Happy Birthday to Isaac

My new cup holder and armrests

Bill rode the motorcycle to visit Rich and then go to his appointment.  I took the car to pick up Melissa and take her to therapy.  It was pouring when he got out of his appt. so he waited for it to quit at the VA.  Wrapped Birthday presents and filled out cards.  Did some laundry.  Made cheesy potatoes for the party.  Picked Melissa up from therapy.  They commented on how much she has improved.  She only used her cane to go in and to leave.  I am so proud of her.  We went to Applebee's afterward and had soup and salad.  We also had a very nice visit.  Sure love that girl!  Got to see Bruce and the boys when I dropped her off at her house, and wish Bruce an "in Person" Happy Birthday.  When I got home, Bill was in the shed. He called me to ask if I could help him.  I went out and he surprised me with armrests and a cup holder for me on the motorcycle.  It is so nice.  I will love being able to have water or coffee in my cup holder while I ride. He ordered it and had to ride way up to Mt. Pleasant to pick it up.  I sure was happy when I saw it.  I sure am blessed with a wonderful, caring husband.  We went to Peyton and Isaac's Birthday Party.  Vikki had everything so nice.  We had great food (sloppy joes, cheesy potatoes, chips, birthday cake and ice cream).  We had a nice time visiting with Rody's mom, aunt, uncle and cousin.  The kids were really good and did such a great job opening their gifts.  They were excited about everything, including clothes.  They were also very polite and thanked everyone as they opened the gifts. We had a fun time.  Bill finished putting the other armrest on when we got home.  I organized the trunk in the motorcycle.

Thurs., 9/5/19...Worked on CMA Website to update it. Skimmed the pool cover to get stuff the wind blew on it off, went to Officer's Meeting at Wes and Gaylas

I looked today and there are lots of new buds on this rescued plant now.

Charlie picked Bill up.  I spent my time with the Lord and then worked on updating the CMA website.  It took a while because I had to take all the pictures from last year off and put all new pictures on. Had to put events for all the months left on also.  Skimmed the water on the pool cover and got all the stuff the wind had blown on the water off.  We started draining some of the water off.   Rode the motorcycle over to Wes and Gayla's for our officer's meeting.  Great turnout....Wes, Gayla, Cheryl, Arnie, Elaine, Renee, Dan, Don, Bill Smith, Vicki, Kevin and Bill and I.  We had a great meeting and Kevin wants to take Bill's place as president, Vicki wants to take my place as newsletter editor, and Sabrina wants to take my place as Webmaster.  So thankful for how God works everything out.

Wed., 9/4/19....Picked Vikki up from work, went to Tony's, picked Peyton and Isaac up from school, They came over for a while

My hibiscus blossomed today.  All the leaves had turned yellow and fell off.  I put it outside and it came back and is beautiful

Bill and I went out to Frosty's Freezer in Hemlock and used the gift card Bill had won

Bill had to go meet Ralph Rosas to give him Marine Corp League stuff.  He came home and we ate and read our Bibles.  He had to take Stacie's dad to a VA appt.  After he left, Vikki called to say she had a flat tire.  She had to be to work at 10:30, so I told her I could come take her to work.  She said she had already talked to her dad and he was at the VA and was coming to take her to work.  He went back and was going to take her car in for a tire, but the hole was the size of a nickel so he had to take it off.  It was very hard to get it off and he had to come up with a way to do it.  He's pretty clever and figured it out.  Her other tires were really bad too, so he talked to the people there and they said she needed to get the other tires replaced.  I picked Vikki up from work.  We went to Tony's while we waited for the kids to get out of school.  We ate breakfast and visited.  Vikki was pretty stressed from a busy work day at school.  They don't have enough help so it's high pressure getting everything that is needed to get done done.  We picked Peyton and Isaac up afterward.  They were happy to see me.  We went to pick Bill up and take him to his truck at Vikki's.  Vikki got the bottom lock unlocked, but couldn't get the top.  The dogs needed to be let outside, and Vikki 's feet were sore from work, so she wanted to get comfy shoes.  She had given up, but I took her keys and prayed out loud for God to help me get the door unlocked right away.  It is a bugger to unlock usually.  It unlocked right away. Praise the Lord.  Vikki and the kids came over til her car got done. We sat outside and relaxed.  Peyton and Isaac stayed out by Papa and the fire.  Vikki's car was ready when we got there.  When I got home, Bill and I took his truck over to D.J so he can fix the dent in it.  Said hi to Stacie and then went to eat at Frosty's Freezer to use our $20 gift card Bill won.
The pizza is on special on Wed. so we got pizza and then hot fudge sundaes.  Went to Sears to see what deals they had for 40 percent off.  Got some socks, underwear and two pair of nice shoes.  Bill got a weed waker for our Anniversary gifts to each other.

My plants sure do great under the pergola.

We went to our breakfast at Sullivan's.  We had a nice time and a great breakfast.  I went to visit Melissa afterward.  We had a nice long visit.  She is such a wise and kindhearted daughter.
I came home and worked on putting stuff from the camper away.  It rained out for a while.  Melissa called said the school called and told her Evan wasn't feeling good.  They asked her if someone could pick him up.  I went to pick him up.  He looked fine, but told me he had felt like he was going to throw up.  He told me that was better now, but his legs hurt and his tonsils.  I prayed for him in the parking lot and he said his legs were all better.  We talked about Jesus all the way to his house.  He was telling me how at Tawas, he had ran in the water and it felt like he was walking on water.  He said just like Peter.  When Peter looked to Jesus he could walk, but when he looked at the waves he sank.  Evan said he could walk on the water because he believed in Jesus and looked to him.  He was so cute.  He had a lot of faith testimonies he shared with me.  Sure love that sweetie.  We pulled in the driveway and he said, "I have to run and take those trash cans by the road in really quickly.  Bill and I took a nap in our recliners  to catch up from being up early and staying up late at the Rally.  We loved eating our left overs from Olive Garden for dinner.  Just as delicious as last night.  Talked to Vikki she had a super busy work day with a shortage of workers.  I talked to Peyton and Isaac later and they both loved their teachers and had a great day.  I talked to Kimmy and she had a very busy day and had to work late.  The boys all had great days at schools and liked their teachers too.  Bill and I filled out the application for State Reps. and got it emailed.

We all went to Olive Garden and had great food.  Our waitress was wonderful.  Came home and started catching up on my blog.
