3/20/18...Went to breakfast, Went to get my friend Vikki a Birthday Card, Went to Ollies, Met my friend Vikki for lunch, Picked up a cake from Sam's, Had small group

Nice fire going today!  Really cold and windy outside today

Rich and my Birthday Cake and Cupcakes.  The little butterflies are rings.  The girls in my class will love them  when I put them in the surprise box.
Me and the beautiful birthday cupcake cake

Marie and Roy (She's in her 70's and Roy is in his 80's) came to small group early so they could give me a blessing for my Birthday.  They gave me this pretty shirt and this neckless and earring set.  So very sweet of them and made my day!

Kim Reminder brought me these chocolates she made....cute lipsticks, high heels, and roses .Also gave me the popcorn container with popcorn and Fritos in it.  She is always so sweet and always doing things like this for people in our church.

Went to breakfast.  Nice to see everyone again and especially nice to have Louise call all of us.  She is in Florida waiting to have an aortic valve replaced at 93 yrs old.  She sounded good but a little weak from being in the hospital.  She is going in a rehab today so they can get her stronger before they do the procedure in two weeks.
I stopped at Melissa's for a few minutes after breakfast.  Nora was there and is just so cute and sweet.  After I left her house, I went to get a birthday card for Vikki and also went to Ollie's to get some more stuff for the clothes basket we are filling to give away to my friend, Vikki's ministry.  Came home and packed up the clothes basket.  Lots of good stuff in it.  I took a picture of Vikki's present since it was too big to wrap, and put a dishcloth and scrubbie and fragrance thing it a gift bag with the pictures.  I met her at Applebees at 12:15 and we had potato soup and a half club sandwich. I had had their soup before I went to Florida and it was delicious, but this soup didn't have potatoes in it and it had a very funny taste.  We called the waitress over to ask her about it and she told us they had changed recipes.  We told her we didn't like it and asked for Onion soup instead.  It was much better.  We had fun visiting, praying and opening our birthday gifts to each other.  Her birthday is March 27, so we have always celebrated them together her.  She got me a beautiful picture frame box, a lightweight light up travel mirror, a 6 foot cord to charge my phone, a beautiful friend candle, a towel with He Has Risen written on it and some pretty small lotions for my purse.  Afterwards, I went to her brother's with her and helped her unpack her car and also unpacked the stuff I had in my car for her.  She loved her yard spinner.  Then I went home and remembered I needed a cake for tonight at small group.   I picked up a cake with cupcakes around it at Sam's Club for Rich and my birthdays.  We had a good small group.  Only 9 of us there tonight but it was sure a great lesson.  Love our small group and growing in the Lord together.

3/19/18 Went to the SportsZone, Went shopping,Went and walked through the new camper again at the dealers, Did Small Group Lesson

Went to the SportsZone and if felt good to walk there again.  I only walked two miles today.  Went shopping for my friend, Vikki's, birthday present.  I found a beautiful yard spinner at McDonald's Nursery. Also went shopping to get stuff to fill the clothes basket she wants the girls and I to fill for sex traffic victims.  I found really good deals and beautiful kitchen things for it that were on our list.  Bill and I went to lunch at Tony's and then drove to Kawkawlin to go through our new camper again.  After that, we went to the hospital to visit our friend who was in a motorcycle accident Saturday.  He is 47 years old and was riding on a country road and it jogged.  He got into some gravel and tried to correct it but couldn't.  He laded in the ditch.  All that was sticking out of the ditch was the Jesus emblem he had on the back.  His helmet flew off from the impact.  A friend was following him and had to do CPR twice on him.  A car stopped right away and called 911.  The flew him to St. Mary's and put him in NICU.   He had a fractured skull, a brain bleed, swelling and was pretty bruised up.  They induced a coma to help the healing process.  The dr. said if he wouldn't have had the CPR, he wouldn't have made it.  God sure protected him.  They believe he will be ok and recover fully. We are thanking God and continuing to pray.  We went in the waiting room and met his friend who saved his life afterward.  Came home and did our lesson for small group.

Yard spinner that I got my friend Vikki.  It glows in the dark.

I went to church early to get things in my room ready for Sunday School.  I had to blow up 13 balloons for my class.  I blew up the first one, tied it and it got a hole in it right where I tied it.  I blew up another one and it got a hole in it too.  The third one didn't get a hole that I could see, but shortly after blowing it up, the air came out of it.  After that, I went to get Joan to let her know.  She got me different balloons right away and then came to my room and blew up one of the ones I was having trouble with.  Wouldn't you know it, hers stayed filled with air.  I blew a couple more up and they got holes.  Blew all the new balloons she gave me up, and still needed 2 more.  I tried the original balloons and got two to stay filled with air.  Worship was amazing today!  After that, we met for Sunday School.  My kids were sure wound up.  They were happy to see me, because I have been gone and were so sweet giving me hugs and telling me they missed me.  I finally told them that who ever was listening good and behaving would be able to take a balloon home.  They sure quieted down then.  After church, everyone came over and we all hung out together.  I opened my beautiful cards and wonderful presents.  Pictures are above.  Sure loved everything.  We ate Chili at 5, and then had delicious cake that Kimmy made and brownies.  We had ice cream too!  Kody tried all 5 kinds of ice cream.  Kody and Eli opened their presents.  Kody liked his nerf gun papa picked out.  Eli was so cute showing his excitement and how much he liked his Mega Nerf gun.  He is so cute and dramatic.
What a wonderful day with family!  I am so blessed!

