Doug, Alyssa and their family came to BayShore for the day.  They got here at 8:30 a.m.

We all went to our morning classes.  Micah and Lucy didn’t want to stay in their classes, but did fine after we left and had fun!  Vikki watched the kids while we showed Doug and Alyssa around the campground.  We ate lunch afterward.  We all went swimming while Alyssa and her friend ran the 5 K race.  Vikki and I watched the youngest kids while Bill, Alyssa, Doug and Elijah went putt putt golfing.  We ate chicken dinners at the dining hall and then went to the evening service.  I worked in the nursery.  Such sweet babies!  Doug and Alyssa ‘s kids all fell asleep in church.  They left after service.  Melissa came over and Vikki read the love language test to us and we answered.  Got to bed really late and then couldn’t fall asleep.  Glad that doesn’t happen often.  What a blessing to spend time with this family.  Doug was in Afghanistan and was a gunner when a suicide bomber attacked.  He is a miracle soldier for sure and has gone through so much.  God has blessed him with a beautiful family and now they are starting a ministry called "Miracle Soldier".  He has a heart to share what the Lord has done for him with others to help them and give them hope.

Went to our classes.  Both were very good.  Had cookies and coffee in between like we always do.  Went to the adult swim. It was hot out so the water was great!  Relaxed with Melissa at our campsite.  Nice being poolside.  We walked out on Roberta’s walk.  Nice that the water in Lake Huron is coming in closer!  Ate and then went to the evening service!  Loved the worship and the service.  Had ice cream afterward. to our classes.  Both were very good.  Had cookies and coffee in between like we always do.  Went to the adult swim. Hot humid day at BayShore.  Got up and read my Bible and devotions.  

Hailey and Mia came to get the air mattress that goes to the one Hailey has.  It will be higher for her now.  We all went to Sunday school at 9:30, then church at 10:45.  Melissa helped Tasha teach the three year olds.  We ate cabbage rolls and hickory stick for lunch.  Bill and I went to the adult swim.  There were only four of us in the pool.  So nice!  We saw Bruce and Melissa walking to our camper. We let them know we were done swimming and we’re heading back.  We are camping right by the pool this year which is nice and handy.  Bill, Vikki, Melissa and I hung outside of our camper until rest time was over.  Vikki, Melissa and I went swimming with Peyton and Isaac.  The boys and Hailey were putt putting with Bruce and the Mulders.  They came swimming afterward.  Bruce had a meeting to go to so didn’t swim.  The kids had fun playing carpetball again.  Peyton and Isaac rode the train.  Bill made hamburgers on the grill for dinner!  The evening worship and service were great.  Had ice cream in the dining hall and played 3-13. I was the big loser.  Bill beat Vikki by six points!  I love coming to BayShore!

Got up early and got last minute things packed.  Dad had to work on one of the jacks before we left, so it was 9:20 when we left for BayShore Family Camp.  Stopped at Tim Hortons in Bay City on our way for a breakfast sandwich and donuts.  We had our coffee from home so got it to go.  Set up at BayShore.  Melissa and Bruce pulled in near us with their camper.  Vikki and the twins go here right after.  We all hung out in our camper while Bruce set there’s up.  Vikki, Peyton, Isaac and I went swimming because it was super hot out.  Melissa has a teacher meeting because she is helping teach 3 yr. olds.  Mia and Hailey came over because Hailey told her we were having cabbage buns.  Mia remembered them from last year, so was very excited about eating one.  She and Hailey each had 2.  Melissa liked them lots too.  They made me so happy.  Went to the tabernacle for worship and a teaching.  Both were great!  Had ice cream afterward in the dining hall.  Vikki, Bill and I played 3-13. Vikki won. Bill came in second with 52 and I had 56 in third place!

Friday, 7/26/19...Took Melissa to Therapy and had Jack and Evan over.

Took Melissa to therapy.  Brought Jack and Evan home with me.  I had gone by a garage sale on our road earlier and asked the boys if they wanted to go to it.  They both said yes.  We walked around and then the boys saw two nerf guns new in the boxes.  I could tell they really liked them, so told them I would buy them for them if they wanted them.  They were so happy and kept telling me thank you.  The older lady that was helping, told them not to shoot at anyone's face, and gave them lots of other instructions.  I got home, took a picture of the boys, then they went in the house and I drove back to the camper to unload groceries in the camper.  Bill and I took down the Clam.  I went in the house and the boys had the nerf guns out of the boxes and were trying them out.  They were so excited about them.  I made cabbage buns.  Just got them baked and it was time to go get Melissa.  I took her one to have on the drive home.  When I got home, I went swimming.  Then I vacuumed the pool.  When I backwashed it, it didn't want to stop.  Bill thinks a gasket broke.  We had to turn the filter off and keep the backwash hose in the pool.  Bummer!  Can't fix it until we get back from vacation.  I got back in the pool to cool off.  Bill came in for a swim too.  We just got out and Vikki called and was down the road.  She and Isaac came for a swim.  Bill took me to Outback for dinner.  Our steaks were the best we've had.  YUM!  Came home and watered my plants and finished packing for tomorrow.

Thurs., 7/25/19....Picked up groceries for BayShore, Washed Camper, Car and Truck, Went to Party on McCarty and worked in the booth for Faith Riders.

We all met for our officer's meeting.  We had others cover the front table.  Bill, Sabrina, Mike, Cheryl, Elaine, Wes, Luis, and Eva

Packed all the refrigerator stuff today.  Kenzie called me and talked for a long time.  Nice to have such a good talk with her. We laughed a lot as we talked about memories.   Lowered the Clam, so I could spray the very top of it and waterproof it.  Put it back up to dry.  Bill and I washed the camper, the car and the truck.  They sure look great.  Went shopping and got what I needed for BayShore. Came home and got ready to go to Party on McCarty.  We took the motorcycle and loaded the banner, awning, tracks, Bibles, etc.  Forgot to bring the candy, so Bill headed back to get it while the rest of us set stuff out on the table.  It was very hot out.  While some worked under the awning, the rest of us sat behind our sign which was where most of the shade was.  We had lots of fun and got food from Maria's food stand.  It was Yummy.  Paster Jeff and his family was there so we visited with them for a while.  Visited with Matt Starkey for a while too.  Watered my flowers when I got home.
