Kimmy and the boys came up.  We went to Tawas and Oscoda to spend the day.  We walked through some shops in Tawas, then walked out on the dock.  We went to Oscoda Beach after that and ate pizza and breadsticks at a picnic table.  We swam lots.  The water was great and we had so much fun throwing squishy bomb and catching it.  Kimmy, Vikki, Eli and Adam ended up over by the dock  Squishy got thrown and floated way out.  I was on the dock when that happened and I told them to just let squishy go.  Vikki was going to try to swim out for it, but Kimmy told her no. Then Kimmy took off to get it.  The current was pretty strong there and she had to swim out 30 feet to get it.  It wasn’t easy and gave her a scare.  I didn’t see her do it, but it sure gave me a scare hearing about it.  It wasn’t worth taking a chance like that.  I love my Kimmy and  don’t want anything happening to her.  I have been thanking God for protecting her.  It was evening by the time we left! What a fun day!  Vikki left when we got back to the camper.  She has to go to work tomorrow.  We were sure sad when she left as this is our last camping trip of the year.  She's a fun camping buddy!
I am keeping Peyton and Isaac with me.  Kimmy and the boys left at the same time as Vikki. They helped me pack up all the chairs because we leave tomorrow. Isaac went to the clubhouse for a while and Peyton played at the playground.  I took a bike ride and had them come back to play 3-13.  Isaac is winning, but we have to finish tomorrow.   We prayed and then I tucked them in.  Read my Bible after that and went to bed. I’m tired after all the exercise I got today!

I was the winner! Great game.  Peyton didn’t finish playing

I went to prayer, Bill went to pray over Pastor Ken with the Elders, then we both went into service.  It was Celebration Sunday with a baby dedication, baptisms, new members and a graduate honored.  We all got a huge yummy cookie afterwards. Bill and I got Culver’s afterward.  Everyone working there wore masks.  We had burgers, shared a large fry, and had concrete mixers.  When we got home I packed what I needed and headed back to the campground. Bill went to Caro to the CMA chapter meeting.  He called me when he got home.  Vikki, the kids and I went swimming.  We ate spaghetti, then Issac made us a nice fire.  The kids played at the small playground by us.  Vikki and I played 3-13.  She was the winner.  We all went on a two mile bike ride around the campground.  Then we made s’mores!  Yum!

Beautiful sunset tonight.  Loved how the rectangle cloud was there

We slept in this morning.  I was the first one up at 8.  I went outside and read my Bible and prayed.  Peyton came outside after about a half hour.  A short time later everyone else got up.  We ate breakfast, then went for a morning swim.  Vikki stayed at the camper. She's not a morning swimmer, but the rest of us love morning swims with nobody in the pool.  Jacob, Adam, Peyton, Hailey and I played a game of 3-13.  Adam won this one.  We were all over a hundred and close.  The kids took some bike rides.  We ate lunch, then went into town later for ice cream.  Kimmy called while we were there.  We went back to the campground and the boys got their things gathered and we left to meet Kimmy, Jared, Eli and Isaac halfway.  Hailey rode with us.  We brought Isaac back to the campground with us.  We sure missed him.  Now we are missing Jacob and Adam.  Sure love spending time with grandkids.  We ate spaghetti for dinner, then went for a swim.  Hailey and I packed our things when we got to the camper and headed home.  We decided to do that instead of getting up at six in the morning and come home.  I prayed over her for God's wisdom, blessing, protection, favor and much more since she will be starting her senior year before I see her again.  I came home and watered my thirsty flowers and plants.  Talked to Bill and caught up.  Did some laundry and worked on the blog.

Friday, 8/20/21, Went to fair to watch grandsons, Melissa and family came over, Jacob and Adam camped with us,

Adam went with Papa to help Fred move a desk to Shani’s. Peyton, Isaac, and I went for a morning bike ride around the campground. After lunch we left for the fair.  We watched Jacob and Eli show a horse, sheep, cow and steer in the fail. They did great.  We walked through the merchant buildings, then got cider slushes from Leaman’s, then I took Vikki down the road to meet Bill and get her car that just got fixed.  She and Bill went to Kimmy’s after that to pick up Jacob and Adam and bring them to the campground.  Bill went to Charlie and Sue's for stuffed peppers after that.  Peyton and I came home and ate McDonalds.  Melissa, Bruce, Jack and Evan came to our house to swim.  I had a nice visit with Melissa outside until Hailey called and told me she was ready for me to pick her up.  Hailey and I went up to the campground.  We all went for a swim in the inside pool only had 3 other people in it.  We played 3-13.  Jacob won in the last round, but it sure was a close game.

Thurs., 8/19/21, Went to meet Kimmy, checked on Vikki’s car, Went and went to Schaard Rd., swam and biked

Me and Vikki on Schaard Rd.

Showered, did morning reading and prayer. When Vikki and the kids got up, we ate, then got ready and left to meet Kimmy.  We met at Meijer as it was getting to hot for them at the fair and they had things to get done at home.  Kimmy gave us each a snack and juice box before we left!  I have such generous kids, always thinking of others.  We stopped down the road from there to see if Vikki’s car was done. Bill texted me while Vikki was checking and said it wouldn’t be ready till tomorrow because they had to order a part.  Vikki came out and said she talked to the owner and they remembered each other from the church service at BayShore.  Jared had told us a Christian owned the business. We headed back to the campground then, took a little side trip to Schaard road to show the kids.  Got back to the campground, and took an hour nap.  We walked and went swimming in the inside, then outside pool. Went on a bike ride around the campground, talked to Paul, and relaxed in our hammocks.
