Fri., 8/30/19...A great day at BayShore Camp

Welcome by Wayne in the tabernacle

Gayla and I helped set out shirts and hang vests, coats, etc. up in the Goodies Store

Camping with our good neighbors, Wes and Gayla. Shared shade and shared picnic tables
It took a few minutes, but I finally got the timer on my phone camera going and ran to my seat to get this picture at our campsite

It was Mike Dewey's birthday so we took him a cake.  Others saw us heading there and joined us.  He and his wife Gail are the past State Coordinators for Michigan
Run for the Son facts on a table at the Rally.  I love Run for the Son and what it does for Missions

Don brought War Room up and spent the day with us.  Elaine and Barb came up too.  They set the motorcycle campers up next to us.  The National Evangelist asked us to be State Reps.  We are praying about it. Went to Goodies and spent the gift cards they gave us for donating to Run for the Son.  We got some shirts and some gifts to hand out for drawings at our chapter meetings.  Also balloons to hand out to kids.  Ate chicken in the dining hall.  Gave Jonah who has Down Syndrome a ride on our golf cart out to the campfire.  His dad walked out and joined us and carried Jonah's walker.  Jonah was so sweet and called us his friends.  He reminded me exactly of Bill’s brother Kenny.  That was the highlight of my day.  His dad was so nice too.  We gave them both a ride back.  The mosquitos were bad and mosquito spray was supposed to come, but it was too windy.  We played cards with Barb in our camper.  Bill won!
