Thurs., 3/4/21, Missed my kiddos today...Rody had the day off so he kept them. Painted the hallway closet door, Charlie gave Bill a muffin to give me

Jack and Evan came to the door to say hi to me

Jack and Evan (somehow Evan got way taller than Jack all of a sudden)

Ha ha it looks like I was Face Timing with Lenny
I love this picture of Kenzie and Sammy.  I sure miss Sammy!
Ha ha, Adam sent me a picture of his rare plant.  I asked him to start me a sprout from it.

Painted the closet door for the hallway today

Had our usual oatmeal and coffee.  Read our Bibles, did our devotions, and did our discipleship lesson.  Didn't get my kiddos, today because Rody had today off.  I am missing them.  Bill went for coffee and donuts with Charlie.  I went to get some groceries at Jacks and Meijer.  Stopped at Melissa's and got to see the boys, her and Bruce.   Sure made my day.  Got the closet door painted and touched up one of the doors that I couldn't get to close to to paint, because the mattress to the bed was in the way.  Vikki noticed after we moved the mattress out, that I had missed some spots.  Glad she saw that.  Talked with Melissa a couple of times, Face Timed with Vikki, Texted with Adam, Jacob and Eli.

Wed., 3/3/21, Watched Peyton and Isaac, Did Discipleship, Went to Bible Study,

 Peyton, Bill and Isaac

We ate our oatmeal, had our coffee, did our morning Bible reading and devotions.  Worshipped with Maverick City on the TV.  I love the song I Thank God!  Can't keep from dancing for the Lord when that song is on.  Now I am sore after playing it 7 times.  God has done so much for me and I am so thankful.  Vikki dropped the kiddos off.  Bill had to go to a Marine's funeral and stand in for Dutch who was unable to be there.  He looked so handsome in his Marine Corp. Jacket.  Took a picture of him with the kids.  Peyton had reading with her teacher online.  She did great!  We practiced spelling, then we went to McDonalds and picked up lunch.  We ordered right away, paid, got our stuff except one thing so pulled up to wait and they were right there with it and we didn't hardly even need to stop the car.  We all laughed at how fast they were.  WOW!  We were happy and went home to eat.  After lunch, we did our reading.  Bill and I did our discipleship book.  I made chicken in the Smart Pot, mashed potatoes and green beans for dinner.  Went to Bible Study at church.  Sat in the last row right by the door again.  We watched a movie that was rated 7+ and was about a Christian.  We didn't like how it was going, so turned it off.  Sure wasn't the right rating.   I cut up an apple for each of us.

Tuesday, 3/2/21, Happy 11th Birthday Eli!!! Congratulations Kimmy and Jared on 500 Sales on Etsy! 36 degrees today, sunny, but real windy. Watched Peyton and Isaac, Went to Goodwill with Vikki, Cleaned Kernel Burner

Happy 11th Birthday Elijah!  We love you so much!

Love this picture of Eli and Mylee
I borrowed these pictures of Eli at his house on his birthday from Kimmy

Those are some tall candles
Did he get his wish???
I love his expressions.  I've always said he should be in drama!

 Isaac
Peyton and her Barbies

I got up early so I could call Eli before school.  I sang Happy Birthday to him.  I was talking to him and wondered why he was so quiet.  Then he told me had had a big bite of donut in his mouth.  I talked to him for a few minutes, then I went back to bed for a while.  Took the garbage and recycling out when I got up.  Mailed a card for Kay's parents who are celebrating their 70th Anniversary this week.  Read my Bible and did my devotion.  Posted Eli's Birthday greeting on FaceBook.  Vikki brought Peyton and Isaac.  She visited for a few minutes and had her coffee, than left for work.  We did spelling and reading, then played Tonk.  We found out we had 4 too many jokers in the deck and that's why no one got stuck with any points.  I took them out and then the game was much more how I remember it.  Melissa Face Timed us and we got to see Evan play his recorder.  He is getting lessons with virtual classes for school.  He did a great job!  We ate lunch, then Vikki came and we all went to Goodwill.  I didn't find anything, but they did.  I cleaned the kernel burner out good when I got home.  Did my Bible Study lesson for Wed.  We watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.  We had a bowl of ice cream.  Guess we will blame that on celebrating Eli's birthday.  Congratulations to Kimmy and Jared on 500 sales on Etsy now!  Things are selling so much faster now that word has gotten out.  I am proud of both of you!

