Day 154, 8/17/2020, Slept in, Isaac and I took Lucy for a morning walk, the kids fished, we went to Northwoods

I took this picture of Peyton and Isaac from the opposite side of the camper.  They were looking for rocks.  Then I thought it looked like "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" because they look like they are tiny and standing on the little table ha ha.

We all slept in.  Kenzie called me when I was awake just laying in bed.  I got up after talking with her.  I was so happy to hear from her.  I was going to make pancakes, but didn’t pack the mix.  From now on, I will be using my list.  The kids went fishing.  The campground really emptied out a lot.  Bill took a water sample in and got what was needed for the pool. It is starting to look much better.  Vikki, the kids and I went to Northwoods and got what we needed for the camper, plus a surprise for Melissa.  We went to Dolney’s after that and got Bill’s birthday present.  Came back to the campground and ate lunch.  The kids went fishing again.  The kids came back and said it was sprinkling.  Isaac and I put the chairs In the Clam and  Isaac got the towels off the towel rack and took them in all on his own.  It got really windy all of a sudden and the bikes blew over.  Isaac picked them up and then we put the awning in.  We came in and decided to take naps.  Kimmy called and gave me the info so I can watch the boys show their sheep.  Eli’s was big enough so he was really happy. Me too!  We had a bad signal, so when Kimmy got to the fairgrounds, we hung up.  The kids wanted to fish again, so Vikki made nachos/soft tacos for us.  We had onions from the garden on them and tomatoes from the garden. They were delicious.  We all went for a walk around the campground.  We talked to Melissa while we walked.  When we got back, we played 3-13.  Vikki won. After the kids were in bed, Vikki and I played and I won.  

Day 153, Sunday, 8/16/2020, Bill and I went home for church

We went to check on the frog and now there are three

 Bill and I went home in the morning at 7 so we could get ready for church.   Awesome worship and Pastor’s message was so good.  We went to get take outs from Olive Garden after church.  Bill got dinner size spaghetti with a huge salad, and I got the lunch size with a bowl of soup.  When we got there we pulled into one of the to go parking spots, and before I could call the number, a worker brought our order out and put it in the car.  Nice and safe!  I went out to turn the filter of the pool on and noticed the pool was green. I put Boost in and Bill is keeping the filter on.  I came back to the campground.  Talked to Melissa on the way.  When I was close to the camper, Isaac tried to sneak up and scare me through my window, but I saw him.  I didn’t see Peyton running by my car when I was almost to our camper.  Washed the veggies I had picked from our garden and put them in the refrigerator.  Peyton, Isaac, Vikki and I played 3-13.  I was the winner this time.  Vikki and I went for a bike ride and checked on the kids while they were fishing. They were doing great and having fun.  We checked on the hole where we saw the tree frog and there were two more now.  We went for a walk around the campground and checked on the kids again.  We ate leftover chicken, burgers and potatoes.  When Peyton and Isaac were done fishing, they ate.  We all had drumsticks for dessert.  The kids took showers, then we listened to the Bible before they went to bed.  Vikki and I played 3-13 and dice!

Day 152, 8/15/2020, Charlie and Sue came to spend the day.We had such a fun day!

Charlie and Sue came up for the day.  They didn't want me to take pictures because they didn't go to a relative's graduation party, but came up north

I took my shower, Bill walked around the campground, Vikki took her shower.  Made oatmeal for Bill and I, and a coffee for all of us adults.  Vikki ate and fed the kids.  She played 3-13 with the kids, so she could watch how they play and teach them to play better.  They did great.  Bill and I went for a walk while they played.  We got back, and Vikki peeled potatoes and cut them up while Peyton and I went to the store.  She helped me sanitize the groceries when we got back.  Charlie and Sue came right after that. We visited, played a couple of games of euchre. The guys won both.  Bill made burgers and chicken on the grill and grilled Vikki’s potatoes.  I made corn on the cob.  We ate outside and everything tasted great. We had drumsticks for dessert.  They stayed and visited outside until 8 and then headed for home.  I did dishes while Vikki closed up the clam and put chairs in it because it’s supposed to rain tonight.  Vikki and I walked around the campground and Peyton and Isaac rode their bikes with us.  When we got back, Bill had emptied all the trash cans and took the big bag of trash to the dumpster. Peyton, Isaac, Vikki and I played 3-13.  I was the winner.  The kids went to bed.  Bill, Vikki, and I played 3-13.  I was the winner again. We talked to Melissa. She told us they watched a movie and  in it they said there should be a recipe for life. Evan said, “There is, it’s the Bible.” So true!  We told him on the phone how right he was.  Vikki and I played dice.  She was the winner.  It was such a fun day!  It rained hard and we had lightning and thunder during the night.

