The sweet lady to the left of the man in the blue shirt in the center had this cottage at Bay Shore.  She was always so sweet and looked just like Grandma Daisy.  I always looked forward to seeing her, but this year I found out she passed away.  I almost felt like I was losing grandma Daisy again. So weird.  Happy she knew the Lord and is with Him now.  Also happy I found this picture of her.

After spending time with the Lord and reading His Word, I started cleaning the house.  It hasn't had a good cleaning in a while since we have been gone camping so much.  Felt good to get it done.  Stopped to watch the noon news with Bill and then cleaned some more.  At 2:45 I went to Vikki's for a few minutes then headed to His Restoration to mow the grass with Kim Reminder.  We tried to start the lawn mower and couldn't.  Then Kim said she remembered you had to clamp the bars together with the clamp someone had on it.  Well she started it right the first pull and away I went.  I couldn't stop it from propelling so had to go fast on turns and when I cut around poles I had to pull really hard to pull it back where I needed it.  The sun was out bright so I was really hot and sweating.  Bill came over after he was done at the VA hospital.  I asked him to pick up the eave trough so I could cut under it as I couldn't stop to pick it up.  He mowed a couple of spots for me and showed me it was clamped wrong.  Actually the other bar was the one that needed the clamp.  Things went much better and much slower on turns after that.  Kim did the weed whacking, blew the grass away and watered plants.  Just as we were leaving, I got a phone call.  It was the Ford Dealer wanting to let me I could bring my damaged vehicle in.  I told her I didn't have a damaged vehicle.  Then she said what kind of vehicle it was.  I gave her dad's number to call.  Then when I got to Vikki's I called dad to ask about the damaged vehicle.  He said he was going to tell me.  He even gave her my number.  A week ago we were in Pinconning and he told me jokingly there was something I was going to have to forgive him for.  I right away asked what he hit with the lawnmower but didn't get an answer.  Walked around the yard the next day but didn't see any damage.  Well, today, a week later and after the call,  he told me the tractor got stuck in the ditch out front and he had to pull it out with the truck.  He hit the brick light post out front with the truck.  He was trying to miss hitting my bush we had planted last year.  Could have been upset but just too thankful he didn't get hurt bad and the tractor didn't go way down in the ditch with him on it.  

Went to our officer's meeting tonight.  It was at Sullivan's because the Texan went out of business.  Nice surprise....Jackie, Craigie's mom, works there as a hostess. We hugged and were so happy to see and talk to each other.

I am missing these sweet boys so much.  So happy Kimmy is putting pictures on Facebook.

Dad put my odometer on my bike today.  I put my bag and water bottle holder on yesterday.  Took it for a test drive a couple of miles today and it was so nice.  Had my music playing on my speaker in my  bag.  Thanks for the idea Vikki.

I picked lots of beets today and got them ready for the freezer.  Got 12 bags and some for supper too  Mocha tried them and loved them.  Weird dog.  I was really happy when Kimmy and the boys called today.  Loved hearing their voices.  So thankful for cell phones.  That made my day.  Vikki, Peyton, Isaac, Mykenzie, and Maddie met me at the Bike trail to walk at 7:45.  We walked 2 miles. Peyton and Isaac were pretty tired from swimming at Aunt Debbies, but still did pretty good.

Went to breakfast this morning.  Chuck, Sue, Loraine Don, Louise, Bill and I were the only ones there.  Wes and Gayla are at the Shack for their anniversary, so we put my phone on speaker and wished them a Happy Anniversary.  Rubbed it in that they had their banana split last night.  

Bill set it up yesterday to have our Faith Rider's meeting at Sullivan's since the Texan closed last Tues.  We are going there for our officer's meeting Thurs. too.  I paid the AAA ins. bill on my way home and met Kenzie at Planet Fitness to get her set up to go there.  When I got home Vikki called to say Rody's mom was having Peyton and Isaac so we decided to go for a bike ride.  Asked dad and he ended up coming too which was so nice.  We rode 8 miles according to Vikki's phone and 11 according to dad's odometer.  I going with dad's since it was so windy I figure that counts for extra miles ha ha.  We went as far as it goes behind Walmart on Bay and then turned around and rode it to Tittabawassee.  Saw Aunt Debbie on Bay Rd. by Walmart.  She honked at us.  It was hard going against the wind but what a BREEZE riding with the wind.  So nice to ride with these two.  Vikki had to encourage me a couple of times when I felt like turning back.  Thanks Vikki.

Kenzie was sleeping here last night on the couch and ended up moving to the floor in the family room to stretch out.  She stretched alright and knocked the tv trays and one fell on her head.  Ouch!
When she got up I asked if she wanted to get ready and go out to breakfast.  She asked if Bryce could just go to breakfast with us so I thought it would be a good opportunity to talk to them about the Lord and getting in His Word every day.  They listened and Kenzie said she does read every day.  Praying for this sweet girl that I love so much.  Praying for Bryce too.  We saw Sherry Starke in Bob Evans.  She was in the booth across from us and one back with her two grandsons, Jonathan and Garrett.  Had a nice visit with her.   Came home and we all were tired so we all took a nap.  Kenzie left for work at 4:40 p.m.  I made sirloin burgers on the grill, baked potatoes on the grill and peas for dinner.  Also had tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden.  At around 7, Vikki and I met at the rail trail to ride our  bikes.  Peyton and Isaac did great for 3 yr. olds.  They had a few moments, but we went 4 miles and that's pretty far for them.  Had a good time and happy to get exercise.

Clouds are rolling,

We went to church.  The principal from Bethlehem was there to speak about the school.  Bruce, Chrystal and the principal all did an excellent job talking about the school and what a blessing it is.  Hopefully families will respond and put there children in school there.  It is a wonderful school.  After church we went to the Olive Garden with Chris, Tina, Jeff and Debbie.  All of us had soup and salad except Bill and Debbie had spaghetti.  It started pouring when we were in the restaurant and I got drenched going to the car even though Bill pulled up close for me.  Came home and took a nap and then went for a short walk.  Kenzie called and asked if she could come stay here as it was hailing as she was going to leave work.  Glad to have her with us.

8/1/15

I went to pick up Mocha from Vikki's and 5 minutes later Melissa came to pick up Abby.  Nice to all get to visit.

Went to Purtells in Pinconning on our motorcycles.

Woke up at 7 and called my sister, Brenda, to wish her Happy Birthday,   We had a nice visit over the phone and caught up on each other.   Then started packing some stuff.  Headed over for class after thant.
