Friday, 4/8/22, Took Bedspread set we got in March back and got new one, Went to Costco, took a load to thrift store, Got together with Dennis, Amy and other Dennis,

Amy, Dennis, Bill and Dennis
We returned our bedspread we just got because it was so wrinkled  and they wouldn't come out.  Saw this one on line 2 days ago and ordered it.  It looks so nice!  We didn't get it made til 11:30, so didn't take a picture of it on our bed yet, because we didn't put the pillows on it.

Bill went to have coffee with Charlie.  All Tim Horton dining rooms are closed because they can't get enough help.  They went to Creation Coffee instead.  I shampooed some carpet where some drips from something were.  I fed the birds and looked out a little later and saw a squirrel under the feeder with lots of birds.  The squirrel tried to get on the feeder and must have tipped it just right so one whole section of food was on the ground.  It rained again today lots.  Can't wait for sunny days to come.

When Bill got home, we read our Bibles.  Played amazing worship music this morning. We packed up the bedspread set we had gotten in March, and returned it.  Then we dropped off the set we had before that to the Thrift store, then went to Costco to get some stuff that was on sale.  Stopped at Pat's to get some hot fudge, whipped cream and cherries for our hot fudge brownie cakes I'm making for tonight's dessert.

At 5:30, we met Dennis, Amy and Dennis W. at Applebees.  We ate appetizers and some of our dinner, but Amy and I brought lots of ours home as we were full from the appetizers.
They came to our house afterwards and we visited, then played two games of 3-13.  Bill won the first game and I won the second game.  The second game we played a different way.  We counted the cards as either 5 or 10 pts. and added the points in everyone's hand to the person who went out.  Highest score won.  It was fun playing it that way once.  Poor Dennis W. had zero the whole game.  I had 350 points.  Amy and I made the hot fudge brownie cakes up.  Dennis W. wanted blueberry pie instead.  Amy's hubby, Dennis, tried the blueberry pie after the hot fudge brownie cake.  They sure loved my pie and gave me lots of compliments, even saying it was better than Traverse City Pie Company.  They loved the pie crust too, so I shared about it being Lela's recipe and gave it to Amy.  I love this recipe because it is so easy and so good.  They both wanted another piece of pie, so the pie from yesterday disappeared.

After they left, Bill opened the box the bedspread was shipped in and we made up the bed.
It is so much nicer than the other wrinkled one.  It is machine washable and can go in the dryer which is a must.  I did my texting with Adam and talked and FaceTimed with Vikki.

Thurs. 4/7/22, Marie and Roy stopped over, Went with Melissa to Tony's, then her house.

Evan with the border of the puzzle done and some inside pieces.  Pieces are sorted ...eyes, mouth pieces, etc.  Let the real fun begin!

Evan next to me....I found the piece I am pointing at.  Very hard puzzle!  Have fun Melissa, Evan and whoever helps with it

Got up early to do my Bible reading, praying and worship.  Made oatmeal and had my coffee afterwards.  I made a blueberry pie.   Bill just had coffee.  He went to pick up some coffee, diet pop and ice cream in town.  I cleaned the rest of the house.  Roy stopped over after her doctor appointment.  She got a good report and her blood work was amazing he said.  We visited, drank coffee/tea and had homemade blueberry pie.

In the evening, I picked up Melissa and we picked up Tony's hamburgers and fries, then went and got and ice tea for me and a Frappe for her.  We sat and visited in the parking lot and she showed me Hailey's prom dress and also had me look at Hailey's graduation invitation choices.  I liked the one they picked.  We went back to Melissa's and I went in and saw the boys and Bruce.  I found one piece to the hard puzzle Bill got for them.  Kimmy, Jared and the boys put this puzzle together and said it was hard.  I help with a couple pieces when they were doing it.  It's not one I want to put together.

I picked up an egg salad sandwich for Bill and chicken noodle soup from Souper Cafe.  Kevin and Joan were there, so I talked to them for a while.

Came home and talked to Vikki. Texted with Adam in the morning and evening.  Sent Debbie her Scripture for the day and texted a few minutes with her.

