Listened to worshipful Christmas Music and then read my Bible. We went to Bruce and Melissa's house at 9.  The kids all came running and gave us great hugs.  We had cinnamon rolls and coffee first, then Bruce made us an amazing breakfast...egg casserole, plain scrambled eggs, rolls with egg and potatoes inside, waffles (stuff to make Belgium waffles too), hash browns, American fries, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, and homemade bread.  It was the best breakfast ever!  Afterward we opened gifts.
I love this tradition.  It was so much fun watching them open their gifts. We loved our gifts too...especially Bill's ping pong socks and the snowballs.  We had a snowball fight in the house with them.  Nice that they don't hurt when they hit.  We went to Kimmy and Jared's after that.  Love relaxing in their LazyBoy's.  I brought the snowballs in for them to see.  We really had a snowball fight there.  Those boys got into it and so did Jared. It was so much fun.  Eli loved using my neck thing I got from Hailey.  I brought it in to show them because it is so comfy.  Kimmy had snacks and meat and cheese out, but we were too full to eat. We had a nice time there and then got our hugs and left for home.  We rested at home for a little while and then went to Rody's moms for dinner.  They had just finished opening presents.  We visited and then ate.  The food was delicious.  Didn't eat much, because we were still pretty full.  They are always so nice. Peyton and Isaac were cute.  We came home and watched It's a Wonderful Life.

Got up early and made the cheesy potatoes, set tables, and got everything ready.  Read my Bible and worshipped Jesus!  I am so thankful for Him and what He has done for us.  Kimmy and family got here about 9, and Melissa and her family and Vikki and her family shortly after.  We snacked on sausage, cheese, crackers and Christmas Cookies.  Took some pictures and videos and then opened gifts.  The kids did their gift exchange first.  It was fun watching them and they gave each other such thoughtful gifts.  We all opened according to age afterward.  We all got such nice gifts and our family is so special and giving.  Bill wrapped his own gifts for me this year.  First time ever!  Kimmy was out of a job.  Charlie came, but Sue wasn't feeling well, so stayed home.  Melissa and Kimmy helped set the silverware on tables.  We ate at 2. Kimmy and Vikki made me sit down, and they cleaned everything up and put all the food away.  They always do this for me and are such blessings.   I texted Stacie because they weren't here at 2.    There was a mix up and she thought it was tomorrow.  It ended up her boss let everyone go home, so she picked DJ and Kody up and they came around 3.  The girls were blessings again and got everything out for them to fix their plates and eat.  What kind hearted sweet girls.  The guys played Euchre.  We ate dessert after we were done being so full.  Rody had to leave to do sound for the Christmas Eve Service at Church.  He came back afterward.  Melissa and her family left to go to the Christmas Service at Bethlehem.  Kimmy, Jared, Jacob,Vikki and I played 3-13. I was the big winner tonight.  We watched Overcomer while we played.  Jack played his instrument for us and Eli played his recorder for us.  Then Kimmy and Vikki cleaned up everything again and unloaded the dishes from my dishwasher.  I am so blessed.  I love my family!

Monday 12/23/19...Got things ready and the turkey cooked, Went to Dinner at Sullivan's with Pastor, Joan and the Elders

Already for Christmas and worshipping Jesus

Got things ready, turkey cooked, stuffing made, and tables up and ready for tomorrow.  Texted Adam
lots.  I sure love texting him.  Such a sweet grandson.  He and Jacob are so excited for tomorrow and so am I.  Bruce took Jack to Med Express and found out he has a touch of pneumonia which isn't good with his asthma.  They put him on an antibiotic and steroids.  Sure am praying for my sweet Jack.  Went shopping and got Bill a few gifts.  Came home and wrapped them and got ready to go  to Sullivans with Pastor, Joan and the Elders and their wives.  We had the back room which was decorated so pretty, as was our table as well.  We had a nice time and a great meal.  Love these friends!.

Sunday, 12/22/19...Went to church,Went to lunch with Charlie and Sue, Went to Clare to the Military Store, Went to Kimmy's

At Linwood Corners with Sue, Charlie and Bill
Guys all busy on their devices
Jacob, Bill, Eli, Me and Adam....Wyatt too!

We went to church.  Drove separately so we could both get gas and save $1 per gallon after church. Great message again today.  We are so blessed!  After church, we came home and changed and then headed for Bob Evans.  Sue returned my call, so we talked and decided to go to the Turkey Roost.  When we got there, they were closed until after the first of the year.  We went to Linwood Corners instead.  Sue and I had the mile high turkey meal.  We each took half home.  Bill got breakfast and charlie a hot hamburger sandwich.  They went to visit a cousin afterward, and we went to Claire to the Military Store.  We picked up a few things for a basket the CMA State Leadership is putting together.  We stopped at Kimmy and Jared's on our way back home and visited for a while and drank a coffee.  Those Lazy Boy chairs sure are comfortable.  It was nice to spend time with them and also nice to see Wyatt and the other dog "Adam" do their tricks for treats.  Adam had us laughing.   Wyatt did great as always.  Got to text Adam more.  Such a fun kiddo.  Their tree and outside decorations look so nice.  Adam texted me that they were going to watch Overcomer.  He texted me back that he loved it.  I put bows on the Christmas gifts and put them under the tree.  Bill and I watched "Last Ounce of Courage" which was very good too, but a tear jerker.

Sat.,12/21/19...The boys all slept good last night, Took Evan and went to IHops for the Marine Corp. League breakfast, Max and Jack watched a movie while we were gone. Took the boys home and went to Kawkawlin, Decorated Cookies, Cleaned kernel burner

The boys got up around 8.  Jack and Max ate Cocoa Pebbles for breakfast.  Evan wanted some too, but I told him he could have some when we got home, because we were going to I Hop and he wouldn't want to eat there.  These boys were so good and told me they wanted to stay longer and spend another night.  If it wasn't for Christmas Eve being so close and having lots to do, I sure would have.  Love these sweet kiddos so much!  Max and Jack watched a movie while we were gone.  Evan had chocolate chip pancakes, Bill had the sampler, and I had a Belgian Waffle Combo.  We waited 2 hours before our section got our food.  My Belgian waffle was plain, so I asked the waiter why no strawberries or whipped cream were on it.  He said he would bring some out.  I fixed it up right.  We were all in the back room and the tables in front of us and behind us got their food fast and were leaving before we got ours.  Guess we are learning patience.  Had to do some Christmas shopping still, so I took the boys home and got some pictures there.  Went to Kawkawlin and picked up something for Bill and something for Charlie and Sue.  Came home and Bill and I decorated all the Christmas cookies.  It didn't take us long.  He is super fast.  Adam tested me and said he has an I Pod now and can text me.  I am so happy.  We had fun texting back and forth and I learned a lot from him already.  What a sweet kid he is!  I love him to pieces.  I vacuumed the kernel burner out after that so it's all clean for Christmas Eve.  Then I relaxed and did my blog.
