Friday, 4/8/22, Took Bedspread set we got in March back and got new one, Went to Costco, took a load to thrift store, Got together with Dennis, Amy and other Dennis,

Amy, Dennis, Bill and Dennis
We returned our bedspread we just got because it was so wrinkled  and they wouldn't come out.  Saw this one on line 2 days ago and ordered it.  It looks so nice!  We didn't get it made til 11:30, so didn't take a picture of it on our bed yet, because we didn't put the pillows on it.

Bill went to have coffee with Charlie.  All Tim Horton dining rooms are closed because they can't get enough help.  They went to Creation Coffee instead.  I shampooed some carpet where some drips from something were.  I fed the birds and looked out a little later and saw a squirrel under the feeder with lots of birds.  The squirrel tried to get on the feeder and must have tipped it just right so one whole section of food was on the ground.  It rained again today lots.  Can't wait for sunny days to come.

When Bill got home, we read our Bibles.  Played amazing worship music this morning. We packed up the bedspread set we had gotten in March, and returned it.  Then we dropped off the set we had before that to the Thrift store, then went to Costco to get some stuff that was on sale.  Stopped at Pat's to get some hot fudge, whipped cream and cherries for our hot fudge brownie cakes I'm making for tonight's dessert.

At 5:30, we met Dennis, Amy and Dennis W. at Applebees.  We ate appetizers and some of our dinner, but Amy and I brought lots of ours home as we were full from the appetizers.
They came to our house afterwards and we visited, then played two games of 3-13.  Bill won the first game and I won the second game.  The second game we played a different way.  We counted the cards as either 5 or 10 pts. and added the points in everyone's hand to the person who went out.  Highest score won.  It was fun playing it that way once.  Poor Dennis W. had zero the whole game.  I had 350 points.  Amy and I made the hot fudge brownie cakes up.  Dennis W. wanted blueberry pie instead.  Amy's hubby, Dennis, tried the blueberry pie after the hot fudge brownie cake.  They sure loved my pie and gave me lots of compliments, even saying it was better than Traverse City Pie Company.  They loved the pie crust too, so I shared about it being Lela's recipe and gave it to Amy.  I love this recipe because it is so easy and so good.  They both wanted another piece of pie, so the pie from yesterday disappeared.

After they left, Bill opened the box the bedspread was shipped in and we made up the bed.
It is so much nicer than the other wrinkled one.  It is machine washable and can go in the dryer which is a must.  I did my texting with Adam and talked and FaceTimed with Vikki.
