2/24/17...Went to the Sports zone, Picked up cabbage rolls at Freeland United Methodist Church, Went to Vickey and Jeff's and prayed for Jeff's foot., Went to Hailey's Spelling B

Looked out and saw this big old Hawk sitting by the bird feeder.  It flew and then I remembered I had just let Mocha out so I ran to get her.  She was in the garage shaking so must of knew she shouldn't go out.

Hailey spelling a word in the spelling B.

Proud of Hailey!

Hailey giving me a smile (then the lady stuck the paper right in front of Hailey's face.  I got the picture just in time.

Bill in his comfy rocking chair at the Camper Show with his new marshmallow roasting sticks that extend.  He talked the guy down about $1.50.  He's a wheeler dealer!

Criss crossing his sticks

Wes getting pretty comfy!  He and Gayla bought two  of these chairs.  See the big boxes behind.  Bill carried two of them together out to the car because he didn't want Wes carrying them after heart surgery not long ago.  Bill's a good man!

Boys will be boys!  Wes and Bill having fun at the Camper Show with the marshmallow sticks.  They have a multi purpose I guess.  Gayla taking a picture

Yummy dessert Amy and I made with cinnamon rolls and apples and some other ingredients.  Easy and delicious.  I will be making this again.

Went to the Sportszone and walked 2 and 1/4 miles.  Came home and Bill said Wes and Gayla want to go to the camper show with us and then out to eat to discuss our trip to Florida.  We said ok.  Went to Freeland to pick up Homemade Egg Rolls from the church.  They are yummy.  Left to go to Vickey and Jeff's to take an elevated toilet seat for Jeff to use after his foot surgery.  Visited with them and then prayed for Jeff before leaving.  Went to Vikki's and didn't go in but handed some medicine for the kids and some egg rolls in to her at the door.  Left there and went to Hailey's spelling B.  Just as I walked down the hall and got in front of the bathroom door, Melissa came out of it.  Good timing.   Hailey did good and got second place in her class.  Very proud of her and how she works hard and gets good grades in school.  When the spelling B was almost over, I got a message from Amy Ward asking if Bill and I liked onions and green peppers in our pasta sauce.  I checked and realized we were supposed to be going there for dinner.  (we had talked about it but I didn't know it was for sure). I let Bill know and he called Wes and Gayla and told them we could go to the camper show, but would have to go to dinner with them tomorrow instead.  The Spelling B ended and I headed home.  Bill and I went to the Ryder Center and got in the elevator.  As we were going down, we could see Wes and Gayla out the window of the elevator.  They had just got there.  We had fun looking at all the campers and got plenty of exercise.  Afterwards, we bought bamboo pillows.  Gayla got a pillow for her too.  We saw them at Sam's for $84 and here they were having a sale for the same kind for $19.  Wes and Gayla got two reclining chairs.  We had fun sitting in them and goofing around.  I was happy Bill poked holes in the boxes for his hands to go in and carried both of them so Wes wouldn't have to.  Wes still has to be careful after his heart surgery.  Went to Dennis and Amy's after that.  Surprised to see Dennis Watkins there too.  Happily Surprised.  He just got back from at trip down by southern California last night.  We ate chicken parmesan and then Amy and I made a delicious apple cinnamon  dessert.  We played Horsecollar after that.  It was a really fun game we played there before.  Amy was the winner.  Afterward, we prayed over Amy and Dennis and prayed for their family.  Then we walked through their new house and prayed in each of the rooms.  They love the Lord and are having many attacks from the enemy (Satan) so we took authority in the name of Jesus(Name above every name)  Love them and that God brought us together.

2/23/17...Picked Kenzie up to spend the day, Went to Elder's and wives meeting at Pastor's house, Got haircut

Spent the day with this sweet granddaughter!
Crystal put this picture of me and Celeste on Facebook today.  So many great teaching memories with all of my sweet kiddos through the years.  Celeste is a big 7th grader now.

I went to get my hair cut at Catherine's today.  We had a really nice visit while she did my hair.  After I left her house, I went to pick up Mykenzie.  It was another beautiful day with 50 degree temps today.  We were eating our soup and Kimmy called to say she was stopping in.  I quick heated up a bowl of veggie soup for her to have when she got here.  She didn't have long tasty because she had to get back to check on Della.  We enjoyed her visit lots though.  Kimmy dropped off the birthday gift I ordered for Eli.  She picked it up after her dentist appt.  Kenzie baked my dump cake for the Elder's meeting tonight and also made a white cake for her papa.  He was very happy of course.  She helped me do some cleaning I needed to get done before I go to Florida.  We looked through some old pictures which was fun.  She is sure fun to be around.  It was nice getting with the Elders and their wives.  Joan made us delicious pasta and chicken parmesan.  Tina made a yummy salad and I brought the dessert Kenzie made.  We had a good meeting.  Love this group God has put together.

2/22/17...65 degrees out and beautiful! Had Hailey come spend girl time with me.

I was happy to see Peyton and Isaac (and Lenny) got out of the house after being sick

Cute picture of Shani and James

It was so nice out, Mocha and I sat out.  She enjoyed the sun and I read my Bible and enjoyed my time with the Lord!

