We ate breakfast at Bringer Inn, then when we went to leave we had to wipe our bikes off because it rained. |

Bikes on the Bricks |
Head to Bringer Inn at 7:30. Stopped at Kroger to get grass and saw Bill Smith there. Sabrina came shortly after. We waited for them and then on our way we got caught in the rain. Bill and I, Wes and Gayla, Sabrina and Bill, Chaplain Bob, Greg, Don and Diane, Brian and Luis all ate breakfast. Katelyn and Rocco came when we were leaving and rode with us. We stopped shortly after leaving Bringer Inn to put our rain suits on. It misted all the way to Flint and didn't stop until the parade started. Pretty nice ride but pretty cool day, in the 50's. When we got to our corner to block the police motorcycle pulled in ahead of us and then when we followed he took off. We had to wear bright orange security vests. Once all the other regular riders went through, an ambulance came and would slow down so we could pull out in front of it. Pretty well organized. People were standing out all along the way waving. When we got to town we walked around, ate, watched the police do the bike challenges, and helped out at the CMA booth. We left around 3:30 pm and were going to go to Tony's in Birch Run but they had a super huge line up. We went to Big Boy instead. Bill had breakfast and I had a Slim Jim. This is the last day for it to be a Big Boy. Tomorrow the restaurant becomes Leo's. It was nice and sunny on the way homeI was happy to get home and crawl under my blanket. We are going to put our electric blanket on tonight.
