Someone driving across the road of drained Like Wilhelmina
We all went to the morning service. Afterward, Doug, Sue, Art, Pat, Bill and I rode our motorcycles with the planed ride group to Oklahoma. There were about 50 motorcycles going. We ate at the Hochatown Saloon/Restaurant. It was huge and very nice. We got a table right away and a very sweet waitress. Sue and I decided to split a triple decker club sandwich. I ordered fries and she ordered an appetizer. Our food came mand the sandwich was delicious! We shared the fries, our waitress sat Sue’s appetizer in front of her husband. He started eating them, then his fried pickles came and he realized the other appetizer was Sue’s. He passed them to Sue and sh told me they were half fries I thought and explained they were tiny French fries that were breaded. I started eating some. Then we couldn’t really figure out what they tasted like, so she looked on the menu and it said Calf fries, so she said they were beef so had everyone try them but Bill and another lady from Georgia. Pat thought the texture reminded her of chicken gizzards. No one else could figure out what they were. I cut one in half but couldn’t figure anything out. When our waitress came to give us our bills, Sue asked us what they were. She smiled and said she didn’t want to tell us so to Google it. She was just a young mom. She finally told us they were cow testicles! Talk about being grossed out and laughing till we were in tears, that about covers all of our emotions. Bill and the other lady were pretty happy they didn’t try them. I asked our waitress if she had anything she needed prayer for and she said she had two small kids, was going to nursing school and working this job too so could always use prayer. We prayed for her,
We left and headed back to Mena and the couple we met at our table from Georgia rode with us. They went back to the campground and Doug and Sue and Bill and I went to see Lake Wilhelmina which has intentionally been drained. It was pretty fascinating to see since there was a road across it and a truck was driving across it. We rode back to the main road and got stopped by a railroad crossing because the little yellow one or two manned things were going across. We saw three and then about every three minutes another one woul go.. It took about 15 minutes. Then Doug and Sue went to Walmart and we came back to the campground. Ziggy was walking to the pavilion and saw us go by on the other road, so came and visited with us for a while. He went down to eat but Bill and I were still full so didn’t go. We all went to the service. Worship was awesome and the service was amazing. God is sure glorified in this place! We went back to the camper and all visited more than went to be.
