He sure was blessed!

Vikki and I packed up everything and even emptied the freezers and refrigerators, so I could take the food home, since tomorrow we have to drop the camper off to have some repairs done, they didn’t get right last year.
Our cars were sure loaded down on the way home ha ha.

I got home and Bill had the deck steps done.  It sure looks nice.  He told me TV5 was coming to interview him in an hour.  I quick got ready and he told me they needed pictures of when he was in the service.  I told him I sent all the pictures (even the one on the wall) with Debbie to where they are having the ceremony tonight.  Bill had pictures on his phone, but couldn’t  print them from his phone, so sent them to mine.  Ran two off, but then TV5 people got here.  Bill did great on his interview.  The Newspeople were really nice.  After they left, we got ready and headed to Frankenmuth.  The ceremony was amazing and I was so happy to see Bill honored with his diploma from Frankenmuth High School.  I loved how they had all the veterans there go up with Bill and salute him.  It was so nice that so many came out to the ceremony and to G’s Pizza afterward.  Everything was perfect!  I am so thankful for how God has always watched over Bill and has given him good success even though he didn’t graduate.  He blessed him with being on Salary at General Motors, Elder at church, Chaplain at Hospice, Chaplain of Trinity Riders and Faith Riders, President of Faith Riders and Commandant of the Marine Corp. League. Thankful that he chooses to follow Jesus!  It was so nice to see his dream come true tonight.  I am very thankful for Vikki starting the process for this to happen, and to Debbie for organizing everything and doing an amazing job in Frankenmuth.  She had all the right contacts.  What a wonderful day for Bill and all of us.  Sure do love him!

We left to come home for church.  The worship was amazing and the message was great.  Prayed with people afterward.  We came home and changed and met Faith Riders at Meijer’s and went on a mystery park ride.  We passed a few nice parks in Chesaning, St Charles, and had a nice ride.  Then we ended up at the park in Shields and we ate our packed lunches there under the pavilion.  So much fun and great fellowship.  After that, we came home and Bill worked on the pool deck while I went back up to the campground.  Vikki, the kids and I went swimming, and walked around the campground.  Vikki and I played 3-13 and had fun.  We laugh til we cry some nights, and have so much fun together.

Sat.,7/6/19...Kimmy and family came up, Vikki and family were here, Melissa and family had a reunion so couldn't make it. Great 4th of July celebration.

Got up and got things ready for our 4th of July celebration today.  Peeled and cut up potatoes ahead of time, so when Kimmy and family got here we could just have fun.  Vikki, Rody, Peyton, Isaac, Kimmy, Jared, Jacob, Adam and Eli were all here at the Wilderness campground for the day.  We went on walks, bike rides, went swimming and had a good cookout.  Melissa and her family had a family reunion in Muskegon to go to, so couldn’t come this year.  In the evening, we went to watch the fireworks at the campground in Standish.  They were great.  What a fun day with family.  I love my family!

Isaac was trying to get a picture of those two little dogs in the background.  He loves his camera on his phone.  We got up early and went on a walk while Vikki and Peyton slept in.

We stayed pretty dry
This is their hayride....We didn't get to go on it.  Didn't see it going every day like at the other campground

After we got up, I went to the camp store to extend our stay because the lady from OAI had called last week to say there was a cancellation, so we could extend to the 9th.  She told me to go down to the store on the third and tell them.  When I told her, she said the cancellation was for Wilderness Campground.  I had told them I didn’t want to go to that one when they asked me when I originally scheduled our Stay.  I asked to be put on the Standish waiting list.  Well somehow they mixed it up,  She said we had to be out at noon, and when I told her Bill wasn’t even here to move us, she said they would move us to storage then.  I got a hold of Bill who had Jack and Max with him, and he headed up right away.  Vikki and Isaac were amazing helpers getting everything packed up outside, and then helping me take the Clam down.  Hailey, Max, Jack and Peyton helped lots too.  I worked on the inside and the helped outside.  It was amazing how fast we packed everything up.  Bill came up and finished wheat he needed to do and we moved to Wilderness!  It’s a beautiful wooded campground and we love our spot.  No indoor pool, pond to fish in or putt putt, but lots of places to walk and ride bikes.  Everybody helped get things set up and the wood stacked.  Hailey decided to go back with them.  I was going to take her back in the morning, so workout good that Bill took her.  She got to go to the Frankenmuth fireworks with her family and Papa.  Vikki, the kids and I went swimming, explored the campground, got ice cream and hung out in our hammocks.
We went into town so I could send the newsletter out as we have no wi-fi at our campground.  We played 3-13.  Vikki beat me bad.
