1/6/17....Went to Kimmy's with Melissa and Vikki.

Kenzie put a picture of her happy having fun with a friend.  Love her smile!

Shane sent me this cute picture of Ava with the Birthday card I sent her!  So cute!
Vikki and Melissa came over after they took the kids to school.  We all took Kimmy's van to her house and spent the day.  I was supposed to take the left over spaghetti and some chicken salad for lunch and left without it.  Kimmy made delicious egg salad sandwiches and salad though so all was well.  Melissa and I tried our new hammocks out and they were great.  Nice that Kimmy has hooks to try them.  We had a nice visit like always. Norman sure was happy to see us and did great.  Bill left for the board of director's retreat at BayShore.  I took down my tree and Christmas decorations.  Have more to do tomorrow.

1/5/17...Kimmy and Vikki came over and we made bandana's for Lenny and Mocha

Kimmy figured out how to make these bandanas...She did the sewing and Vikki and I helped with what she needed us to do.  So much fun and they turned out so cute!

Mocha in her bandana

These are the cutest slippers ever!  Jared's mom made them for Vikki.  So sweet of her and it made Vikki so happy!  What a special lady!
Vikki came over after she dropped the kids off at school.  It was super cold and windy again.  7 degrees as I write this.  Tomorrow the wind is supposed to die down and it's supposed to warm up a little.  Kimmy came shortly after Vikki.  Melissa didn't come over as she needed some rest because of being up all night and also going to watch Livia.  We missed her!  I went to the dentist and Meijer's and Vikki and Kimmy went to JoAnn's.  They came back with material to make bandana's that Vikki had seen on a dog.  Kimmy figured out how to make them and we all had fun doing our specific jobs. They turned out so cute!  Kimmy also checked out the hammocks we got at Meijer's for 19.99 which were regularly 39.99, and said they were great and the straps to hand them were wonderful.  Melissa, Vikki and I are all so happy because we each have one.  So nice to find such a great deal.  I went back to see if the sale was still on and it wasn't.  We are going to hang out at Kimmy's tomorrow literally.  Taking our hammocks to try in her house as she has hooks to hang them out.  Went to our officer's meeting for Faith Rider's and made out the year's schedule for rides, church visits, etc.  What a great group of friends and we are so blessed to have Luis as our Chaplain.  What a powerful time of prayer asking God to bless what we were doing and give us wisdom.

It was very cold and windy.  We went to Vicki's mom's funeral and then to a luncheon afterwards at the church.  She had four daughters and two of them are Kim and Vicki.  Pastor Jeff sat with us at the luncheon.  The food was very delicious.  It was nice meeting all of Vicki's family.  Hopefully this is our last funeral to go to for a long time.  It is our third in a week.

1/3/17....feeling much better today, Went to our friend, Tony's funeral

Beautiful buttons Kimmy made me look wonderful on my towel holders

Love this brown button

Jacob's button he made for me

This is my towel with Jacob's button on it hanging on my refrigerator.  Love it and think of my sweetie Jacob whenever I look at it.  He did a great job!

Woke up feeling great.  Thanking God for good health today!  Did lots of crocheting today making my towel holders.  Love Kimmy's beautiful buttons on them.  Made me a towel holder with Jacob's beautiful button he made me for Christmas.  Love it!  Hung it on my refrigerator right away.  We went to Tony's funeral.  There were about 250 people there.  Afterward we went to the funeral dinner at Horizon's.  They had delicious food, Chicken, beef, goulash, and lots of other good stuff and delicious cake for dessert.  We sat with Sue and Chuck and the guys from the Sportszone who played cards 3 times a week with Tony.  Made two desserts when we got home and took them to Vikki and Kevin's to drop them off.  Visited for a few minutes with them and prayed with them.  Watched a movie when we got home.

1/2/17...I woke up at 2 not feeling well. Finally got what was going around the family from Bill.

Didn't feel good at all today.  I was laying down most of the day.  My wonderful girls were praying for me and checking on me.  Drank plenty of Gatorade slushes.  Bill was feeling good today.  He went and did Tony's Vigil at the Catholic Church in Freeland.  Lots of people came up to him afterward and their hearts were touched.  Very proud of how he is bold about sharing God's love and truth of His Word.  Sure will miss Tony.  Wish I could have gone but was too sick.

1/1/17 Happy New Year and God's blessings to you!

Our toothless twins, Isaac and Peyton...so cute
Isaac lost another tooth

Best yet in the Prius, 60 mph

Bill was up for a while and then threw up big time.  I went to Kroger's to get gatorade and chicken noodle soup for him.  Saw that gas had gone up at some stations to $2.59.  Then I saw it at Admiral for $2.29 so I stopped and filled up.  I was just about empty so was pretty happy.  Got lots of deals for the 5 for $5 at Kroger's.  Came home and knitted a towel holder.  Watched a couple of good movies.  Typed Tony's funeral up for Bill.  Happy New Year to everyone!

12/31/16...Made chili in my new cooker, went to Vikki's for New Year's Eve, Bill got sick

Used my new induction burner from the girls and my new frying pan to make fried potatoes.  They turned out so good.

Made chili in my Power pressure cooker today.  Loved using my spoon rest Kimmy made.  It's the best.  Big enough to rest a pancake turner on too, with no mess dripping over the sides.  Absolutely wonderful.

Dishcloth out of yarn from Kimmy and family looks beautiful finished.  Love the colors

This is how I found Bill when I got home...him and his bucket

I made chili in my new cooker.  I browned the meat and then added the ingredients, put the lid on and in 15 minutes the chili was done.  So easy and saves so much time.  Ran some chili to the Beemers as her mom just passed away.  Went to Kroger to get chili cheese fritos and cheese for chili and it was as busy as could be.  Took forever to even get out of the parking lot.  Came home and at 3:45, left for Vikki's.  Got there and munched on lots of snacks.  Bill was meeting with Tony's family to go over funeral details Bill will be doing Monday night.  He came to Vikki's later, but didn't seem right.  I asked him if he was ok and he said yes, but after he ate a couple of tacos, played one round of pie in the face, and watched some tv, he said he didn't feel good.  We prayed for him and then he left.
Vikki had everything set up so nice. We played candy land,  ate delicious tacos (I made double decker supremes).  We made snow cones that were delicious and so much fun to do, played the pie in the face game which gave us lots of laughs, and played a game of dice.  Vikki beat me bad.  The kids were fun.  Isaac was really cute because Rody found him a nice selfie stick at the dollar store so he was cute taking selfies all night.  If I took a picture, he would say send it to me Nana.  I left a little while after Bill, as I thought he might need me at home since he was sick.  Got home and he had the bucket by him.  He stayed on the couch for a while and then came to bed.  Didn't throw up during the night.
