Saturday, 9/6/25, Happy Birthday Peyton and Isaac! We love you so much! Went to Bikes on the Bricks, had Birthday party for Peyton and Isaac and included some recent birthdays with theirs

Got our security vests on so we could block for the bike ride into Flint.  It’s a pretty long ride and they need lots of blockers to block intersections when the police on motorcycles pull into a spot and direct us to follow.  Then they go and get back in place in front.
Lots of motorcycles and people.  Elaine did a bike blessing for the large group and we all passed out blessing stickers and talked to people

Rody got the question mark....He is 49, but I thought he might be 48 still.  That was the question of the day!
Bruce turned the big 50 yesterday so got the big 50 candle
Peyton had Regan and Ava over and they all had lots of fun.
Regan, Ava, Hailey, Peyton and Abi...nice group of girls

Bill laughing at his new window bird feeder the girls and families got him.  I have one and the girls and I love watching the birds at it.  It was more for me than for him lol.  They were trying to throw him off in guessing their gift.
Me watching Bill open his Jack ground supports for the motorhome.  He knew he was getting those because he asked me yesterday if I wanted to go to Camping World and I had to tell him no, because he’s not supposed to shop for himself before his birthday

My light up Happy Birthday flashing light.  It is so pretty in person.

Me and Eli...I am holding a coupon book he gave me when he was little and I have the coupon in my hand that says he’d give me a big kiss....I am puckered, but I haven’t got that kiss yet lol.  I did give him one of the coupons for doing kind things and helping, and another one that said sleep over at my house...I still have lots of fun coupons.  There’s no expiration date on them.

Eli...it looks like he’s eating angel food cake and strawberries.  Bill looking over his bird feeder.

We got ready and left at 7:30 to go to Bikes on the Bricks.  It was a cool morning and the temperature was 48 degrees when we left.  We dressed warm and didn’t get cold.  I am glad we have heated seats and he has heated grips.  We stopped and had breakfast at Bringer Inn with Wes, Gayla, Don, Jerry and then Ron and Barb came for coffee later.  We got to The Harley Davidson Dealer in Flint and walked inside for a while, then went outside.  Elaine did a great bike blessing and all of us from CMA handed out Bike Blessing Stickers.  We talked to some people about Jesus and offered to pray for anybody who wanted prayer.  Then we went and got on our motorcycles and lined up behind the police on their motorcycles.  All of the people in the Harley dealership parking lot lined up and as we started moving, they got in behind us.  There were lots of bikes there.  We probably went 40 miles before it was our turn to block.  Lots of people were sitting or standing by the road waving to us.  Wes and Gayla were riding in front of us and Barb and Ron were behind us.  We blocked a road and when the last motorcycle went buy, the police car but it siren and lights on so we knew to pull in at the end.  We road a short distance and drove into the city and parked out bikes.  We walked around town, went to the CMA booth and talked to Paul, Bev and Paul.  We went to eat at the Market Place and got lunch at whatever food place we wanted, after looking at them all.  We met at the food court and ate together.  We headed to the CMA booth after that and I asked Jessica if they wanted us to cover for them while they walked around.  I told her we had about an hour before we had to head home to celebrate birthdays.  They left and we covered.  Wes and Gayla came and helped us.  Ron and Bev left for home because she had knee surgery pretty recently.  I left my phone at home so couldn’t take any pictures.  Bill sure took a lot though.  We had wonderful opportunities from the Lord to talk to people about Jesus, hand out tracks, rag tracks, prayed with people.
We left after an hour, walked around and looked at the vendor booths, then said goodbye to Wes, Gayla, Bev and Jim and left for home.  We got into a few sprinkles for about 3 minutes, then no more rain after that.  When we got home, I stirred the chili, then put everything needed out for it,   Vikki and Peyton got here and Vikki helped me with stuff and cut the tops off so I could chop them up for over the angel food cake.  I went upstairs to fill out all the cards, because I hadn’t had time to do Bruce’s yesterday, had to do another one for Bill, and had to do Peyton and Isaac’s and had to put their gifts in gift bags.  Kimmy and family got here and came upstairs and helped me.   She had called me earlier to see if Abi could spend the night with us and then Jacob would come pick her up in the morning and they would head to MSU.  Of course I said yes right away.  Everyone helped try to find my phone several times.  I didn’t want to wake Bill up by turning the bedroom light on, so I didn’t set it on the charger right and it didn’t charge. Bill knew about the chairs I bought and paid cash for at Harbor Freight too.  I paid cash so he wouldn’t see it on the Visa, but they asked me about reward points so I used his number.  Then they sent him the receipt with all the information on it. I’ve never had that happen before.  After I gave him a card with a gift card in it to use to take us out for our Anniversary Monday,  he told me he knew he was still getting the chairs.  No surprises for him.  He sure liked everything though.  Bruce and Max left and then Rody and Isaac left.  Eli, Evan and Jack played with light sabres outside for a while.  Then Melissa and the kids left.  Kimmy, Jared, Adam and Eli stayed and so did Jacob and Abi.  They all helped clean up, then searched again for my phone, in the house, in the camper and in the motorcycle.  We still didn’t find it.  Bummer.   They left and so did Jacob. Abi spent the night with us.  It was late when they left.  She was tired so she went to bed right away.  We read our Bibles and I worked on my blog and then we went to bed.

