Beautiful rock Debbie painted for me

Woke up thanking the Lord for His goodness and many blessings!  Got up at 5 and got the turkey stuffed and in the oven, the ham in and the cheesy potatoes baked.  I texted Hailey and told her Happy Thanksgiving and let her know I love her and will miss her tons today.  She texted me back a sweet message.  Put candy and nuts in dishes.  Kimmy, Jared and the boys came and Kimmy helped get the sausage, cheese and crackers on plates.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came next, then Kenzie and Travis, and Rody came a little later.  We all snacked and visited.  Jared and Kimmy mashed the potatoes (their traditional job)  and they turned out delicious as always.  Vikki warmed the rolls Kimmy and I made, and we all sat the food out when it was ready.  I read a Psalm 104:1-5 and then Bill had everyone take turns saying what we were thankful for.  All were in agreement that we are very thankful for family!  Vikki made a beautiful and yummy jello.   We ate and then Kimmy and Vikki put all the food away and cleaned up the kitchen.  They do an amazing job and are so fast at it.  They do this for me every year and are such blessings.  After that, Melissa, Bruce and the kids came over, then Aunt Debbie came over and we all gathered in the yard so we could social distance because of Covid.  Aunt Debbie gave all the grandkids their Christmas Ornaments (face masks this year)  They are so cute and will sure be a memory.  She gave Bill and I an ornament with Nana and Papa on it and all the grandkids names on mittens.  It is so cute and was so sweet of her.  It's actually one she gave me before, but it is very cute with Papa, Nana and all the grandkids names on it.  I will have one to hang in the family room now.  Love it!  She gave me a special rock she painted for me that is really pretty.  She stayed about a half hour and then had to go get her Thanksgiving meal ready.  She sure makes this tradition she started long ago special and fun. We al love Aunt Debbie!!! We all stayed out by the fire for a long time and had a nice visit.  It was nice seeing all the cousins visit and enjoy each others company.  Jared's family had a zoom meeting with him, Kimmy and the family.  We all said hi!  So nice that they could do that where they didn't get to get together in Georgia this year. We came in and Travis made a plate up to take to his brother, and I made a plate to take to Sue.  Kenzie and Travis left then, and Vikki and I took the plate of food over to Sue.  We came back and Kimmy and Jared will still zooming.  When they got done, we all had dessert.  We had yummy apple pie that Kimmy made and chocolate banana and banana cream pie that I made. Peyton and Isaac just at Cookies and Cream ice cream with caramel.  The kids all watched the Three Stooges and a movie.  Vikki, Kimmy, Jared, Isaac and I played 3-13.  Isaac won by 1 point.  Jared ended up coming in 2nd!  The rest is not important enough to mention.  Rody, left and then the rest of us all played pictionary.  It was so much fun.  They guys were agains the girls and were in the lead the whole game by quite a bit.  The girls pulled ahead at the end to win.  Such a fun family and such a great day! We have so much to be thankful for!

Evan made another snowman...Here he is with his two Movie Star Snowmen as he calls them

We got about an inch of snow.

We were all sitting at the table eating breakfast, when Bill got a call.  It was Charlie!  He put it on speaker phone so we could all hear him.  It made us so happy!  We each got to talk to him.  Peyton and Isaac loved saying hi.  He said he will probably be coming home on Friday.  Yay!  I worked on spelling and reading with the kiddos.  They did great.  Vikki got here before we were done, so we didn't get to play 3-13 today.  I warmed up spaghetti for the kids to have for lunch before they went home.  I cleaned the basement and the rest of the house that needed cleaning, touched up more cupboards, made cranberry relish, and cooked burger.  Melissa called just as I was getting cards ready to take to the post office to mail.  I left and it was starting to snow.  By the time I went to the post office, then drove to the cemetery to make sure the wreath hadn't blown away in the strong winds we had last week, it was snowing like crazy.  Huge flakes were coming down.  I took pictures when I got close to our house.  I got my plant light today. I'm excited to get my lemon tree growing better.  I texted with Adam, and Face time Vikki and the kids a couple of times.  Got a couple of good chats in with Melissa too.  I talked to Sue in the evening and she said she couldn't see Charlie anymore because of Covid restrictions they are putting in effect.  She will be coming home tomorrow now.  I messaged Bill's sister, Angie in Kansas and she is still sick.  She has Covid.  The doctor gave her something that helped her feel a little better today.  She almost ended up in ER.  Sure am praying for her.  Peeled oranges for Bill and I to eat for a snack tonight.

Monday, 11/23/2020, Charlie got a couple of tubes out today, Bill got me the new I Phone 12, Vikki brought the twins to spend the night

This was taken on my new phone the regular way

I tapped on the screen after taking the regular picture and then it took a wide view picture

Tried my phone camera on Bill while he was reading his Bible

Bill took the log splitter back at 8 this morning.  Then he came home and got ready to go to the VA to get a cap put on his tooth.  Because of Covid, they could only fill it.  On the way home, he stopped at Verizon and checked to see how much he could get off for my phone, if I upgraded.  He talked to Rody and they thought it was a good deal, so he took me there and we got me an I Phone 12.  I got a blue one.  It is so nice and the screen is bigger, but the phone is smaller, so much nicer to hold, carry etc.  They have made it so easy to transfer things from old phones to new ones, that I could do it myself.  It has some changes, but so much is the same as my other phone it made it easy to learn.  Vikki came over and showed me stuff that was different and was a huge help.  Peyton and Isaac stayed here and we had grapes, which they love, and watched a couple of Full Houses.  I read the Bible to them, we prayed and then I tucked them in.  I talked to Melissa, Face timed with Vikki and texted with Adam.  I touched up the kitchen cupboards after the kids went to bed.  We had someone come to church with Covid Sunday.  Bill had warned Pastor that she might be there, even though he told her son to tell her not to go.  Her son tested positive, then she came down with the same symptoms a couple of days later.  Her first two tests were negative, but Sunday night she got her positive results.  Pastor saw her there when he came in, so had our other pastor talk to her and tell her she had to leave.  They contacted everyone she was around, which wasn't too many.  It would have been lots more if they had let her stay.  Now we will be having on line church only next Sunday.  I'm glad we have stayed home the last 3 Sundays and watched it online.  Praying this is over soon!
