I got up at 8. I read my Bible, then got ready. Kimmy came around 9:30 after she took Eli to band camp. It was so good to see her and get a big hug. Arnie was so cute and so good. Vikki called to see if we wanted drinks from Panera and we told her lemonade. She picked some up and then made us all lemonades with blueberries and frozen strawberries in it. Vikki, Kimmy, Peyton and I left to go to Kimmy’s appointment early to help her pick out glasses. Jared was there when we got there. He was filling out forms. Kimmy filled out her forms and he helped since he had his right there so gave her numbers and stuff she needed. Then he got called back for his appt. so we girls (I should say Vikki because she is the one good at picking out frames) she found a pair right away, and then after Kimmy got called back she found a few more frames. Then Jared came out and sat down to try frames the worker had got for him to try. He asked Vikki’s opinion as he tried them on. Then Kimmy came out and she and Vikki both helped him. Peyton and I were waiting and decided to go use our free scoop coupons at Culver’s. She had asked me if I had any. Vikki went with us but didn’t get anything. Peyton got vanilla ice cream with cookie dough on top, and I got chocolate with strawberries on top. We went back to the parking lot at the eye doctor’s and ate our ice cream. Vikki went inside. They all came out and then after a few minutes in the parking lot, we left. Jared went back to work and we came home. Bill and Isaac were working outside on weed whacking and mowing the weeds on the sides of the ditch. It was super hot out too. Then we pulled in the garage and they had taken the doors off and put the bar doors on and had the top off. They sure had done a lot. Thanks Isaac and Bill. Melissa, Jack and Wookie came over. We had a nice time hanging out. Tomorrow Jack is going to be at the fair with kids he has trained to show dogs in agility, et. I am so proud of him. I am excited to go see him tomorrow at the fair. Everyone had to leave around 4:30. I went outside and pulled more weeds in front of the shed deck. I got another big tub full. Bill mowed the edge of the ditch. We went on a date after he took his shower. We went to Subway and ate subs, then we went to Menards and he picked up a new combination lock and handle for the back door to replace the broken one. After that we walked around the store and looked at stuff. We left there and went to Woody’s for ice cream. He got a medium cone dipped in chocolate and I got a small chocolate ice cream cone dipped in chocolate. We both got bowls to put them in because it was hot out and they were melting fast. We sat in the parking lot next door and ate them. We sure were happy and surprised when Kimmy and Jared pulled in next to us. They had the same idea of going to Woody’s for ice cream because they had been in Saginaw. They saw our red Jeep, so came to see us before getting their ice cream. We had fun talking to them and it was the first time Bill had seen Jared after his close call, so he told Jared how good it was to see him and that he was OK. After that they went and got their ice cream and we went to Panera and got our free drinks to have for tomorrow. We saw that they were having a FoodFestival at the Mall and had lots of food trucks and also lots of booths with things people made and art. We just drove through and went to Panera. We left for home after that and as we traveled, there was Kimmy and Jared right next to us. They held up their ice cream cones and we held up our free Panera drinks. So funny how we ran into them again. We came home and I turned on the Brownville Church Revival and watched it. God sure moved upon the people who were wanting more of Him. It sure stirred my heart. I sure want more of Him!
