Stopped for gas. I finished putting the gas in while Bill used the restroom. |

My alarm went off at six and Ziggy asked from the front of the camper if that alarm was for him. He was already packed and just about to leave. I had planned to be up and ready first to make him a coffee before he left. At least I had gotten everything all set for him the night before and told him what to do. Bill got up and told him goodbye and I told him good bye through the door. Bill prayed over him before he left and I agreed from afar. He left for his home in Illinois, and was driving it in one day.
We got ready, ate, then packed up. Bill rode the motorcycle back to where our trailer was parked and I drove the motor home. Bill loaded it on the trailer after he had it connected to the camper then we both worked on tightening the straps. We met Ron and Barb at Walmart’s parking lot and the started on our trip back home. We made a couple of stops for gas and bathroom breaks. We made our lunches and dinners and ate in the camper. We snacked along the way. I buckled up on the couch and put my feet up on the table benches for a while. My feet were swollen in the morning. Bill noticed them right away.
We parked in a rest area around 7, and spent the night. Bill and I finished a game of 3-13 we had gotten to round 7 on and had to quit. Then we played another game. He won both but not by too much. We slept pretty good! I can’t wait to get home and see the kids and grandkids!
