We all slept in.  Bill and I got up and read our Bibles outside.  It was a beautiful morning.  When Vikki got up I started making brunch.  I had the hash browns made, the bacon made, the ham made and had them on the griddle and just needed to quick make the eggs.  Guess what! I forgot to bring the eggs. Vikki went to the camp store for me, but they didn’t have eggs.  It was Vikki’s first time in the store here this year.  They only let four people in at a time and face masks are required .  Bill’s doctor called and said he doesn’t have to take his diabetes meds anymore!  Praise the Lord.  Losing weight and eating wiser sure paid off.  I am so happy for him!  She also took him off vitamin D.   We were talking to Melissa on the phone while breakfast we cooking so she had a good laugh too.  We just ate what we had.  Kimmy and the boys got here right after that.  We had a fun day. We all had king dongs for a snack. Played 3-13 with Kimmy, Jacob, vikki, Adam and I.  Vikki made hotdogs for lunch and Kimmy had a chicken salad sandwich and corn on the cob.  The kids went fishing.  We took a walk and went to see them. They were excited because they caught fish, saw a painted turtle, a snapping turtle , a catfish and a carp.  We came back and visited.  When  the kids got here, and Papa and Jacob got back from the grocery store, we sanitized the groceries and put them away.  We went to the beach swimming.  We had an ice cream break and all had drumsticks except Jacob. He had an ice cream sandwich.  Kimmy, Jacob and Adam left for home and picked up Fergie’s pizza to eat.  Eli spent the night with us.  He and the kids fished some more.  He was very good about telling kids 6 feet to social distance . I was very proud of him.  Bill, Vikki and I went for a walk around the campground.  Vikki and I played part of a game of 3-13 with the kids.  We have to finish tomorrow because it took so long.  Bill, Vikki and I played 3-13 afterward.  Vikki won and I came in second .  Vikki played the Bible on her phone for the kids and us to listen to while they fell asleep.  They listened to the story of Moses and lots of chapters out of the Bible.  They loved it and so did we.  Vikki and I played dice.  Eli came down from the loft and had a few Cheetos with us as he was the only one of the kids awake.  We all talked to Melissa lots today, so it was almost like she was here with us.

Day 148, 8/11/2020, Kimmy and The boys came up and spent the day with us

Eli's chair was on the hill, and it fell over.  I fell on the same hill while walking a short time later.  Vikki blocked it off with my plant after that so we didn't walk on that area

Jack, Bruce, Evan, Max and Hailey by the fire pit at our house.  They watched the shooting stars there and Melissa told us they were seeing lots.
After breakfast, I read my Bible outside. I’m reading Bill’s Study Bible and love it!  We were happy when Kimmy and the boys got here.  We visited in the wonderful shade by our camper.  Then we played 3-I 13 in the clam.  Vikki and Eli didn’t play.  Kimmy was the winner.  She beat me in the last hand.  We had lots of laughs at us crazy dealers getting mixed up.  We had sandwiches for lunch.  Adam tried chicken salad and loved it.  We went for a walk around the campground.  It was warm in the sun but not humid at least.  We hadn't realized it was so warm because of all the shade we had at our campsite. We got warm on our walk, and decided to go swim at the beach.  We all got cooled off with our swim.  Melissa, Bruce and the kids had a campfire at our house, then watched all the shooting stars.  She let us know she was seeing lots, so Vikki and I went out and watched them.  Peyton, Isaac and Papa didn't want to watch for them, so they all played cards in the camper.  Isaac did come out later and watched with us for a while.  We saw so many and loved how they shot across the sky with long trails behind them. Absolutely beautiful.  I love God's beautiful creation.  The heavens and earth declare the Glory of the Lord!

Day 147, 8/10/2020, Packed in the morning and went to Outdoor Adventures to camp for 10 days

Yay, we got our favorite spot to try

Peaceful camper at night
We packed in the morning because yesterday was such a busy day.  I didn't look at my list because I didn't have time.  We left at around 11. We got up to outdoor Adventures, and found a spot right by the pavilion that we have always liked with full hook up.  I called Bill, who was not far behind and almost to the campground, and told him about the spot.  Then I called him back to see if I should drive and see if the spot we have always wanted to try was available.  It was!  We got our favorite spot for the first time.  It is nice and shaded with plenty of room on both sides of the camper.   Bill had to head back for this doctor appointment, so he did the stuff he had to do and had to leave.  I tried to get everything else set up before Vikki and the kids came since I want her to be able to rest after working so hard on the deck.  Melissa, Bruce, Jack and Evan spent the day swimming at our house.  It was super hot out again.  I called my best friend, Vikki, and talked to her for a long time in the evening, and caught up. I was going to wait to put the Clam up because I knew she was tired and I wanted her to rest.  She wanted to get it set up though, so we did.  Isaac lost a tooth again.  He lost a tooth last time we camped too.  We played 3-13 with Peyton, Isaac and Vikki at night. Isaac won, I was big looser.  It was a fun first day and Vikki was such a great help.

Day 146, 8/9/2020, Went to church, Everyone came back to finish the deck, Yay they finished it! They worked so hard! Thank you!

Eli worked super hard right along with everyone else!  Hard working ten year old!
Finished the shed deck and this is all that was left to do on the big house deck!  Lots of hard work again today!
Eli putting powdered sugar on his brownies he made.  Peyton dumped the mix in the bowl and then had to leave, so Eli did the rest
Jared and Jacob

Handsome Adam was a hard worker too.
Eli worked hard burning wood for Papa.  It was a super hot day today too.
Jacob, Adam and Papa Bill

Eli learned to use the saw.  We stayed by him while he did it.
Yay, the deck is finished...9:30 at night, but they stuck right with it and did an amazing job
Melissa and Bruce were just saying they needed an extra pair of hands, and Charlie and Sue pulled in to visit.  Charlie went right up and started helping!  God's timing is amazing!

Another busy day with Jared, Kimmy and boys, Vikki and Bill working on finishing our decks.  They were putting new wood up on the sides of the shed deck when Bill and I got home from church.  We were surprised.  It looks amazing!  I did some power washing on it and on some of our house deck.  I moved lawn furniture so I could wash it good, and Jacob helped me move the table which was great.  It was so hot and humid out today.  It felt like it was in the mid 90's.  Everyone worked so hard again.  I am amazed how they could do that in this heat.  We all went for a swim after we ate.  It felt so good and I decided it was a get my hair wet kind of day.  They went back to work after that.  I kept them supplied with cold ice water and they drank lots of it where it was so hot out.  I was happy to be able to do that for such an amazing family.  I made some face masks since I wasn't needed a whole lot outside.  They found two suet feeders and my oriole feeder under the deck so far.  The raccoons hauled them under there after taking them down from the tree.  Bill covered the window well, so no more raccoons living in there for the winters.  Yay!  I talked to Melissa.  She was so happy that Charlie and Sue stopped in.  They stopped just in time to help them with the awning they were putting on their camper.  The kids and grandkids finished our deck at 9:30 p.m. It looks amazing.  We all went in the pool for a swim afterward.  It was super warm still and felt so good.  What an amazing loving family we have!  I love them all so much!