Day 151, 8/14/2020, Kimmy and Eli came up, Bill came back, Kimmy had flat tire on the way home, Jared and Her dad to her rescue!

We all slept in.  Adam and I were the first ones up.  I got up at 8:30.  Jacob was still sleeping on the couch bed and Vikki and the kids were still sleeping. I went outside and read my Bible and prayed.  When the others  got up at 9:30, we all had breakfast.  We listened to worship music. Peyton and Isaac went fishing. Jacob went for a bike ride.  Adam hung out with us.

Kimmy got here and we girls played 3-13.  After that, we played a game with Isaac.  We adults ate Kimmy’s yummy rice and Vikki and Kimmy’s yummy potatoes on the grill.  The kids wanted sandwiches. Eli, Peyton and Isaac went fishing.  We had doughnuts and kind bars for a snack.  We were missing Melissa so called and talked to her for a while.  We went swimming. Vikki and Peyton didn’t stay long because we h to go in where it was kind of mucky because we wanted to swim by ourselves.  It wasn’t long before people left and we could get where the bottom was sanding.  We came back and the kids had ice cream sandwiches.  Jacob wasn’t hungry.   Vikkii fixed my shade by the couch.  Kimmy and the boys left and had a flat tire. They stopped at a gas station by Wirth Rd and got some  stuff to try to fix it.  It didn’t work, so Kimmy called Jared and he was heading there.  I called Bill because he was heading back up, and he was right by there, so he went to help. He taught Jacob how to change the tire. Jared got ther and watched him.  Thankful for such a loving family who are always willing to help.  Vikki and I ate the yummy leftovers from lunch and I made egg and bacon sandwiches for Bill, Peyton and Isaac.  We all went for a walk around the campground.  Vikki and I played a game of 3-13 with Peyton and Isaac before bed.  Vikki wine! The kids played great.  Bill, Vikki and I  played and Bill was the winner.  Vikki and I played dice and I was the winner.  Another fun family day!

Eli and Isaac woke up early and were talking and having fun before the rest of us got up.  We slept in till 8:30.  We ate and then Bill and I read our Bibles.  The kids went fishing and were happy they were catching some.  Vikki and I relaxed outside in our comfy chairs .  Bill left at 10.  He was going to pick up an umbrella for our pool deck.  Vikki, Peyton, Isaac, Eli and I went putt putt golfing.  Kimmy,Jacob and Adam got here  right when we finished golfing.  Vikki, Kimmy, Peyton and I played 3-13.  I finally won a game. We ate lunch and had delicious rice with vegetables that Kimmy made  and brought. It was so yummy!  The kids wanted sandwiches.  Well maybe not Peyton and Isaac, but that’s a whole other story.  We had some double chocolate donuts for dessert.  Kimmy played 3-13 out in the Clam with Adam, Isaac, and Peyton .  Adam won!  Vikki and I relaxed outside in our chairs.  I even dozed off for a while.  We went swimming at the beach for a while.  Had drumsticks and ice cream sandwiches for our snack.  Kimmy and Eli left and Jacob and Adam spent the night.  We got McDonald’s and Taco Bell for dinner and Jacob and Vikki sanitized everything, and we brought gut it back to eat. We all went for a fun walk (Isaac rode his bike) around the campground.  We sat outside for a while, then came in and played 3-13 after Peyton and Isaac went to bed.  I was the winner.  We played  game of fast dice Vikki invented.  Adam won.   We ate double stuff Oreos, Cheetos and cheeze it’s for a bedtime snack.  It was such a fun day!

Bill power washed the rest of our deck and did a great job.  He is picking up the umbrella tomorrow at 10.  He went to the Faith Riders meeting at the park by our house.