Friday, 9/5/25, Happy Birthday Bruce! We love you! Kimmy and Vikki came over, visited, made lots of chili, made a sheet cake, made an angel food cake.went to Bruce and Melissa’s to celebrate his birthday, went to Heritage’s game to see Isaac play his clarinet in the marching band

Hailey and Evan....Hailey made tomato/pepper soup that was delicious and an amazing pineapple upside down cake
Me, Hailey, Evan, Bill and Jack
Evan came out to greet us right away when we got there, so I took his picture with Papa

Watched the first half of the game between Heritage and Midland dow.  Midland Dow was ahead at half time
Isaac’s marching band was invited to play with the Heritage marching band at half time.  He did a great job.  I’m so proud of him!  The bands sounded great together.
They did some marching as they played

I got up early and started making chili and did a load of laundry.  Kimmy and Vikki got here and pitched in and helped me with opening cans and adding stuff to the chili.  While the chili was cooking,  I made a sheet cake, put it in the oven, then made frosting for it right away.  It was done after 25 minutes, so I took it out and frosted it right away.

I sat and visited with the girls then and relaxed.  Then I made an angel food cake and set the timer for 45 minutes.  We relaxed in the family room then.  When the timer went off, Kimmy got up and got the cake out and put it on the bottle to cool.  We all took a nice nap then, until it was time for Vikki and Kimmy to go pick up the kids.  They were going to Walmart too.

I went at the same time to get my blood test at Covenant.  there were only two of us and they called us at the same time.  I got in and got right out.  I came home and picked up some quick release Frog tape I needed to return to Walmart.  I drove there, returned it, then picked up some diet pop.  I called the girls and they were still shopping for over the counter stuff.
When I went to the check out, I saw them right away checking out ahead of me.  I got my hug from Peyton.  Then I checked out and left the store.  I got home and sat down with Bill.  They went to drop Peyton off at home and then went to Melissa’s to take her over the counter stuff they picked up for her.  They got to my house, and we walked outside to look for caterpillars.  We didn’t see any.  It was pretty cool and windy out.  We came back in the house and visited more.  Vikki had to leave.  Kimmy helped put new batteries in my flashing birthday light up sign.  It took a little while, but she got it working right.  Then she left to head home too.  I got ready and we left to go to Melissa’s for Bruce’s Birthday dinner and cake.  Everything was delicious.  Hailey did a great job cooking and baking.  Melissa did a great job making the yummy grilled cheese sandwiches too.  Thank you Melissa and Hailey.  It was fun seeing the kids and celebrating Bruce’s birthday.

We left their house and headed to the Heritage Football game.  We parked and got in the long line.  Dana and Donna were behind us in line so we visited with them while we walked.  Donna was running across the field with lots of other kindergarteners at half time.  Then Isaac was playing his clarinet at half time.

