We got up around 9.  Nice sleeping in after staying up late.  We ate breakfast and then put the awing down because they said we were going to get storms with 60 mph wind gusts.  Went for a walk around the campground and got warm so went for a swim.  Most of the kids were at a magic show at the pavilion so not too many in the pool. We came home and the kids had pb&js and Vikki and I had blt's.  Vikki liked them.  First one she's tried.  It rained but not hard.  We went for another walk and we saw Daisy the golden doodle. They thanked Vikki for telling them about the gentle leaders. Vikki and I put the awning back up and then played 3-13 and 2 games of dice

8/21/16 Melissa and her family and Kimmy and her family came to camp.Rody came for the day

Went to church.  Great worship service and message.  Met with Greg and Merijo at Harvey's afterward for lunch to discuss her mom's memorial service Bill is doing.

When we got back up north Melissa and her family and Kimmy and her family were there.  Sooooo happy to be camping with everyone.   Went for a walk and sat around the campfire.

We had lots of fun today.  Walked down to Kimmy's site this morning and sat and drank our coffee.  Then we went for a walk.  We spent time at each of our camp sites, went for a bike ride.   Then went to the inside pool.  The kids had fun with light sticks. Melissa, Kimmy and I went for a nice bike ride around the campground, then all of us went to the outside pool.  I came home and started potatoes.  The kids had fun playing on the beach.  We all ate at our camper.  We had burgers, hot dogs, salad, baked potatoes and corn on the cob from our garden.  Hailey was amazing with Peyton and Isaac and was such a help all day.  All the kids were playing a game she made up on our picnic tablecloth. 

We all had smores.  Vikki, Bill and I played 3-13 and dice. It was a great day with family I love so much.

8/19/16....went to the dentist, then to Kimmy's, then to see Kenzie atSubway and then back camping

Got ready and went to the endodotist in Midland to see if I needed a root canal.  Everyone was nice there.  Can't do one as there is only a 30% chance it would work he said.  May have to have it pulled if it gives me any trouble. It was only 10 minutes from Kimmy's house.  I went too visit her and the boys afterwards.  Had a nice time with them.  Happy Jacob made $550 on his sheep and Adam made $600.  The State Rep bought Jacob's and Isabella Bank bought Adam's.  What a great experience for the boys and they were so responsible and did a great job. 

4 H is such a wonderful program.  stopped at Subway and saw Kenzie.  She made me a delicious chicken sub.  Went back to my house to pick corn to bring and get Mocha.  Headed back to the campground.  Went swimming.  When we came back we saw Nikki and the kids at the beach.  They came to our campsite to visit.  The kids helped me shuck corn and did a great job.  We ate that and hot dogs Vikki grilled.  The corn is so good this year.  The hot dogs were yummy too.  Vikki cleaned up everything after we were done eating.  Thanks Vikki!  I sure am blessed with wonderful, caring daughters!  We went for a walk around the campground.  Sat outside the camper.  Greg got there and drove by so we talked to him.  Went for another walk.  Vikki and I took a turn going to the adult swim.  It was so nice.  Played a game of 3-13 And 2 games of dice before bed.

8/18/16..Vikki came back to the campground with Peyton and Isaac. Ispent time with the kids and then had to leave to come home for amotorcycle ride.

 Wes and Gayla have 99 cent baby cones and Isaac has a single.  It was huge.  I got a baby black cherry.

 Sabrina let this little guy sit on her motorcycle.  He had his dog with him and it ate one ice cream cone itself, then finished both of this kids and his dad.  It was a chubby dog and I know why.

Kimmy sent me these pictures of Adam on the log.  He raised both hands to volunteer at the fair to do this and they picked him.

Opened up the screen tent as no rain is predicted today.  After that I went for a swim.  The weather and water were great.  Came back to the camper and made a BLT.  Vikki was on her way so I stayed there so I could help her when she got there.  Lenny looked cute with his new hair cut.  The kids ate PB&J sandwiches and then I took them swimming.  We came back in time to change and make it to the hay ride.  After the hay ride we went for ice cream and Breezy insisted on treating us.  She is so sweet.  Packed up and left in order to make it back to go on a motorcycle run with Faith Riders to Breckenridge for ice cream.  I only got a baby cone as I already had had ice cream.  The single cones were huge.  Glad I didn't get one of those.  Came home and Kenzie had made brownies.
