at their turkeys and they were so big now.  They looked great.  Then the boys took us to look at their sheep.  They looked great too. The boys looked very handsome in their white shirts.  We gave them their glow rocks we got at Mt. Rushmore.  They are from Mt. Rushmore and are granite.  They sure do glow.  Max loved looking at the small animals with the boys.  We spent time there, and thought we would see the turkeys get judged, but the judge went to lunch.  We had to get Max home, so left.  Dropped Max off and everyone was happy to see him and us.  We gave them their rocks too.  Melissa sent me pictures of them holding them in the dark glowing.  We came home and Vikki, Peyton and Isaac were here waiting for us.  She had turned the air on for us, so the house was nice and cool.  She kept and eye on the house for us and took our garbage out for us.  She and Kimmy watered all of my outside plants.  They would probably all be dead if they hadn't.  It has been very dry.  So nice to have three amazing and wonderful daughters.  Love, Love Love them!  We were happy to see everybody and be home. I love my family! We unpacked and then went to Culver's to eat.  We didn't have any food in the house.

Monday, 8/12/19...Jacob and Adam each won first place in Showmanship in their groups. Got back in to MI. Met Wes, Gayla and Joel in Ishpeming

I am so proud of Adam and Jacob....they both got First Place in Showmanship for showing their sheep.  What handsome boys they are!

Didn't get to swim, so Max got in the hot tub in our room

Kimmy texted me this morning that Jacob and Adam both got first place in Showmanship at the fair when they showed their sheep.  They have worked hard, so hearing this made me one happy Nana.  So proud of my boys.  I have always got to watch them show, but this year we are traveling home and are in Wisconsin.  Will have to see Kimmy's videos.  We left our hotel 9 after eating a nice continental breakfast.  When we were almost into Michigan, Gayla called and told us they were by Naubinway in the U.P.  We told her we were almost in the U.P.  it worked out that we met in Ishpeming.  We were talking trying to figure out where to meet and were telling each other we were driving in front of the same building!  Passed each other ha ha. We met up at a McDonald’s after trying to find another restaurant. It was so nice seeing them and catching up with one another.  Sure do love that family!  They drove to Houghton to stay on their way to Copper Harbor and we went to Mackinaw City to stay.  We stopped at Culver’s and ate.  Drove to the bridge.  Beautiful roads! We found a nice hotel, Roadway Inn and Suites, with a view of the bridge out our window.  Beautiful room with a hot tub, which only Max used.

The kids had lots of fun in the pool
We all woke up late. It was 8:30. We all dressed quickly and headed to the continental breakfast.  It only went until 9.  Ate and then got ready and packed up.

Headed to the Mall of America.  We went to the LEGO Store first thing because Max was so excited to go there.  We spent a lot of time there while he filled three large containers with Legos and built three mini’s.  He was happy he had his chore money and money he saved so he could buy what he really wanted. It was fun seeing him so excited! He went on a roller coaster ride called Fairly Odd Coaster. He loved it.  It was amazing to see how many rides and roller coasters there were, plus a water log ride and other rides right in the middle of the Mall.  I bought a couple of tops at the mall. We walked around and
Had Cinnabons.  They were warm and very yummy. Before we left, we went to the lower level and went through their aquarium.  Very cool having sharks swim over our heads.  We left there and spent the night in Eau Claire, Wisconsin at a very nice Sleep Inn Suites..  It was a beautiful hotel and very good price.  They had a regular, but very big pool with a basketball hoop and ball.  The water was super warm too.  Max made baskets and I swam.  When I got out, a guy and his wife got in and the guy played around the world with Max. Max won. After he left, a young couple got in the pool and he played basketball with Max for 45 minutes.  Max made lots of amazing shots and caught a lot of great passes.  I had so much fun watching them and my heart was so happy seeing Max have so much fun and doing so great!  I was pretty amazed!  Bill stayed in the room and rested and read his Bible.
