7/1/17...Everyone came up but Kenzie and we celebrated the 4th of July. So thankful for Our Country's Independence

Love this picture of Kimmy and Eli
Rody, Isaac and Peyton eating breakfast at the pavalion

We got there so Bill got breakfast too.  I was too full.  Vikki, Rody and the kids sat with us while he ate.  I drank my coffee

We set up the tent for the kids.  Looks like there is a big kid in there with Peyton and Isaac

The kids had so much fun decorating their bikes and riding in the parade.  Jacob was excited and wanted to do it too which made us happy.  I have to get pictures from Kimmy of him and Eli decorating them.

Cool picture Vikki took.  She sent it in to Outdoor Adventures and they posted it right away on their main page
Melissa posted this cute picture of their ride home.  Everyone fell asleep shortly after they left and Max was laughing hard when he turned around and saw them.

I got up early and made cheesy potatoes to take up north.  Bill and I came back to the campground in the morning.  We headed down to the pavilion for breakfast and Vikki, Rody and the kids were headed toward us.  They came back with us and sat with us while Bill ate.  We got back to the camper and decided to set the tent up for the kids.  I cut up a muskmelon.  Kimmy and her family got there pretty early.  We went for a walk and then went down for the kids to decorate their bikes for the bike parade.  They had so much fun and their bikes looked so cute.  Peyton and Isaac had just learned to ride without training wheels so we were a little nervous about them riding in it, but they did just fine.  Melissa and her family got there later on.  We had just decided not to wait any longer to go swimming.  Just got in the pool and they got there.  We had fun swimming and then went for a walk again.  Sat in the Clam for a while and then made hot dogs on the grill.  Dennis Ward, Eli and Emma stopped in for a little while and ate with us.  We had so much fun.  In he evening we walked down by the pond and watched the fireworks.  They put on a good display for us.  The kids all had fun together.  Love not having to be in lots of traffic or jam packed with people.  What a fun day with family!  My heart is full of love!

630/17 Took Isaac and Peyton fishing

Cute picture of Peyton ad Isaac in Northwoods

Isaac wasn't catching any fish so the little boy on the dock said the next time he caught one, Isaac could reel it in and take it off.  Isaac held it for a minute and then didn't want to hold it any longer.  The little boy said he would hold it and make it look like it was Isaac.  Funny because we didn't think of the different color arm.  I just said too bad the sleeve of his shirt showed.    Got to take to the boy in the green about believing in Jesus!

6/27/17...Kimmy and the boys came, Kimmy put grommets in our Clam so we could have an awning, She also brought toggles to put on the flaps to make it easy to do....Jacob and Eli spent the night with us...We had so much fun

Kimmy did a great job putting grommets in our clam so we could have a canopy

She also brought toggles and we put them on.  It makes rolling up the flaps so much easier and looks so much nicer!  Thank you Kimmy

Eli doing a fantastic trick

Love this pic of Eli on the stump

Jacob and Isaac fishing.  Jacob caught lots of fish in the evening

Jacob playing frisbee with the kids next door.  His frisbee got broke though which made him sad.

Jacob, Eli, Isaac and Peyton eating cookies and milk after we ate burgers for dinner

Eli and Peyton in front of the store on our way to the playground

Jacob roasted us some amazing marshmallows.  His are the best!

These are some amazing grandkids!  They are so sweet and well behaved!

Kimmy came with the boys.  She put grommets in our screen tent and then we sewed toggles on our
Clam for the flaps to be rolled up.  We ran out of upholstery thread so couldn't sew all of them on.  Vikki went all over to look for thread, but didn't find any.  A lady she talked to is supposed to give us some tomorrow though.  Kimmy and Adam are coming back tomorrow so we will finish then.  What an amazing help these girls are.  Adam wasn't feeling too good when he got here, but did better after he had his medicine.  Sure am praying for him.  We ate sandwiches and then went swimming and spent a lot of time in the pool.  It started raining for a little while when we were in the hot tub.  Then the sun came out again and it was warm and nice.  I took the kids to the store and they all picked out ice cream for a treat.  We sat in the screen tent and played 21 and 15, two games Jacob learned at camp.  We had lots of fun playing them and got lots of laughs.  Jacob and Eli spent the night.  Kimmy and Adam left for home.  Adam wasn't sure if he wanted to stay with us or go home, but then he picked to go with Kimmy. Vikki made burgers on the grill and we ate those and some cheesy potatoes.  We all had cookies and milk afterward.  Jacob and Isaac went fishing again and Eli and Peyton went to the park with Vikki and I.  The fish were really biting and Jacob was so happy.   We had a campfire and made amores that were yummy.  Jacob roasted his marshmallow perfectly.  Jacob played 3-13 and dice with us.  He sure picked up the game 3-13 fast!  He is so much fun!We got a nice compliment from our neighbors in the campground.  She said she could sense great peace whenever she looked over here.  She is a Christian and is very nice.  Proud of my grandkids parents for raising them so well and proud of my grandkids for being so respectful and nice.
