We got up and had our breakfast and devotion, and then went and relaxed and read by the pool.  Went to the City Pier and walked out and around the building.  Talked to some guys fishing and catching some nice fish called shepherd.  Got really close to a pelican, but the guy next to us said he could get mean.  He tried to peck at him.  Joel got pretty close, but after hearing that didn't want to go closer.  When we got around the corner of the building, we saw three dolphins swimming.  Tried to get a picture, but they went so fast, they were up by the beach next time we found them.  We went on the dock and they swam right under us.  So fun to watch.  We walked through a little shopping section and made our way to the Donut Experience.  We love that place!  Bill got a couple of glazed with sugar donuts and I got a chocolate with candy bar on it. They make them as you order, dip them and they are warm and yummy when you eat them.  We came back and got in the pool and had a nice swim.  Sat in the sun for 15 minutes on front and back and then it was so hot, I moved to the shade.
It was nice and cool in the shade so I got in a little nap.  After that we started getting stuff ready for our cookout.   Face timed Vikki and the kids.  Showed Isaac around where we are staying and also the ocean as he wasn't there when I showed Peyton.  Sure was happy to talk to them.  I also talked to Jacob, Adam and Eli and was happy to hear their voices.  Tomorrow I will be calling Hailey, Max, Jack and Evan.  Talked to Earl and Mary Tack stopped in to visit with another couple, but didn't stay too long. Everyone got there and we visited and then Wes and Bill grilled hamburgs on the grill.  We put potato salad, watermelon, chips, dip, veggies, on the table inside and then went outside to eat. We had ice cream and fresh strawberries for dessert.  We went and watched the sunset and then came back and played cards.  Bill won and I came in second.  He beat me by 2 points.

3/9/17...Sad day today because Norman passed away. Sure will miss this special and loved dog! Spent most of the day in our swim suits at the beach and around the pool. Very nice day in the 80's

So sad today!  Kimmy, Jared and the boy's great dog Norman passed away.  I saw the text in the morning and cried.  Loved this dog.  He was one of the best ever!  Praying for my sweet family!

Joel relaxing on the beach

Bill and I under our sportsbrella! Sure glad we have it!

We watched a dolphin in the gulf by our beech house.  It's pretty close to the people that are in the water.

There's a dolphin in these two beach pictures, but just a tiny bit of it shows.  It's in the middle of this picture.
Gayla and Wes enjoying the pool

So happy Joel can enjoy the pool.

Joel and his two therapists, Wes and Bill

Took this nice picture of Joel from the other side of the pool

Bill in his shirt he says the girls and I got him over 20 years ago!  Looks like one he would pick out, not us.  I don't really remember who got it, just remember the shirt.

This is the back of it.  My Billy Baby!!!

He wanted me to take one of him standing so his sweet daughters could read it better!

Wes and Bill decided to raise the glass on our table by using suction cup handles and putting little pieces of plastic under by the edge.  Now when we play cards, our cards won't catch on the edge.  It was Wes's idea, Bill is his engineer and I thought of the plastic from some chairs outside that are wearing out.  The plastic is the size they need on the edge.

They blew the leaves away around the pool today

Tonight's sunset

Today, we hung out at the beach and the pool the whole day.  We set up our Sports Brellas and took our chairs and the other stuff we needed.  What a beautiful day it was.  We even saw a dolphin jumping out in the water by us.  We put our feet in the water, but it was pretty cold so we didn't swim.  We came back to our pool and swam here.  Soooooo nice!  Thought about Kimmy and family all day and prayed for them lots.  We went back to the beach and sat there for a while and then brought our stuff back.  Two girls were laying in their hammock at the park area when we came by.  I talked to them a few minutes and told them I should have brought mine with me.  Lots of good trees to hang it from.  I will put it on my list for the next time we come. The guys grilled chicken on the grill (Bill grilled his and mine longer till it was how we like it! Yum)  I made baked potatoes and Gayla made a salad. We also had watermelon that I had cut up earlier.  It was a great meal with great friends.  We went over and just sat on a picnic table by the beach to watch the sunset tonight.  We could still hear the music great from where we were.  We came back and watched the movie, "Do You Believe" and had carmel corn that Wes had got from the Red Barn.

3/8/17....Went to Turner's Donuts, then to the Red Barn..

We picked up huge donuts at Turner's and took them to the Red Barn and had them with coffee there. Ronny joined us as he was in town getting something to fix his motorhome

This is our starting point at the Red Barn.  This place is huge with lots of good deals.  I picked out a genuine leather small purse for the motorcycle, a carrier for my phone when I walk, and a necklace chain for Bill to give me for my birthday!

Gayla enjoying the pool

Me relaxing in the shade.  Wes and Gayla across on the other side relaxing.

Bill, Joel, Gayla and Wes at Anna Maria Island Cafe next door to us.  We had their fish dinner!

Gayla took this picture and didn't realize the girls were photo bombing us.  I laughed when I looked at her pictures.  Silly Girls!

Me and Bill in our Retake.  Sure do love this sweetie the Lord blessed me with!

It was a beautiful sunset tonight

Gorgeous

Love how the clouds made lines over the sun

Sure goes fast after it gets this low
Got up and read my Bible out by the pool and listened to worship music.  Had our morning coffee
and then we went to Turner Donuts to pick up yummy big donuts.  I could only eat one, but Bill had two.  Ronnie met us there and he had French Toast instead of a donut.  Bill and I walked around together and Wes, Gayla and Joel went together.  Bill got some sunglasses and I did too, plus the stuff I picked out for my birthday.   We met up later and got fresh vegetables at the Red Barn Market outdoors.  We also went to Cocana Beach and walked around looking at what all the vendors had for sale.  We didn't buy anything except some dip mix. One guy was selling it.  He was nice and even gave me a second cup of pretzels to try the dips he had out.  The ones I tried were delicious.  After Bill had sampled a few of them, he mentioned there was cream cheese and sour cream mixed with the dip mixes.  Bill was done after that and asked me if I had a mint.  I didn't but Gayla had gum so he was happy. We came back and I had a sandwich.  Bill was still full from the donuts so he didn't eat.  We swam a couple of times and laid by the pool.  Met some nice people staying here and talked to them for a while.  Later went for a fish dinner next door and listened to the music.  They had seven people playing instruments tonight.  One lady could really play the coronet well.  The sunset was beautiful.  We came back and played 3-13 and Horsecollar.  It was my night as I won both games.  Watched some TV and visited.
