6/11/19...Went to our breakfast..Bill had blood test and then came, Vikki, Kimmy and I took Matthew out for lunch, Picked Evan and Jack up to go home with Kimmy

Beautiful peonies from the yard

Adam and Eli...we were listening to worship music and watching the singers on tv.  Love those Russell boys

Vikki, Kimmy, Matt and me at Pablanos

Our Garden is so wet it looks like we won't get to plant one this year.  Still going to try to get corn in if it gets dry, even if it's late

I went to breakfast.  Bill had a blood test so he came after that.  Loraine's great grandson who is 10 months was there.  He was 14 ounces when he was born and was in the NICU a long time.  He is doing great now and was such a good baby during breakfast.  What a miracle!  After breakfast, I needed to drop something off at Melissa's.  Visited with Melissa for a few minutes and got my hugs and I love you's from the kids.  I am so blessed with wonderful grandkids.  Kimmy and the boys were coming over, so I headed home.  When I got there, the boys were watching worship groups on the tv. I sure love how those boys love to sing Christian music.  They have amazing voices.   We had so much fun watching the different singers.  Kimmy fixed my zipper in my favorite spring motorcycle jacket.  Thanks so much Kimmy!  The boys ate pizza, and then we watched the K-Love Fan Awards Interviews.  So happy Kimmy found them and knew how to put them on my tv.  So nice to watch.
When Vikki got out of work, she came here.  Kimmy, Vikki and I went to Frankenmuth to meet Matthew for lunch.  We stopped at the Chamber of Commerce and picked up a $5 off coupon for lunch.  We went to Pablonos, and it was delicious. I'm glad the girl told me to order the 1/4 size Nacho.  It was huge and I couldn't even eat it all.  We had such a nice time together with Matthew.  What a wonderful nephew he is.  He has had a lot of obstacles in his life, but had gotten his Master's degree and is such a nice guy with a kind heart.  We picked Evan and Jack up on the way home.  Kimmy is having them spend the night at her house and then tomorrow they will come home with me.  They were pretty excited.  We went in and talked with Melissa for a while and then left for my house.  Kimmy and the kids left right away and so did Vikki.  I pulled weeds out around the house.
Our garden is so wet, it looks like we might not be able to put one in.  Kimmy brought me some corn, just in case it dries up and we can at least plant that.Bill and I watched a movie.

6/10/10...Went to Melissa's in the morning to pick up Evan and Jack, Fun time with them, Went through stack of junk mail that came while we were camping.

I went to Melissa's and picked Jack and Evan up at 8:30.  They spent the morning with me and were lots of fun and were so good.  They played air hockey in the basement for a while and then wanted to play the wii.  After that they got the legos out and build some pretty cool things. Jack wanted to save his in a baggie.  We put it in a drawer in the basement.  So funny because there are quite a few lego things in there some other grandsons have made and probably forgot they were saving them.
It was rainy out, so we stayed inside.  Melissa and Bruce picked them up at around noon.  I sure do love those boys!  In the afternoon, the rain stopped, so I put the clean sheets back on our bed in the camper and put the other laundry for out there away.

6/9/19...Went to church, went to Bavarian Parade and to Debbie's, watched K Love Fan Awards

My Peonies are beautiful and smell so good

They are just starting to open

Bill in his cheese shirt by his brick.  I took a picture of a pair of cheese shorts and this same shirt.  I was going to tell the girls they should get him one for Father's Day (just joking of course).  Then we went by the Cheesehaus and Bill saw the shirt in the window like the one I took a picture of and he bought it himself.  So funny! Say Cheese Bill!  Maybe he will start to like cheese now.

We went to church.  Worship was amazing! Dan Dickerson was preaching today and did a great job.  Bill and I left a few minutes early so we could get to Frankenmuth for the parade.  We walked through town first.  Saw Ben Cable (he went to school with the girls and was one of my favorite kids).  I got a hug from him and we talked for a few minutes.  Went through a few stores.  I tried some cheese samples in the Cheesehaus.  We went through a meat store and we both tried samples there.  Bill bought his bright yellow cheese shirt.  We went back and everyone was here.  Took a picture of the grandkids and Bill.  Watched the parade.  Debbie and Tom were in it.  They saved the row where we put our chairs to watch the parade.  Matthew came and sat with us.  We had fun watching the parade and the little kids got lots of candy.  My favorite float again was the Christian Bible Church.  They sing amazing worship songs.  Hailey and I want to visit there.  We went to Debbie's.  It started sprinkling, but the kids wanted to swim, so Kimmy and Vikki rolled up the solar very carefully.  Vikki knew just how Uncle Tom wanted it.  When he got home, he said he was worried about the cover being rolled up wrong and was happy Vikki and Kimmy did it right.

