Drove from the campground to Alpena.  Went to Presque Isle and the light house.  We had our picnic lunch we packed at a picnic table across the road from Lake Huron.  When we were done, we looked for Petosky Stones, fossils and rocks in Lake Huron.  Found some nice ones. It was hard walking on all those rocks.  I was in the water walking and saw a Northern Michigan Water Snake. Yikes!  Lots of little spiders on the rocky shore.  It was super hot out so we decided to head back and Stop in Oscoda for a roadside swim.  Lots of waves today.  We came back and had new neighbors pull in.  We always pray for the neighbors we get.  Well Vicki and Eric Kowalewski and there three sweet girls parked next to us.  While they were setting up, we put our rocks in water and looked them all over.  So much fun.  Vicki and Eric have to work for the next two days, so the kids stayed here with their grandparents.  Vikki and I played 3-13.  She was the winner, but I got a pat hand, winning hand on the ace round.  I won at dice when I threw five ones and got two thousand points.  We talked to Melissa a few times, and also talked to Kimmy.  Texted With Bill and Adam.  Jacob, Adam and Papa worked hard oh the hot sun on our deck bottom.  It looks great!  So thankful they helped Bill so much doing all that bending and crawling.  Adam said they got four swims in today and said they had fun.  He beat papa at chess!  I love my precious family!

Day 111, 7/5/2020..Hoed garden, went to church, swam, came back to campground, walked around campground

So many campers left, it is almost like we are lakeside campers lol
The corn is about as tall as Isaac and Peyton now.  I was amazed at how fast it grew in one week.  It was just an inch past my knee a week ago.
Got up at 7 and hoed the garden.  Lots of weeds from being gone.  It looked nice when I got done.  Made oriole food and filled the feeders.  Went to prayer outside at church and then went in for our service.  Good message and amazing worship.  Came home and ate. Rody brought Vikki and the kids over.  We swam before we headed back to the campground.  Vikki took a picture of the kids by the corn.   Wow our corn is as tall and some taller than Peyton and Isaac  We talked to Melissa all the way to Pinconning.  Checked Northwoods to see if they had goggles for her boys, but they didn’t.  We made spaghetti for dinner.  Peyton and I walked Lucy around the campground.  Vikki and Isaac went to get ice and ended up having to go to Pinconning.  We need it for our trip to Alpena tomorrow.  Played 3-13. I was the winner! Tied at Dice. Played where you just count your first throw and that's your only turn.

Read my Bible.  Got everyone up to go for our morning swim.  No one was in the pool.  It was so nice.  We came back and relaxed in the sun for a while afterward. We made brunch (eggs, bacon, ham, hash browns, and toast) and ate.   Isaac surprised his mom and went to the store with his face mask on and bought an air mattress for the pond.  He got me and Peyton one too.  They were Intex for $5.  So sweet of him.  We all went to the pond then to swim and relax on our air matresses.  We finally could get some sun on our back sides.  Talked to Melissa for a while on the phone.  We came back, and decided to go home for the 4th and for church tomorrow.  We packed up some stuff and then ate lunch and we all headed home in my car.  We swam when we got to my house.  Bill came in too.  It is so nice and the deck is beautiful.  Vikki and I moved the lounger chairs up on the deck.  The water was warm and nice.  We stayed in quite a while.  Rody came to pick up Vikki and the kids and take them home.  I watered plants outside.  They were super dry.  Did laundry to get it caught up.

I got breakfast ready for me and the twins. Let Vikki sleep in because she was up very late.  I walked Lucy and then read my Bible and prayed.  We went for our 10 a.m. swim.  So nice!!!  Relaxed at campsite. Vikki grilled hotdogs for lunch.  We swam at the beach.  Super hot out.  Air worked fine today!  Isaac went fishing for a long time.  Made spaghetti for dinner.  Max dug a hole and Bill and Bruce put the post in and got the solar cover so it could easily be moved off the pool by one person.  It looks very nice.  Bill worked on the bottom of the pool deck too.  He’s doing such a nice job!  Our campers at the Schaard Campground went back home. Sure will miss the pictures and miss hearing about their day.  Bill will really miss them. Watched the 4th of July Golf cart parade, walked all around the camper and then sat outside our camper under the awning and watched the fireworks.  Talked to Melissa a couple of times!

Jacob made his bed up right away without being asked when he got up. Adam slept in the loft.  I read some Scripture to the boys in Romans 12, then gave them a scripture for the day:  Do not overcome evil with evil, but overcome evil with good! I went to get some groceries and Vikki and the boys went for a walk around the campground.  Got home and Vikki and the boys were playing 3-13.  The boys stopped right away and went out and got all the groceries and hauled them in and put the pop and water bottles in the outside refrigerator.  Kimmy, Eli, Peyton and Isaac came up.  We sat visiting for a while, trying to figure out why the air wasn’t very cold in the camper.  We went and swam in pond for a while to cool down.  It was fun watching the kids play.  We had drumsticks/ice cream sandwiches.  We talked on speaker phone to Melissa, and she said Bill and Bruce got the solar reel on the pool.  Bill sent me a picture and it looks so nice! Will sure love that!  Kimmy and the boys left.  I cooked up some burger to make spaghetti tomorrow night.  The circuit breaker kept blowing so we went to reset it and the guy next door told us we are plugged into 30 and our size camper needs 50.  Vikki said there was another plug, so we put one extension cord in one side and another in the other side.  Yay!  We could cook and the air started working right.  Vikki wanted to move the clam, so we worked on getting it in the right spot we wanted.  Took Vikki three times of pulling and putting stakes back in, but we love where it is now. Played 3-13 and she beat me but not by much.  I love my family!