Hailey had fun on the trampoline

She sure is good at flips

Went to sports zone and walked 3 miles.  A young guy that walks super fast and reminds me of Louise's grandson, Nick, always passes me really fast (and I think I am walking pretty fast).  Today he slowed down when he got next to me and told me he liked my shirt.  I wore my shirt that says "Living free to worship Him" on it that I got at a ladies church retreat.  Love when someone comments on my tee shirts with Christian Sayings on them.   I came home and made vegetable soup.  Took some to Vikki for when they are better.  Wore my face mask and washed my hands really good when I dropped it off.  Came home and decided to check and see if Hailey could come over if she didn't have too much homework.  Got a call that she wanted to come so I went to pick her up.  Took her to Taco Bell and then we came home and she jumped on the trampoline.  After that we watched the movie, Do You Believe.  Went to Aldi's and Walmart to walk around before I took her home.  Sure had fun with that sweetie.  Was happy to hear Vikki, Rody and the kids got out today and were feeling better.  Then I got messages saying Vikki and Peyton weren't feeling good again.  Praying.

2/21/17 Went to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned.

Went to breakfast, had devotions and took prayer requests.  Left there and stopped at Melissa's to drop Hailey shirt off.  Went to get some groceries at Kroger's after that.  Went to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned.  My hygienist told me the dentist stayed home sick today.  She cleaned my teeth, talking constantly.  She lives on our road.  She said she wants to come to our church sometime.  It was raining, but was warm out still.  The sun came out in the afternoon which was nice.  Finished doing the newsletter for Faith Riders and got it sent out.  Bill went to an officer's meeting, but I am staying home to get some packing for Florida done.

2/20/17....Peyton, Isaac and Vikki are sick today. So nice out that I hung our sheets out on the line.

Isaac with his bucket and Peyton laying around.  Poor sweeties are sick along with their mommy today.

Love having sheets on the line.  They smell so good when they go back on the bed.

I was shopping today and found this cute shirt for Hailey for $3.  Couldn't pass that up.

Mikayla, Hailey, Alli and Kelly at Bavarian Lodge for Mikayla's 13th Birthday Celebration
Was sad to see that Vikki, Peyton and Isaac are real sick.  Praying for them to feel better fast.  Got ready and did laundry.  Beautiful out so I hung it out on the line to dry.  I went shopping after that.  I was trying to find a cover up for swimming.  I went to Walmart, Target, Gordmans, Burlingtons, TJ Max's, Kohls, and then Meijer's.  Found one at Kohls but it was $40 and no way was I going to pay that.  I left to go to my last store, Meijer's and found one and it was on sale for $17.  It's pretty much like the one Vikki had gotten me which I loved.  I also found a $5 top I liked for me and a $3 for Hailey.  Borrowed this picture of the girls at Mikayla's birthday party.  What a great group of girls who love the Lord!  Thankful Hailey has such nice friends.

2/19/17... Went to church, went for a mile walk, went for a motorcycle ride

Shani's little guy is crawling all over and pulling himself up to stuff now.
Beautiful weather in the high 50's.  Nice day for a ride!!!

Going down River Rd.

Loved seeing this eagle's nest with two eagles sitting in the tree by it

Melissa and Bruce's family room turned out beautiful.  What a difference with the wallpaper and chair rail down and newly painted walls.  Bruce did a great job!
We went to church.  Stacie and Kody were there today.  Isaac was worshipping so cute.  Came home and got a text that Peyton was sick and crying because her legs hurt. Started praying right away.
I went for a walk because it was so nice outside.  Got about a mile down the road and heard a motorcycle coming.  Bill told me to hop on and we rode home to get dressed for a longer motorcycle ride.  We went 30 miles.  It was so nice and I didn't get cold at all.  When we were going down River Rd., I saw an eagle's nest with two eagles sitting in the tree by it.  This is the fourth next close by around here that I know of.  Love seeing them.  We turned around so I could take a picture.

2/18/17...Went to Kyle and Ellen's Wedding, Bill helped do the service

Loved going to Kyle Krause's wedding today.

Not the clearest picture, but I love the way Kyle and his mom are looking at each other.  So cute!

Bill doing part of the wedding but I was at an angle where I couldn't get him in the picture
I borrowed these pictures someone on the other side of the church took of Bill doing his part of the wedding.

Cute picture.  It reminded Vikki and I of the video of Kyle as a baby a few months old where he would stick his lips out when they told him to and then stop and then do it again over and over.  It was so funny.  Guess he was practicing for this day!

Bill took me to I Hop for breakfast this morning.  Great breakfast!  Stopped to get a card for the wedding afterwards.  We went to Kyle's wedding today.  Bruce didn't go because he took their kids to the Hockey game.  Hailey was singing the American National Anthem and the Canadian National Anthem at the Dow Event Center with the choir from her school.  They sounded amazing on the video.  The wedding was very nice and Bill did a great job.  We have always been very close with Krause's and the kids call us Aunt and Uncle.  It was such an honor for Bill to be asked to do part of the wedding.

We had a nice time at our family table at the reception.  Pastor Joliff sat with us too. The food was yummy and so was the cake.  I am so proud of my girls and their husbands.  They are always so sweet and are great examples for the Lord.
How blessed we are!  Kimmy and Jared got lots of calls from Adam.  Papa and I were happy to get to talk to him too.  Happy no lambs came while they were at the wedding or reception.