We slept in. We have been getting up early on our trip.  Felt so good to sleep in.  Went to Jack's basketball game and enjoyed watching him and his team play.  They played really good and can sure get the ball away from the other team.  They need to practice shooting so they can make more baskets, but did have some good shots.  Melissa and I had popcorn and pop we bought from the three cute girls in the picture above.  After we left the game, we went to Kawkawlin and walked around our new camper.  It was a beautiful day out and a nice ride.  Can't wait to get our camper and get it loaded.  We got home and Vikki and Peyton came over.  Poor Lucy's leg got hurt.  She sure is a cuddle.  Praying her leg is better soon.  I made the chili while they were here.  Made chicken chili for my Kimmy,  ground beef chili with potatoes, and ground beef chili without potatoes.  Took longer than I thought it would.  Didn't get it done for Vikki to have some in time.  She had to leave to go home and give Lenny his medicine.

We left our hotel in Logan, Ohio and headed for home.  Got  home around 2 p.m.  We stopped and picked up all of our mail that was held for us and then got home and unpacked.  There was a huge box that Bill told me was mine for my birthday.  While we were on our trip, we went into a nice furniture store and I showed him a mirror with a jewelry compartment behind it.  The doo slid to the side, so I told him I wanted one some day but I wanted the door to open, not slide. Well he ordered it and it came to our house so he had Vikki put it inside.  Poor Vikki because it was pretty big and heavy.  He had me open it and it was beautiful.  There is a picture of it on 3/18/18.  Vikki, Isaac, Peyton, Kimmy, Jacob, Adam and Eli came over and brought Lucy for us to meet.  I was so happy to see everyone and catch up on hugs.  I was pretty excited to see Lucy too!  What a sweet and beautiful little puppy.  I love her coloring and her little white paws.  We all had fun holding her.
After they left, Melissa, Bruce and the kids came over.  They had been to Jack's basketball party.  The boys had eaten, but Melissa, Hailey and Bruce didn't so I picked up an extra big pizza and a no cheese for Bill.  Well, the boys were still hungry so they ate with us...Ally was here too.  It was amazing because we had some pizza left over.  Evan did eat a piece of Bill's.  Max doesn't usually eat much, but he loves pizza now and wanted some.  Glad to see him eating better.  We had fun and it was so good to see them and get my hugs from them too.  I love my family!!! Bill put the jewelry case mirror together and I put everything in it before I went to bed.  It is so nice!  So sweet of him to surprise me like that!  Sure do love him!

3/15/18..Left Pam and Dick's, traveled to Logan, Ohio and spent the night at a Baymont Hotel.

Pammie, Dick, me and Bill.  The fish on the fireplace was a piece of driftwood Pammie bought at a driftwood shop for $20.  Dick made it into this fish. He made the TV stand.  it has sailboats carved in the shelves on the back.  The fireplace opening on the left is gas, and there is another behind us which is for burning wood.

I took this picture while we were driving.  We stopped at the next exit and the guy in the gas station told Sue it has been on the Andy Griffith Show.  I will have to check it out.

Entering into Virginia

Love the mountains

Went through two tunnels.  They still have snow but it was 60 degrees out..

In the tunnel.  I can't go through a tunnel without thinking of Jack Bauer on 24  since watching it.
We got ready in the cabin. Headed to the house and noticed Dick was in his workshop.  Stopped to say good morning.  He was cutting wood for pens that Bill wants to make.  Bill ordered wood but it came in a big piece.  We went in the house and Pammy had everything ready for breakfast.  She wanted to make eggs but we told her we wanted cereal.  We had delicious homemade toast with it and homemade jam.  Also had yogurt and fresh raspberries, blueberries and strawberries.  We took some pictures together and then We walked back to the cabin.  Pam and I went in to get my earrings and check that we had everything.  On our way out, she gave me a beautiful large wooden Bible Box Dick had carved and made.  They had one in their house she has showed me.  A Catholic Diocese in New York had wanted him to make 1000 for them.  He didn’t want to get into making that amount.  She also gave us a beautiful picture of their lake.  We thanked them and gave our hugs goodbye and left.  Shortly after we were on the road, we saw a beautiful Eagle right close to the road sitting in a tree.  I took a picture of a Rocky Mountain peak and when we stopped the guy at the gas station said it was on the Andy Griffith Show.  Will have to check that out.  When we got into The mountains in Virginia, there were flashing signs over the road saying there was a high wind advisory.  Those were some strong winds!  We  Stopped and ate lunch at a Cracker Barrel.  Drove until 6:30 p.m.  Got to Logan, Ohio and stayed at a Baymont.  There was a Walmart just across the road and down a little bit.  I returned the baby stuff I had gotten for Chris and Angie's baby and forgot at our condo.  Also found some yarn I really like for dishcloths. Got Arby's which is right across from our hotel too and brought it back to the hotel to eat.  No one wanted to swim, but I needed exercise and the girl said the pool temp was 86 degrees, so I went by myself.  I almost didn't go because we were at one end of the building and the pool was at the other.  I did though and the water was so warm and nice.  I swam for a long time.  This couple came in and she asked me how the water was.  I told her it was warm, but they just got in the hot tub.
I swam longer and then got in the hot tub with them.  We started talking and they were from Ohio, but have been to Bronner's several time and have been to the Mackinaw Bridge, Island and Grand Hotel.  They told me they have been to Ann Arbor for games too.  I told them I have been in Ann Arbor lots and started telling them about Melissa and how God healed her.  When I told them she had had Gullian Barre' Syndrome, I said have you ever heard of that and they said yes, she had had it too.  They wanted to hear every detail about Melissa and said several times how happy they were that she was doing great now.  The lady didn't have it as bad as Melissa, but still had it bad.  Her husband was a dentist and said it was horrible for her to go through.  They were the nicest people.  I sure am glad I went swimming so I could meet them.