Happy Birthday Kody!  We love you!
Bill had therapy, so we ate and had our coffee, then he had to leave.  I went
shopping later to pick up items we selected to give to Foster Kids through our church.  We got a couple of packs of nice socks for boys, and two pair of pajamas for girls.  Had to find size 14-16, and only found 2 pair.  That was the only size they didn't have many of.  I was happy that they were cute ones.  Kimmy called me while I was in the parking lot at Kohl's and asked if I got her message showing me pictures of what Eli wanted for his Birthday.  She said Target had them in stock.  Great timing!  I went there and was able to get the birthday shopping all done.  I went to Dunhams and got a hat like Melissa, Hailey and Vikki on sale for $11, only mine is black and theirs are grey.  I got a pair of black thinsulate gloves on sale too.  I picked up an olive burger at Culvers to have for lunch.  Bill got home shortly after I did.  We tried to call Kody a couple of times, but Stacie didn't answer.  Bill took a packet to drop off to someone from Trinity Riders.  Vikki came over and brought some milk, potatoes, cheese and some other stuff she was blessed with and had extra over for me to have.  She is always so generous.  I was worried my milk might be starting to sour because I only use regular milk when Isaac comes and for mashed potatoes and the date was way past the sell date.  Nice to have fresh.  She ate some asparagus with me, but didn't want any venison steak.  I cooked it in my Smart Pot for an hour and it fell apart.  It was even better than roast.  Yum!  She doesn't like venison, so wouldn't try it.  Stacie called back later and I got to sing Happy Birthday to Kody and talk to him.  He was so cute and so sweet.  What a great kid! Bill wasn't home yet.  He got home about 15 minutes later.   Face timed with Vikki and the kiddos.  Face Timed with Melissa too.

Sunday, 2/28/21, Went to church, relaxing day of rest!

Some cousins sure had fun playing minecraft together even though they were in their own homes
 Jack
 Evan
 Isaac and Peyton

Got up early so I could read my Bible and pray before church.  Made our coffee before church. Bill went to pray with the Elder's for Pastor, and I went to our intercessory prayer.  God was sure moving during prayer directing us what to pray for and confirming it.  After church, we came home and I made eggs, potatoes, bacon, and toast.   Took a nice nap and caught up on my sleep.  I am not an early bird, getting up a 5:30 and then staying up until after midnight, tired me out.  We talked to Travis and Kenzie until after Midnight about the Bible, Bill shared his Vision, and some other things God has done in his life. To day I talked to Vikki and Melissa.  I am super happy that Hailey is singing with the worship team at Bethlehem on Sunday, and next week for the first time will be playing her guitar with them.  Way to be a blessing Hailey!  I can't wait to hear her online.  Praying for a friend at church whose 6 yr. old little niece went into the hospital and now they are saying she needs a heart transplant.  Praying for a miracle for this little sweetie.  Her name is Trinity and I know they appreciate all the prayers they can get.  After we ate the last of the chicken noodle soup Vikki gave us, I had a bowl of the Butterfinger Ice Cream she sent home for us.  Bill was too picky and only wanted Vanilla like usual.  I will have to force myself to eat the Butterfinger kind all by myself.  It's so yummy, it won't be too hard on me.  Thanks Vikki!  Did my lesson for Discipleship.  I texted with Adam.  Face Timed with Melissa and then with Vikki.

Sat., 2/27/21, Up early, got breakfast...everything individually wrapped at the hotel. Went to Seasons of Refreshing

No pictures today.  I was just focusing on staying safe and social distancing.  Good messages from our National Evangelist, Jay, and State Coordinator, Wayne.  Bill led the Pledge of Allegiance and the Pledge to the Christian Flag.  They served baked potatoes, with different topping choices...chili, cheese, chives, sour cream, bacon, ham.  You just told the person what you wanted on your plate.  You could just have a bowl of chili if you didn't want it on your potato.  It was delicious!  We left at around 6 and headed home. Stopped at McDonalds in Perry and Bill got a shake and I got a cheeseburger.  We split fries.  Was so happy to get home.  Unpacked and settled in our recliners with our electric throws.  Bill read his Bible because he didn't have time.  I read mine in the morning while he was taking his shower.  You should Go to You Tube and Type in Going Beyond Ministries with Pricilla Shirer...Let Revival...  Listen to the first Part about a Professor who took a group of students to visit the home John Wesley used to live in.  It is so touching.

Fri., 2/26/21, Went to CMA Seasons of Refreshing in Jackson

Ha Ha...this is our television in our hotel room.  Our reflection is in it so I sent the picture to the girls and told them we were watching us on tv.

Cool mirror in the bathroom with white stripes.  When I turned on the switch I realized they were the lights.
It also has something built in the mirror that takes the need for a fan away.  No steam after a shower. Squeeze containers of soaps, lotions, cream rinse on walls so no take home soaps and lotions to collect for missionaries to give out.  No coffee pots in rooms.  Lots of changes because of Covid.
Adam sent me this cute picture of all the pillows he was using.  8 1/2...and I thought Bill used a lot...4
Vikki sent me this picture today of me with Peyton and both her and Isaac's birds on my fingers

Left at 12:30 for Jackson to go to Seasons of Refreshing for our CMA.  Stayed at the Hilton.  Nice hotel room.  Everything very updated, clean and many USB port plugs. Plain and simple, but efficient.  No dressers or bedside tables.  Probably because of Covid also.  Looked pretty easy for the housekeepers to clean and sanitize.   Happy we are here for just a short time.  Can’t wait to be home sweet home.  So thankful for Lela's nice comfortable masks since I had to wear one the whole day.  No steamed up glasses and it covers so nicely.  Many compliments on them.  Thanks again Lela!

Not as many here this year and it’s a huge church, Grace Church, so very easy to social distance.  My heart is so sad that Brenda Roever passed away today from Covid.  Praying hard for Dave and their family and all of us who were so touched by their ministry.
