Sign Vikki made for us.  We always say $Bill and Penny, the family that makes cents so that people will remember our names.  This was so cute, sweet and funny to open.  Great job Vikki.  We love it!

Everyone came at 9.  We snacked and Kenzie wrapped  Travis’s gift and Kimmy wrapped Bill’s gift for me.  Then we gathered in the Living room and listened to Bill read the Christmas Story in the Bible. Love this tradition and focusing on Jesus!  After that Jared, Rody and Bruce passed out all of the gifts.  They always do a great job.  We sure are blessed with great son in laws.  We all got such nice things and I loved all the homemade things given by everyone....Kimmy and Jared's mugs, Vikki's sign and gnomes, Kenzie and Travis's ornaments, Bruce's jam, and Bill's wooden ping ball shooters....lots of talent in the family!  Travis was so cute to watch when he saw all of the homemade things opened.
Kimmy and Jared mashed the potatoes which were delicious, Bill cut the turkey, I made the gravy and everyone helped set everything on the table.  We ate lots of good food and Charlie, Bill, Bruce and Jared played Euchre, the kids played and Sue, the girls and I visited.  It was sure a wonderful Christmas with a house full of family and lots of love.  We are very blessed! Thank you Jesus, Messiah, Emanuel, God With Us, Savior of the World, Redeemer, and so much more for coming!

12/23/18...Got everything ready for tomorrow, Went out to Outback with Bill, Brought gifts downstairs

Kenzie, Travis, Peyton, Isaac and Rody.  They decorated the cookies I baked for them.  Looks like they had fun and did a great job.
Bill at Outback.  What a handsome date he is!

Tree with most of the gifts around it for tomorrow.
Went to church.  Prayed at the altar with people afterward.  Came home and made rolls, pie crust and pies, and got everything I could ready for tomorrow.  Bill and I went out to Outback which has been a tradition for a very long time now.  We had such a nice time and a great meal.  I had to send my meat back because it was pretty pink and I had asked for it well done.  I had enough pink last night.  It was the best steak I have had though.  Delicious!  Bill was sweet and while we were sitting there he reached across for my hands.  I thought it was weird at first because we had already prayed.  Then he looked at me sweetly and told me he loved me.  What a precious moment!  We went to Sam's Club and got some trash bags for tomorrow and also some bananas and cashews.  Came home and got more things done for tomorrow.  Excited for tomorrow to get here and family to come.  I love Jesus, I love Christmas and I love my family.  I am blessed!

We got to Debbie's at about 2:45.  The girls and their families had just gotten there.  We had a good time visiting and snacking.  Fred, Lourdes, Shari, Bob, Ann, Debbie and her family and all of our family were there.  The food was really food except we didn't care for the bloody meat.  Even the well done was pink.  Bill fed his to the dog.  Shame on him!  Max loved it though and went back for more.  He kept telling me how good it was.  It was roast or prime rib we think.  I took veggies and dip, Melissa and Bruce brought yummy string bean casserole, Kimmy and Jared brought deviled eggs and Vikki and Rody brought banana pudding dessert.  Fred and Lourdes brought pies.  The kids opened their ornaments from Aunt Debbie, Uncle Tom, Matthew and Amanda.  They were really cute.  We opened our cute ornament with the grandkid's names on it.  Love all of our ornaments from Debbie.  My tree is beautiful because of her.  We all played bingo and had so much fun.  There were a lot of us that had played for a long time and couldn't win, so they had a few games for just the losers so we could become winners.  Evan was sure happy when he won.  He was so cute.  Fred won and gave his $5 of nickels he won to Peyton.  She was sure happy too. We had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs.  Stopped at Meijer's and got thick rubber bands that Bill needed and I got what I needed for my Cheesy Potatoes for Christmas Eve Dinner.

12/21/18....Went and finished my shopping and picked up gifts that came in at Walmart. Took Melissa to therapy. Picked her kiddos up as they only had a half day. Went to Kody's Christmas Program

Cute snowman that Vikki made me! Love it!
I went to Walmart to pick up Adam and Eli's gifts and finish the rest of my shopping.  I went early so it wouldn't be busy.  Went to Melissa's and took her to therapy at 10.  Went to Kroger's to get some gift cards and then went to pick up Max, Jack and Evan.  Took Max and Evan home and then Jack and I went to get Melissa.  We visited with Tom and Matthew while we were there.  Picked up Hailey and took them home.  I met Bill at Home Depot and we drove together to see Kody in his Christmas Program.  At first he was pretty silly, but he started doing the motions after a few songs.  How nice that they sang This Little Light of Mine and If You're Happy and You Know it.  Sang some cute Christmas songs too.  We went to Home Depot after we were done.  We left there and I stopped at McDonald's and picked up frappes and Shakes and took them to Melissa's.  Left and met Bill at Menard's.  He had some Christmas shopping to do, so I went and got a chicken Club sandwich from Arby's and he picked up a Philly sandwich from Charlies.  Watched a Hallmark Movie.

12/20/18....Happy Birthday to my mom in heaven. I sure do miss her

Me and my beautiful mom
Beautiful pop up card we got from Carol this year
Beautiful pop up card we got from Carol last year.  It's amazing how it all folds down into a card.  It's a very detailed nativity too.

Took Melissa to therapy at 9.  It was raining outside.  There was an accident at the corner of our road and Midland Rd.  I thought it was going to make me late because the police just got there, but I was able to turn and go down Midland road pretty quickly.  Melissa had the lokomat and OT today, so she was there for 2 1/2 hrs.  I went shopping and got all my stuff I needed for Christmas Dinner and also to take to Debbie's for Saturday.  I picked Melissa up afterwards and dropped her off and left right away because I had ice cream in my car.  I decided since it was in a stay cold bag and it was cool out I would run into McDonald's Nursery real quick.  Melissa called me a few minutes after I was there and told me Hailey texted me and wondered if I was coming to pick her up soon.  I forgot about her getting out early and so did Melissa.  I picked Melissa up at 11:30 and we should have left right from there to pick Hailey up at 11:40.  It only took me about 7 minutes to pick her up, but I was 20 minutes late.  Hailey was sweet and said it was fine.  I hit the curb and told her that was a lesson on what not to do when she drives.  She got a good laugh about that.
I dropped her off and went home to put my groceries away.  The ice cream did great.  Bob came to work on the drywall he is finishing up.  I wrapped gifts.
