9/11/15

Chuck, Sue and Bill.  The Market was closed for private use.  Boo Hoo

They were honoring these officers who died in the line of duty.  The one on the far left was on his motorcycle on I-75 when he was it by a car hauling a trailer.  He was dragged 4 miles.  He was a Christian and was a youth leader at his church who touched many lives.  He had a wife and 4 children.  Their babysitter set up a go fund me account and have raised over 150,000.  They were honoring these officers and having other officers sign a frame for a picture.

Bill and I.  The police are riding an obstacle course behind us.  Tomorrow we will be helping pick up the cones if they knock one down.

Chuck, Sue and Bill at Mega Diner. We ordered yummy shakes and malts and they were huge.

An Egret flying at us on our tour of the Shiawassee flats

Tons of ducks

These huge fish (we think they were pike) would be floating on the top and then stick their heads up.  Mostly you just saw their backs like in the picture.  There were lots of them.

Loved seeing this beautiful swan.  Such a nice ride through here.
We left at 10 to go with Chuck and Sue to go to the RV show in Birch Run.  They didn't open till 11 so we went to Meijers for their $1.00 donut and coffee deal.  No tables so we sat in the truck to eat them.  Went back to the RV show.  So nice walking through all the RV's.  Some were amazing.  Very happy with the one we have that is paid for though.  We went to Bikes on the Bricks after that and walked around.  Saw some of our CMA friends that had been at the State Rally.  Also saw Chris who was in Trinity Riders with us and does the commercials for Security Credit Union.  We left there and went to Mega Diner to eat.  The guys wanted coney dogs and they had a two for one special.  Their food and shakes were delicious.  Had a picture of a long table set and an invitation to Believe in Jesus.  It was so cool to see it in there.  On our way home we decided to take the 7 mile tour through the Shiawassee Flats.  It was just beautiful and so enjoyable.