We watched the first half of the game.  Midland Dow was ahead.  We had great seats.  Adam came to the school and met Vikki so she could show him where we were sitting.  He had his cowboy boots on and also his new cowboy hat.  He looked very handsome in it.  I was so happy to see him.  How sweet that he came to see us.  He left before half time and went to his school and watched their football game.  Donna did a great job running across the field.  Isaac did a great job playing his clarinet in the marching band.  It was so fun to watch him.

Bill and I left after half time.  We came home and synced our new helmets with built in Sena’s.  It took a few minutes, but we figured it out.  Then I read my Bible.  He read his earlier in the day.  I worked on my blog after that.  It was a fun but busy day.

Thursday, 9/4/25, Picked the last of the garden except the onions and some green peppers too small to pick. Bill mowed it down, I went shopping for things I’m making for the birthday gathering Sat., went to Jeep night at Apple Mt., Bill had a zoom meeting with State Coordinators.

Rehvyn when I was FaceTiming with him and Kenzie this morning
He is sure talking nice and clear now
CMA decal Bill put on the camper.  It looks so nice.
The garden all mowed down except corn stalks that Misty usually wants, green peppers and onions
Bill on the tractor.
At the Jeep gathering at Apple Mountain.  Our Jeep and Rody and Vikki’s Jeep were my favorite
A friend, Doug, from church owns this Jeep
Peyton, Isaac and Rody
I can’t believe some Jeeps park like this. Bill said they just drove up the tire of the other Jeep.  Yikes!
Fun with Vikki, Rody, Peyton and Isaac there
Kimmy sent me these pictures of Eli’s Forge and other stuff he got.  He made the workbench.  He’s sure is a talented guy!
He quenched his first knife from a railroad spike

We got up, read our Bibles.  I went downstairs and vacuumed the basement.  Kenzie video called me and I missed her twice.  She called back and I was upstairs for that one.  Rehvyn was sure the cutest boy today.  He says words so clear.  He showed me his car, sat in his chair for me and gave me kisses when I had to hang up.  I went out and picked the green peppers, lots of tomatoes, and lots of beets.  Bill mowed down what was done.
I showed him where the onions were and the rest of the peppers were so he didn’t mow over them.  The garden sure looks better than all the weeds standing up in it.  I got groceries at Aldi, Sam’s Club, Walmart, and Jack’s.  Got a 50 lb. bag of wild bird food too.  I sure enjoy watching the birds at my window feeders. They come nice and steady.

Vikki called and let me know they were going to the Jeep show at Apple Mountain.  Bill was home, so I told him about it.  Didn’t know if he could go because he’s having a zoom meeting later.  He found out the zoom meeting was at 8, so that gave him enough time to go.  He called me to come, so I put the groceries that needed to be in the refrigerator, in the one in the garage and then headed to Apple Mt.  The road was closed, so I had to wait for a temporary light and go a country block out of my way.  I got there and parked and called to see where they were.  I found them pretty fast.  It was fun hanging out together and looking
at all the cool Jeeps.  We saw Doug from Church and his wife Amy.

We left so we could get home in time for the Zoom meeting.  I helped Bill get it on my computer. It went off once, but I got it back on for him.  It was a meeting with the National Evangelist and all of the state coordinators to discuss all the state rallies.  Ours was the last one.  They all went well.

I made us banana splits afterwards, then worked on my blog.

Wed., Sept.3, 2025, Put things I brought in away, I went to Birch Run, went to Harbor Freight, made eggs, potatoes and bacon for dinner.

Love the Keurig Vikki found for me!  It has the water container on the side and it has a handle on it.  The couple she got it from also put lots of pods in with it....Starbucks regular and some flavors, Newman’s Organic pods, and lots of Donut Shop plain and flavored.  There were at least $40 worth.

I started the last load of laundry from camping in the morning.  We read our Bibles.  I filled the window hummingbird feeder since it was getting low and I saw the hummingbird out there going to it.  Lots of birds at the other window feeder too.

