6/25/15

We set up our booth for Faith Riders today at 4.  There were quite a few people who came by and lots of opportunities to witness for Jesus!

Thought this was such a cute picture.  Papa stopped in to have lunch with Kenzie on her break....All I see is ice cream but I guess they really did have lunch too.  So sweet of Bill.
After I was up a while, Vikki and I talked and decided to go walk the rail trail.  We went 2 miles and then I went to her house to watch the kids swim in their new pool.  Kenzie had to leave for work as she had to work 8 hrs.  The kids were very cute and spent lots of time swimming.  Isaac would just fall back in the water and didn't care that his whole face got wet.  Ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and pretzels there and then went to Walmart to get sunglasses that fit over my glasses.  Met Bill and looked at a dishwasher for Vikki.  The lady was really nice.  She was just changing it because she got a new stove and needed one to match.  She came down on the price when Bill asked her to.  She lived in a house that a friend of mine lived in when I worked at channel 5.  Afterwards, dad took me back to my car and I picked Hailey and Max up to bring to my house while Melissa and Bruce took Evan and Jack to the dentist.  It was Evan's first time and he did really well.  Melissa and the kids spent time here and then had to go so they could be ready for VBS.  Vikki invited us to eat chicken and mashed potatoes at her house as Bill was still working on the dishwasher.  It was a delicious meal.  We walked again after while we waited to see how the dishwasher did.

We were blessed to have Kenzie go with us to breakfast this morning.  Everyone was so happy to see her.  We had eggs and potatoes for breakfast.  Stopped at Melissa's afterward.  Kenzie took this picture for me of Jack, Max, Hailey, Abby and Evan.
We had a great turn out tonight for our Bike Night Outing for Faith Riders.  Somehow Bill Smith got off by himself and not in our group pic.
We had 11 bikes and a total of 15 people.  So nice that Vanessa came with Joaquin.  We got to sit together and catch up on old memories.

Did laundry and hung it out on the line.  It was a beautiful day so they dried quickly.  Afterward, Kenzie took a nap and while she was sleeping, I hoed the garden.  When she got up, she scraped paint off windows for us.  We had goulash for lunch.  I packed lots of stuff in the camper for summer camping.  She left for work at 4:40 and we left for Meijers at 5:30 to meet for our ride.  We had a good time and had opportunities to witness as the Lord opened doors.

More Faith riders and some friends too!

Kenzie wanted to play Sequence.  Peyton was her helper.  Then She, Vikki and I played 3-13

The wind is picking up and the rain is starting.  Severe storms are in the forecast.

It was around 9:30 p.m. when I took this and it got really bright before a down pour!

The clouds looked pretty strange!
Kimmy and the boys came this morning.  It was so nice to see them after a week away.  They gave Bill his Father's day cards and gifts.  He got a yummy huge candy bar that the boys were very excited about and a key knife that is really neat.  Kenzie got here next and then Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came shortly after that.  Later Melissa and the kids came too.  We visited and had lunch.  We went outside and it looked like a storm was coming and there were forecasts for severe weather so Kimmy headed home to avoid getting caught in bad weather and so did Melissa.  Vikki doesn't have a safe place to go so she and the kids stayed here till evening. I made goulash and we ate, then played games and then we all went to Culvers for Concrete Mixers.  I had coupons.  Vikki and I shared ours with Peyton and Isaac.  We put some in water cups for them to eat.  Kenzie came back to spend the night and go to breakfast with us in the morning.  She used to go all the time with us when she was little.  I put her car in the garage just in case it hailed.

Our last stop was at this Dairy Queen for ice cream.  Wes and Gayla were too busy eating and wouldn't look up.
Bill and Wes leaving the rest area and heading for the bikes.  We came home from London, KY today.
I took a close up too as I needed some pictures after riding all day,

It was so nice when we got home to have Vikki, Peyton, Isaac, Melissa, Bruce, and Hailey stop over.  Vikki brought us some delicious chicken so we got to eat and not cook after that long trip.  Thank you so much Vikki.  We sat and visited and the kids played and jumped on the trampoline.  Hailey does great on it was was doing flips and landing on her feet.  Would have put a video on if I knew how.  Melissa's boys were at VBS at Hopevale.  Made the three kids here ice cream cones as Melissa and Bruce said they would take Hailey for ice cream and they ran out of time after visiting.  I had just 3 cones left too.  Can't wait to see Kimmy and the boys tomorrow.  Bill got a basketball from Vikki and family and really bright LED headlamps from Melissa and family.  Nice surprise....Kenzie drove over to see us after she got out of work at 9:35 p.m.