Wed., 4/6/22 Rainy, gloomy, wet day 45 degrees, cleaned part of the house

The Flicker was back today and is way bigger than the suet feeder he is on

I only took this picture today.  Too rainy to go outside.  We ate breakfast and had our coffee. Read our Bibles and prayed.  Sure am praying for the people in the Ukraine. People we know are there risking their own lives to help people there.  Great examples of Jesus!  I feel so bad for everyone in that country experiencing such awful things.  Thankful for people who are there to help them and for all who are here praying for them.

Bill went with Charlie to have coffee.  I cleaned some of the house while he was gone.  He picked up some things at the store I needed and also brought me a Tim Horton blueberry muffin home.  Yum!

We got a burger and water at Culvers.  Went to the movie theater to see "A Case for Heaven".  Air One gave us a code to get free tickets for donating to their station.  It was such a great documentary and so moving.  We enjoyed our popcorn and pop during the movie.  Fun date night!

Vikki sent me this cute picture of Isaac in his suit at their house without a mask on.  He's so cute and sure loves that custom fit suit.  Talked with Melissa, Kimmy and Vikki today.  Texted with Adam and Maddy.

Tues., 4/5/22, Went to get taxes done, went to breakfast, went shopping, put metal bluebird hole pieces on bird houses, cleaned closet shelf

Bill putting metal bluebird hole covers on

This kleenex box looks pretty in the holder Wes made me. Love that it's see through.
So many brought Hope Totes into church on Sunday for the Rescue Mission  I love doing this!
Eli on his new English Saddle.  Glad they sent the other one back.  This one is so much nicer!
Eli with the sword Traviis gave him.  It was really rusty and he cleaned it up.   Pictures courtesy of my Kimmy

Bill took the garbage out, while I played with Kit Kat in the house and fed her soft food.  We went to get our taxes done, then went to breakfast at Nori's afterward.  They always have delicious breakfasts.  I brought two pieces of ham home, because breakfast was so big.  We drove separate because I needed to go get some cards, got to Hobby Lobby and also to Aldi.
I was happy to get birdseed pretty cheap at Aldi.  Picked up two bags and let the girls and Lela know about it.  They don't have birdseed there too often.  I picked up Easter candy for baskets and the Easter egg hunt today.   It's a little disappointing that they don't have more about the true meaning of Easter, but I did find scripture jelly beans, chocolate crosses and some lamb chocolates.  I used to find eggs with pictures of Jesus or Doves on them filled with candy, but couldn't get any this year.  I did find some "He is Risen" plates for desserts to go on for Easter.   Candy prices sure did rise along with everything else.

When I got home, Bill started putting the metal plates with bluebird size holes on all of the birdhouses, whether they small holes, or holes that have been enlarged.  I was his assistant an handed him what he needed when he needed it.  It was super muddy from yesterday's in a few of the spots where the bird houses were.  They sure look better and now we will hopefully get some bluebirds.

I cleaned the closet shelves in our closet.  They were starting to look messy.  They look much better now.

I talked to Melissa, Vikki and Kimmy and Kenzie. Oh, Evan got on the phone and talked to me too, and Kimmy's boys talked on speaker phone.  Texted with Adam and Hailey.

Bill and I relaxed in the evening and snacked on an orange and some nuts. I read my Bible because I was gone so much today.  He had already got his reading done, so he read on his book.  Wow when you read Revelation it sure makes you see that churches (God's people) need to be reading the Word and doing what it says.  Lots in there about doing what Jesus says and repenting of what we do that is against what Jesus says.  His Word is really clear, so no excuses for anyone!  Pastor gave a sermon last week about the line drawn in the sand. With the line, you are either on one side or the other.  You can't be on the line.  You are either for Jesus or against Him.  You either do what He says or you don't.  Wow what a message that was!  So true and so needed!

Isaac was excited all day, because he knew his Uncle Jay was taking him to pick out a sports jacket.  He told Vikki that's all he thought about all day.  His uncle also got him the pants.  Isaac sure looks handsome in them.  He sure was happy.  I can't wait til he wears them to church!

Monday, 4/4/22, Walked 2 miles, Kit Kat caught her first mouse, Went to Trinity Riders meeting

Ha Ha this is so me!!!

Kit Kat caught her first mouse today.  Good Kitty!

