11/15/17... Went to SportsZone, Did Delta Club lesson, Charlie brought us sausage he made and baked apples with walnuts and raisins, Taught my class

Went to SportsZone and walked three miles.  Bill had an appointment with the Chiropractor.

Worked on my lesson for church tonight.  Taught my class and the kids did great and were so good. They made bookmarks with stickers and a Bible verse on them and then we laminated them.  They turned out so cute.  All of my grandkids knew their Bible verse.  Great job girls for working with them on their verses.  Love that they are hiding God's Word in their hearts.  Watched a Hallmark movie with Bill when we got home.

11/14/17...Went to breakfast, went to Melissa's, Baked cookies, had small group

We went to breakfast at Sullivan's.  From now on we will meet in the back room because we have outgrown the regular room.  After breakfast, I went to Melissa's.  Nora was there and she was so cute.  Abby was really happy to see me and came running.  Then she hopped on my lap when I sat down and stayed right by me.  Went to Kroger's and got one more turkey and some other stuff I need for Thanksgiving Dinner on Saturday.  Came home and made pumpkin cookies.  Went over my lesson again for small group.  We had a great group discussion.

11/13/17...Cleaned the house, Bill and Bruce went with Pastor Mark to BayShore for Directors meeting, Melissa, Hailey and I went shopping,

Went to go to the SportsZone to walk and when I went to movie my small wallet to my backpack, I couldn't find it.  Prayed right away for God to help me find it.  My life is practically in it.  Thought about when I had it last and it was yesterday after I picked up Peyton and Isaac.  Knew I had stopped at the ATM and then came straight home.  Looked all over and still couldn't find it.  Prayed more and decided to trust and not panic.  Retraced my steps again.  Thought about what I did when I got out of the car.  Went through the trash.  Didn't find it, but found a fork one of the kids threw away when we had cake and ice cream last week.  Happy I found it.  Then I thought about throwing a paper in the recycling when I got out of the car.  Looked in it and there it was.  I sure was thanking the Lord!
Bill got home so I made oatmeal for both of us and we read the Bible.  I went to SportsZone and walked for 3 miles.  Came home and cleaned the house.  In the evening, Bill and Bruce went to Bay Shore for the Board of Directors meeting.  This is Bill's last meeting and he is passing the baton to Bruce.  Pastor Mark Karls picked them up.  Melissa, Hailey and I went school shopping for Hailey.  We usually go together before school starts, but we were all too busy so went now.  Hailey found some cute reasonable shirts.  She got quite a few at Walmart for $1 each.  What a great deal that was.
We had lots of fun and went to Taco Bell when we were done.  Max did a great job watching his brothers.  They were all peacefully watching a dog movie when we got home.

11/12/2017...Went to church, taught Sunday School, Peyton and Isaac came home with me, Melissa, Bruce and the boys stopped over

We went to church.  I went early to get my Sunday School Stuff ready.  Had fun in class.   After church, Peyton and Isaac came over.  We ate spaghetti for dinner.  Melissa, Bruce and the boys came over.  The boys had made pictures for papa for Veteran's Day and gave them to him.  We watched Bethlehem's Pop Rock videos of the kids and teachers at school.  Cute videos.  Hailey did great and one of her groups won.  Watched a video Melissa took of Jack and Evan singing the Alleluia hymn. They sang so cute and so loud. Loved seeing it.  Rody came and spent some time with us when he picked up Peyton and Isaac.  Stacie called and wanted us to go out to eat, but we had just finished eating.  Relaxed after that and watched movies.  Can't believe that I didn't take any pictures today when the kids were here.

11/11/2017...My sweet granddaughter, Kenzie, turned 20 today! Took her to breakfast, Went to her apartment, Went to Olive Garden with Bill, Went to Aspire Women's ministry

So thankful for my dad and Bill's service to our country.  Very proud of them!  They are two of my heroes!

At 6:45 a.m., Bill and I heard a horn beeping.  We were still in bed, but both got up quickly.  Bill had set his alarm for the time Charlie was picking him up to go to their free breakfast at Bob Evans instead of the time he needed to get up and get ready.  He rushed around and then went out the door.  I stayed up and got ready to go pick up Kenzie and the kids to go take Kenzie to Breakfast at Bob Evan's for her Birthday.  We had a little wait, but got to sit on a bench while we waited.  After we got to the table and had our coffee, a worker came up and told Vikki a veteran had given her five dollar bills and wanted her to give them to kids.  She asked permission and then gave Isaac and Peyton each one.  They were so happy.  What a blessing of the veteran to do.  Our food came and it was so good.

