We ate breakfast, then worked on spelling and reading.  They did great on their spelling works.  Done in no time.  We played 3-13, but will have to finish the other half of the game next Tuesday.  We decorated for Kenzie's Birthday.  They had fun helping.  Kenzie and Travis got here right after we finished.  When Vikki got here after work, we ate Pizza Buns and Burger Buns, which Kenzie had requested for her birthday.  I called Kimmy...Kenzie wanted to talk to her, then I talked to her.  I am looking forward to them coming over tomorrow.  They opened their cards and gifts and we enjoyed watching them.  Vikki did a photo shoot of Kenzie and they all turned out beautiful.  Rody got here after work and brought a birthday cake he made.  We all had cake and ice cream. I baked more burger buns and sent them home with them.  Travis thinks his brother will really like them.   Had a great day just visiting and enjoying each others company.  Went through some of Kenzie's things I have saved through the years and it brought back lots of memories.  Sure love that girl and love my whole family.

Wed., 11/11/2020, HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENZIE! I LOVE YOU! HAPPY VETERANS DAY BILL! I LOVE YOU1

Happy 23rd Birthday Kenzie!
Bill and Charlie got $15 off their meals at Apple Mountain.  We had the whole place to ourselves the whole time we were there which was nice with Covid.  We figured it would be a place that wouldn't have many people during the week.

Wonderful food and company to enjoy
My veteran hero and I

Bill's big fudge brownie with ice cream.  He did share with me.
Isaac and Peyton are spending the night

Spent my time with the Lord, then called Kenzie to wish her a Happy Birthday.  Bill met Charlie to get their free breakfast at Bob Evans.  I picked up a few things at Jacks.  It was a good quiet time to go.  When I got home, Bill was home and wanted to go to Bed, Bath and Beyond to get his 25% off entire purchase for veterans.  We got some Christmas Shopping done.  We picked up some pizza's and delivered them to Melissa and the boys.  They were so cute waving to us through the windows.  We met Charlie and Sue at Apple Mountain at 4.  We were amazed no one else came to eat while we were there.  It is such a nice place.  Vikki came over and we made pizza buns and cabbage buns for Kenzie's Birthday Celebration tomorrow.  Peyton and Isaac spent the night.  I talked to Melissa quite a while, and she showed me the school project she and Evan have been working on.  So nice, but lots of work.  Evan explained it all to me when they face timed me.  Vikki had to make clay beavers with her kids, they had to paint them, and then draw their habitat and put it in a shoe box.  They had to collect some stuff from outside to put in too. These moms who are being school teachers are keeping busy.  We read our Bible, said our prayers and I tucked them into bed.

Isaac and I got up first.  He played on his phone for a while and I prayed and read my Bible and my Devotion.  Peyton got up and then we ate breakfast.  We worked on spelling words....new words this week that are much easier than the words they had last week which were pretty hard.  We did lots of reading today which was fun. We played 3-13 and had lots of fun.  We ate mac and cheese for lunch and then finished our game.  Vikki came and they had to leave right away so she could get the lessons they had to do at home done.  Bill worked on cleaning off the deck.  Those leaves just keep coming, but we are almost done because there aren't many on the trees anymore.  Yay!  It was beautiful out, so I sat outside for a while.  It started getting windy so I came in.  I made salmon, potatoes in the air fryer and peas for dinner.  After dinner, Bill had to go to the Marine Corp. League Birthday Celebration.  He was honored with two awards.  He was so happy when he came home and told me.  Wives couldn't go this year because of the Coronavirus.  I took some pictures of him and he gave me some that were taken there.  I am so proud of him.  He serves selflessly and generously.  It was really an honor to get the Four Chaplains Award.  He was so surprised.  I am so thankful for his service to our country!

I got up and shortly after Isaac came downstairs.  15 minutes later, Peyton was awake.  After breakfast we worked on learning spelling words.  They did really good.  We decided to surprise Papa and rake the leaves.  Isaac worked just like an adult.  He didn't want to take breaks or quit until the job was done.  He said it was fun when I thanked him for all of his hard work.  Peyton did a great job, but didn't have a very good rake, even though it was the one she wanted.  She still managed to get lots done with it.  She came up with the idea of swinging while pushing leaves away as she was swinging.  She's so fun and funny!  She was willing to take lots of breaks, but still was a very good helper.  They made the job easy.  I tried to pay them, but there was no way they were taking money they said because they just wanted to help.  Our grandkids are all so wonderful and amazing.  Bill came home and took the blower to the rest of the leaves that fell after we were done.  He got quite a few again and blew them to the garden.  They all got burned up.  Vikki took the kids home and worked on their school lessons.  I got to go to Melissa's and go on a nice walk with her and Max.  We had such a nice visit while we were walking.  Max and I talked about how our vacation to Yellowstone was so much fun.  Hailey was home when we got back and we all got to sit outside (it was 73 degrees) and visit more.  Lots of love in our visit today.  Adam showed me his new personal mug.  I borrowed a picture of him with his mug from Kimmy's blog, because I like it better than just the picture of the mug.  He looks so happy in it.  I talked for a long time to my best friend, Vikki!  We had such a nice chat.  We are missing each other with Covid going on, so calling each other more.  I was so sad to hear that our dear friend Phyllis Eaton passed away today.  We have so many memories of special times with her and her family.  She was one of the most loving and kind people I have ever known.  Our huge loss and heaven's huge gain!  We will see her again thanks to Jesus!  Vikki brought the kids back, and we watched a Full House.  Then we prayed, read the Bible and I got to tuck those blessings in bed.  I am blessed with such an amazing and wonderful family!

Isaac and Peyton

There were some people at church exposed to Covid and Rody let Vikki know show she could tell us they were there.  We decided to stay safe and stay home and watch the service on line.  Good message once again.  I made eggs, hash browns, bacon, and toast for brunch.  We were going to call Stacie to see if we could stop over today and take the surprise we got them on our trip.  She texted us first, and asked if we wanted to come eat dinner with them because they were missing us.  We told her we couldn't come for dinner, but would come for a social distance visit outside.  We had a nice time enjoying framily...friends who are like family and the beautiful weather.  Stacie's dad was there too!   Kody was a cute as can be and loved the extra long licorice we brought for them.  Stacie and I enjoyed a nice walk along their pond.  I called Bill to tell him to join us so he could see all the work and clearing that has been done.  It was 73 degrees and so nice to be outside.  Kody tried to catch a chicken to show us, but that mean old rooster would peck at him and scare him.  Kody sure can run fast wen the rooster is chasing him.  He needs to get into track when he gets older.  Bill went to keep the rooster away for Kody, but the rooster never gave up.  Vikki came over and we had chili again.  The kiddos came too, but they wanted pizza when they got home. Vikki got a call and they need her to work tomorrow.  They all left and then came back with what they needed to spend the night tonight and tomorrow night.  I'm one blessed nana.  Vikki played some new worship songs she loves for us.  She always lets me know of great songs.  Adam and I texted.  They are having fun playing soccer in this nice weather.  The boys don't have school on Friday, so they will all be coming to spend the day.  Yay!  I am so happy!  Peyton and Isaac watched a couple of Full House episodes with papa and I, and then I read the Bible to them, prayed with them and tucked them in.
