Total solar eclipse today.  We watched it through the glasses Melissa had with her.  It was amazing and so much fun.  It wasn't total here, but was awesome.  What an awesome God we have!

Got up and went to Kimmy's.  Kimmy, Adam, Eli and I played a game of tonk.  Adam is really good at it.  We had fun.  Kimmy and I drank our coffee and went for a walk with the boys while we waited for Vikki and the Kids and Melissa to get up.  It was a beautiful out.  After Vikki and Melissa got up, we all went for a walk.  Went for a bike ride and also swam.  Sat by the campfire and listened to Bill tell stories and jokes. He was so funny.  Told the Christian bear joke to the kids.

8/20/17 We came home for church and then went out to eat. Got back up north and Vikki had the tent on her lot for Melissa. Melissa and Bruce got there and then Kimmy and Jared came right around the same time. How fun to have almost the whole family there. Kenzie couldn't come but the rest of us were there.

We came home for church. After church, we went to Applebees with Dennis.  Lots of people from church were there.  We came home and changed and headed back up to the campground.  Vikki had the tent set up on Kimmy's site.  Melissa, Kimmy and their families got there around the same time.
We were swimming when they got there.  It was pretty hot out.  We went for another swim, went for  a walk and a bike ride.  Sat around the campfire and Melissa gave all the kids glow pops she had picked up for them.  The kids were all so happy.  What a sweet and thoughtful person she is.

8/18/17....rained lightly for a while. Vikki did our laundry...Went down to take a shower. Went for a walk and took the kids to the store.

Got up early to take a shower.  The kids were ready to get up when I got back.  We ate breakfast then went for a walk and stopped at the store.  We went to see Miss Shirley after that.  We walked some more and then came back to the camper. We went to Northwoods and then to the thrift store, to Shopco, the dollar store, and to Family Fare.  Went for another walk, and stopped at the pavilion for a baby cone.  The kids had a smore too because they had a campfire there for everyone to come make one, The kids were so happy.  Bill came back up and we were happy to see him.  Went to the adult swim, played cards and dice and went to bed

Went for a walk around the campground while the kids rode their bikes.  I kept up pretty well.  It started raining so we let Lenny in the camper and watched a movie about a sheepdog named Mist.  We watched Cars movie too.  We ate lunch and then Isaac and I played dice.  When it stopped raining we went golfing.  Came back and cooked chicken, corn and baked potatoes.  Vikki came back from her job thing she had to go to.  She loved it and had a great time and a good lunch.  She was excited she got this job at the township schools. We ate and then went swimming in the outdoor pool, but it started raining so we went in the hot tub before it started raining hard.  Then we went to the indoor pool.  Got lots of exercise and had lots of fun!
