5/15/17...Walked 3 miles, Sat outside to read my Bible, took Kenzie to Delta, dug some more around the house, Went out for a hot fudge sundae with Bill

Mocha sure likes laying on the gliders

Wes and Gayla went to Wisconsin today.  They sent me this picture of their campsite.  It was pouring when they got there, but now the weather is supposed to be great.

Went to Sportszone.  The kid I met that was pronounced dead because he got hit by a car and is a miracle has a trainer.  He was working keeping his balance while having his eyes closed.  Brought back memories of Melissa's therapy. I gave him a thumbs up and he gave me one back.  I always pray for him while I walk.  Texted Gayla to see where they were and told her to text me when they got to their destination.  She sent me the picture above.  I picked Kenzie up from Yonkers.  She was working in the children's department.  I gave her a couple of egg rolls I picked up for her and a hot tea and then we went to Delta.  She did good on her tests.  While she was their, I dug more around the back of the house.  Had warmed up hamburgers for supper with potato salad and corn from the garden.  Later on, we went for a hot fudge sundae.  YUM!

5/14/17...It was a very Happy Mother's Day with my family

Beautiful card and flowers from my sweetie Bill.  Also got me delicious chocolate covered strawberries

What a fun blessed day it was.  The girls and their families (Stacie too) came over.  Everyone was here except Kenzie. The weather was beautiful and we could even eat outside.  Bill cooked great burgers and hotdogs on the grill.  The kids loved all the legos I got at the garage sale.  They had so much fun with them and had fun looking at all the books that came with them.  I LOVE MY FAMILY!  How very blessed I am to be the mother of such wonderful daughters who love their families and are doing a great job raising their children.  I also am very blessed to have wonderful godly son in laws who are like sons to me in my heart.   So blessed too, to have all of these wonderful precious loving grandchildren.  The Lord has sure been good to me.  Very grateful for blessing me with a wonderful godly husband also.

5/13/17...We rode our motorcycle to a pancake breakfast in St. Charles

Getting ready to have the bike blessing!

Brian and Bill

Group picture
Cute picture of Ally and Hailey at the track meet.  Max did a really good jump that Bruce put on, but I can't seem to put videos on here

Praying after Chaplain Luis finished the bike blessing

We left at 7:30 a.m. to go to St. Charles for a free pancake breakfast Nativity Lutheran Church was putting on.  They had pancakes, eggs, potatoes, sausage, ham, fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls, and coffee cake.  Wes and Gayla brought Joel and is was really nice to see him.  We had the bike blessing afterward.  Luis did it because the pastor wasn't able to be their.  He wrote it out though and gave it to Luis to do and he did a good job.  There was a ride afterward, but we had to be back so Bill could go to Pat's in Freeland to help the Marine Corp. League raise money. Vikki and I went to the garage sales again to look for some deck screws Kimmy had seen them the day before and called me to check.  I told Vikki I was going and she wanted to come which was a good thing because she had seen them too so had more of an idea of where to look.  We didn't find them though.  Vikki and Lenny went on to the dog park and I came home.  Dennis and Amy were supposed to come over and drop some clothes off she wanted to give me.  I went out to the camper for a few minutes and they came while I was out there and just left them on the deck.  To bad I missed them.  The clothes are really nice.  I tried a few on but have to do the rest later.  Bill and I went to a couple of greenhouses.  He wanted to get me a water fountain for Mother's Day.  We came home and I made potato salad and brownies for tomorrow.  We watched the new Anne of Green Gables afterward.

5/12/17...The girls all came over. We went to garage sales over in a subdivision on Hospital Rd. The girls helped put the edging around the house. Big job!

The girls all helped put this new edging around the house.  Kimmy did the digging and we put the edging in and smoothed the dirt.  Bill pounded in stakes.

Pat Clark and her daughters.  I thought you girls would enjoy seeing this picture.  They were so little when they went to school with you.

Vikki came over and said the garage sales we always love going to by us were today.  She and I went to get some money out so we could go.  Melissa and Kimmy got here and then we left.  Found some good stuff.  After we got done, we went to a garage sale down the road and the girls and they had some of the nice shirts we love so I got one for Bill and Melissa got some for Bruce and the kids. Kimmy found some great shorts for Jacob and Melissa found a swimming suit with the tags on it for one of the boys.  The girl and boy working the garage sale were so mannerly and kind.  They were giving us deals and also offering to help people load stuff in their cars.  We all worked hard putting the new edging around the house.  Kimmy dug around so we could put the edging in and move the dirt around it.  How blessed we are to have daughters that like helping us.  We are very thankful.  It looks so nice now and it is so nice to not have plastic which is full of holes down under the dirt for grass to grow through.  It looks so nice now.  Bill and I ate the left over pizza from Pizza Hut and then went to Culver's to have concrete mixers.  We went to the Home Store afterwards and also walked through Home Depot.

5/11/17...Went to our Faith Rider's Meeting. Had 22 there.

Evan all excited about the bread Ken dropped off to them

Evan told Melissa he was going to the neighbors to sell bread.  He told her to try a piece of the bread he had in his hand because it is sooooo soft.  She looked in the box and he had it loaded with bread to sell.  He's so funny.

Bill and I went to Tim Horton's and met Julie there so she could give us their money envelopes for Run for the Son.  We had coffee and I had a muffin.  Had a nice visit and happy they are arranging their schedules so they can start attending our Faith Rider's meetings again.  Left there and Bill went to cut His Restoration's lawn.  I went to get a TI30XS scientific calculator for Kenzie for her Math test.  Found the cheapest one at Best Buy and had a gift card so that worked well.  Went to Aldi's and got some food to set out for the mail food collection on Saturday.  Had some stuff at home I packed too.  Found a cute set of canvas pictures for the room I am going to redo upstairs.  Chuck and Sue came over for a while and we had a nice visit.  I showed her the kids concert videos and she really liked them.  We looked to see if a video of Jacob was on but there wasn't one yet.  They left and we got ready to go to Pizza Hut for our meeting.  Bill rode the motorcycle, but I took the car.  Figured it would be cold on the way home.  Good turnout!  We had 22 people there.  Bill does an amazing job getting things ready and leading it.  We as a chapter raised over $10,000 for Run for the Son Missions.  That is amazing.  We are praising God!