The kids had fun with Kenzie and were cute to watch.  We all had a nice time.  After we left there, we went to Kenzie's apartment and she served us Turtle Cheesecake.  YUM!  She opened up her birthday present from Bill and I.  She wanted stuff for her cat, so she got a covered kitty litter box and a scratching thing for her cat to play on.  She thanked me right away and gave me a big hug.  We hung out for a while and then left so Vikki could help Rody work on his mom's house.  We stopped at Habitat for Humanity's Store and saw a really cute desk for a dollar but it had to be gone today.  Vikki showed Kenzie a picture of it and she wanted it, so we loaded it in my car and took it to Kenzie.

She sent pictures to Vikki and had it all loaded up really quick.  I got home for a while and then had to leave at 2 to meet Sue and Charlie at Olive Garden so the guys could get their free meals.  They both got spaghetti.  I just got soup, because I was going to church at 4:30 for a potluck.  We had a nice time.  Went home and fixed my salad and then picked up Kim Reminder on my way to church.  Stacie met us at the church.  We all sat together and picked the right table.  We got to go first!  Everything was delicious.  We all cleaned up everything, and then went to First Assembly.  Amy rode with Kim and I too.  Stacie followed incase she couldn't make it through the whole thing.  She fell and hurt her neck so wasn't sure.  She made it through till the end though.  We had so much fun.  It was funny, the worship was amazing and they had two comedians who were so funny.  The second one was hilarious.  We all laughed so hard.  The person who taught the message was amazing.

Went to the Sports Zone and walked 3 miles.  Came home and Bill wanted to go to Denny's for his free breakfast for the Marine Corp League Birthday.  We went there and it was really busy.  Bill had to be at the VA Hospital and didn't know if we would have time to wait in the long line.  He was saying they should seat four at a table.  Then he told me he would be right back and went to talk to someone he knew.  He motioned me over and we sat with a man who used to work for him and his wife.  We got our breakfast on time and had a nice visit with the couple.  His wife helps out at the Living Nativity we go to every year.  Bill went to the VA Hospital to serve Birthday Cake to the patients and I went to get some groceries and another turkey.  Went to pick up Peyton and Isaac from school after that.  They came out running to me and hugging me and were so cute.  We came back to my house.  Kimmy and the boys came over.  I got some great hugs and sure was happy to see the boys.  So glad they had a half day too.  Melissa came and brought Abby so Kimmy could groom her.  Vikki got here later.  We ate lunch and and had a nice time visiting.  Then Kimmy did a great job on Abby's haircut.  The kids all had fun together. We played a game of 3-13 with Jacob which was fun too.  Bill and I had to leave to go to the Marine Corp Birthday Party at the Old Country Buffet.  The girls and kids cleaned up the house for me.  We had fun and it was nice having Dennis and Ralph from church come.  Dennis just joined and Ralph was awarded his Marine Corp Membership pin there.  Came home and watched a Hallmark Movie.

11/9/17 Went to Melissa's for a while to visit. Vikki was there too. Went to Kroger's to get some groceries so I could get one of my turkey's for 49 cents a pound

Had oatmeal for breakfast and then Bill had to meet Rich for coffee.  I got some things done around the house and brought all my winter sweaters down from upstairs.  Getting ready for all of this cold weather that's coming.  I went to Melissa's to drop some stuff off and Vikki was there.  I was happy get to spend time with both of them.  Vikki left to pick the kids up, and shortly after I left to go get enough groceries to get a turkey for 49 cents a lb.  I need three turkeys this year so I need to make two more trips.  When I came out of Kroger's it was snowing out and blowing like crazy.  Brrrrr!!!
I tried to find A Veteran's Day card for Bill at Kroger's but they didn't have any.  I found a nice birthday card for Kenzie and one for Hailey.  Had to go to Hallmark after that and found a really nice one.  Picked up the 14 yr. Birthday girl for Hailey for her birthday too.   We went to our Faith Rider's meeting.  Had elections.  Nice to get together with everyone.  Bill did a good job leading it and was funny when he put his Statue of Liberty crown and glasses on.  Luis gave a good devotion.   Hailey got her new glasses.  She looks so cute in them.