Evan with the puzzle papa gave them to put together.   Kimmy, Jared and the boys put this puzzle together and it was hard.  I helped them with two pieces which took a long time to find.
A robin eating out of the mealworm dish I put on the table to keep it out of the rain.
Nice big woodpecker in the tree, then on the feeder in the picture below

Another visitor who sat there for a very long time
Shannon sent me a sweet text telling me they brought a new house and also sent pictures!  I am so excited for them

I went down to the basement and did my 2 mile walk while listening to great worship music.
Bill met Charlie for coffee at Tim Hortons.  I had my oatmeal and coffee and had my prayer time.  Reading in Revelation now for my Bible time.  My new Bible has a great commentary which is very helpful.  Bill brought a muffin home for me.  Yum!  We got together everything we need for doing taxes tomorrow.  I talked to Melissa a few times today.

It rained the whole day and was very dreary out.  Went to Trinity Rider's meeting tonight.  It was a really good meeting with a good message from the Chaplain.  We came home and Bill hauled pellets in, I played with Kit Kat a little, and then we relaxed in our recliners.  I talked to Kimmy and Vikki.  Kimmy took pictures of slides they got from Jared's mom.  It is just amazing how good the pictures turned out and how clear.  I loved seeing them.  Below are a few.

Sunday, 4/3/22, Went to church, Max came over,

Papa and Max hauling wood.  Max wanted to surprise his dad and bring some home for him
Max likes driving the tractor and is good at it
Loading the wood in the truck
Max and I with Kit Kat...he makes me look short now too!
Max saw inside our camper for the first time today.

Went to prayer before church.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac sat by us until Teachers and kids were dismissed for Kids Church.  Vikki was back with the kids and Rody was working in the Tech Room today.  It was a great message today.  After church we picked up Max.  I gave him his choice of where to sit and he picked the front seat of the truck with a smile.  We took him to get a Shamrock Shake and I got my free Frappe'.  Max and I got a good laugh as Papa ordered for us and asked for a Crappe' (he clarified 3 times too lol).  Melissa got a good laugh when I told her too.  Max picked Taco Bell for our food, so we picked up tacos and nacho's from there and also got 2 free senior drinks.  We brought the food home and ate here.  Max had told us he had two Shamrock Shakes the other day and threw up.  Well after he was done with his shake and almost done with his food, he told me he didn't feel well.  Papa told him to go outside and walk around.  I gave him a sturdy plastic bag and he threw up, came in the garage and put the bag in the trash, washed up, and then was back to normal.  Must be something about those shakes and him.  We talked, looked at pictures of our Yellowstone trip and reminisced, played with Kit Kat, and then he asked if they could go outside and load wood.  He wanted to take some home to surprise his dad.  I let Papa and him have some guy time and I took a few pictures.  Max hadn't seen inside the camper yet, so we took him on a tour.  He loved it and can't wait to go camping with us sometime.  After we were out there for a while, papa took him home and they unloaded the wood there.  We sure had fun with him and we all said we need to do it again soon.  He sure gave me a good hug before he left.  I sure love that kiddo.  I love all of my kiddos!  They are blessings and gifts from the Lord.  Bill went to Sam's Club and got some protein drinks.

Evan with the puzzle he and his mom finished

After the Sandusky Chapter meeting, Bill and I went to look at the Noah's Ark property that was left to BayShore

Me in front of the chapel

Very old bridge I wouldn't trust crossing

We got up early to go to Sandusky to the Bikers Across the Thumb breakfast and meeting.  There were only 9 of us there because lots are out of town. Breakfast was good and the meeting went well.  We went to check out the Noah's Ark property after that and enjoyed walking around it.  Such a  blessing to BayShore.  We went to BayShore next and saw they have started the hiking trail through the woods.  It looks very nice.  We checked out the park in town too, to see if we want to hold next years block party there.  Bill has to make lots of decisions.  We stopped at McDonalds and I got an ice tea and he got a free smoothie.  We both got a small fry.  We stopped at Sam's Club and he put gas in my car.  Then he was sweet and took it through a car wash for me.  Kimmy let me know when they were almost in Michigan.  Adam let me know when they were home.  Jacob's lesson was cancelled, but Adam was able to pick up his guitar so that was nice.  Talked to Melissa, Vikki and Kimmy. Left Kit Cat outside most of the day.   It rained in the evening, which we don't need right now because everything is so wet.