I set up the new Keurig and brought the pod holder in from the camper and filled it with some of the pods that came with the coffee maker.  I made us both a cup and it sure makes it fast and it tastes so good.

Bill went out to mow the grass and I left to go shopping for his birthday presents.  I went to General RV and picked up the things for under the jacks he wants from the girls.  I know he is going to be so happy to get them.  Then I went to the Outlet stores to try to find a Good Feet store.  I went into some shoe stores that my Google search said had their inserts.  They didn’t though.  Then I called the ones listed for our town and they didn’t have them either.  Will have to make a trip to Flint soon because they have an actual Good Feet store.

I got a kids olive burger meal from Culver's.  It was raining pretty steady out.  It rained all the way home, and kind of hard at times, but I could always see the person ahead of me at least.  I got to my neighbor’s driveway and realized I didn’t go to Harbor Freight.  I turned around and went there.  I got Bill two nice, very lightweight chairs for both of us for his Birthday.  They are so nice and come with a tray and pockets to hold lots of things.  I can carry one with two fingers.  He had said he wanted some.   We can put our grey ones in the bags in the garage to take with us when we are in a hurry and don’t want to get ones from the camper.  Our other ones are wearing out that are in the garage.  I sure hope he is surprised and he doesn’t go and try to get anything before his birthday.  He is know for doing that.

I talked to all the girls today and yesterday too.  Got to talk to Jacob in the background and also Peyton and Isaac.  It was good to catch up since we were so busy at the rally that I didn’t have time to call them.  It is good to be home.  My flower garden stayed weed free while we were gone.  Preen helps.  I had to spray my Hibiscus with Seven’s Dust as there were some bugs on it.  That took care of them. I sprayed them last night which I am glad of.  Today it got washed off.  I will have to keep my eye on it.

Bike games in the afternoon.  Everyone had so much fun.  The kids really participated and enjoyed it
Lots of spectators too

Me and Bev announcing the bake sale total in the evening service.  $1,104.00 dollars raised for Run for the Son for missions.  Very exciting
Banner the town of Sebewaing hung over the Main Street welcoming us!

We went to the morning service.  Worship was awesome and Jeff gave a really good message.  We went to Goodies and shopped afterwards.  Used the rest of our $100 gift certificates.  Bought some tool box items for witnessing.

Today was a beautiful day for bike games.  There were lots of bikes, drivers and youth participating.  It was so much fun to watch.  Bill had fun taking the youth out to play games.  My leg was hurting so I didn’t do games this year.  I was their cheerleader though.  Bill and Mike had some fun chasing each other and throwing water balloons.  I went back to the camper so I missed those two oldies but goodies having all that fun.

Michelle, Jordan, Lydia and their sweet new baby came to visit.  Lydia wanted to go inside the camper for a while.  She played for a little while, then wanted to try going potty.  She decided she didn’t need to go, so we went back outside.  She was getting tired and wanted to nap outside.  She sure is a sweet and very good little girl.  Elaine stopped over to visit too.
I offered to make lunch for Michelle and family but Michelle had to go cook some food her mom bought for them.  Elaine ate with us though.

At 4, I went to Goodies to help pack up.  Bill went to the baptism for Midge which was at the same time.  We decided to support both by splitting up.  I loved seeing pictures of the baptism afterwards.

We went to the evening service.  They announced the winners of the bike games, bug run, scavenger hunts and Bev and I announced the total raised for the bake sale and auction of lot over baked goods. $1,104.00.  Yay!  So thankful to everyone who brought baked goods, who helped in the booth, and those who bought baked goods.  Such a blessing.

Debbie did an open mike night.  Some shared testimonies, some sang, some shared jokes etc.

After the service, Jay, Jane, Ziggy, Bill and I went over to our new youth leaders campsite across from ours and got to know them better.  They are such a nice couple and have such a good heart to reach youth with the gospel.  We are so glad God brought them to us.  We have been praying at least 4 years for youth leaders.