We were talking and Vikki said she and Matthew wanted to visit The Bible Church too.  We all ate and the food was yummy.  The kids swam for a long time.  The girls, Debbie, Matthew and I sat outside at the table under the umbrella.  The others were in the house.  It started raining harder and I got a little wet.  Another fun Bavarian Festival Celebration Day.  It's been a tradition since Bill and I started dating.  The kids have been going since they were babies and the grandkids too.  I think we have only missed one ever! Loved the K'Love Fan Awards (except one part where Matthew West made up a song).  The rest was amazing and brought Glory to the Lord and touched my heart.

Bill loaded everything in the car (banner, table, canopy, chairs, brochures, Bibles, etc)  I drove the car and drove the motorcycle to Hopevale for the Car/Bike show.  It was beautiful out and a great day for it.  We had fun and Bill won 2nd place with our motorcycle.  He also won in the veteran's drawing and got $50.  What a great group of people to hang out with.  We came home and I made potato salad for dinner at Debbie's tomorrow for the Bavarian Parade and fun at her house afterward.  In the evening we went to The Double Tree Hotel in Bay City for the Marine Corp. League State Convention Dinner.  We sat with the State Chaplain and his wife and other marines that Bill knew.  Doug Szcpanski was there with the guest speaker.  We want him to be the speaker some day and Bill is trying to set it up.  He has an amazing testimony of being a gunner and being hit by a suicide bomber.  He is a miracle and has started a ministry called Miracle Soldier.  We are honored to know this Veteran and man of God!

Fri.,6/7/19...Took Melissa to her blood test, Bill and I went with Rich and Pat to the VA hospital for Rich to have and MRI. Bill tilled the garden

Bill, me, Pat and Rich at Olive Garden

Bill got the garden tilled for the second time.  It has been to wet to do until today.
Got up and took my shower.  Melissa called me when I was just going to dry my hair to ask me if I was still going to take her to have her blood test.  I had put it on my phone calendar, but didn't get the reminder.  It was 8 and Bill and I had to be to Rich and Pat's at 10 to leave for Ann Arbor.  I prayed and asked God to help me get back home on time.  I hurried and got ready, left and got Melissa, and headed to the lab.  I am used to going to Quest by the Mall because that's where I go.  I drove there and almost was there when Melissa reminded me she has to go to the lab across from the hospital.  We got on the expressway and went to the hospital.  There were a few people sitting in the waiting area, but only one ahead on the list.  They called Melissa back right away.  A few other people came in after that and got in right away.  I was getting a little nervous as I watched the clock.  I saw her come out and they sent her in the bathroom for a urine specimen.  Her labs have never taken that long.  All the people who went in after her were done and out the door.  Melissa's doctor had ordered lots of tests.  Finally she was done and he left.  I had 15 minutes to get her home and then get back to my house.  I sure was praying.  I made all the lights which was wonderful.  I called Bill to see if he just wanted to me me somewhere, but he wanted me to come home so we could ride together.  I dropped Melissa off at her house and left right away.  Got home at 20 to 10.  We left right away and made it on time.  I sure did thank Jesus!  I sure messed things up by not remembering, but He turned it in to good for me.  We stopped at Tim Horton's and I got a muffin (since I didn't have time to eat in the morning) and Cappuccino.  We had a nice visit on the way.

Rich's MRI took 1 and 1/2 hours total time.  We went to the hospital store and then walked to the cafeteria and got ice tea. When Rich was done, we left and stopped at an Olive Garden on the way home. We all got the buy one/take one home for 12.99.  Got home and did some weeding while Bill tilled the garden.  Watched the Finale of When Call the Heart I had taped.  It was so good.

Hailey when I took Jack home.  Her last day of school was today!

Abby and Hailey.  Hailey gave her some pink hair today.
We got up at 7:30, ate breakfast and then packed up the camper and got it ready to go.  Walked over to the store and filled our coffee mugs for the trip home.  It was a beautiful sunny morning.  Nice drive home.  I got home before Bill and got my birds fed.  I went out and helped direct him when I saw he was home.  We both unpacked our stuff right away.  I took a shower and got ready and then left to pick up Jack from school  We went to Vikki’s and picked her and the twins up.  We went to Bay City and stopped at Outdoor Adventures Office.  Said I don’t need a new card, just my license and number to get in.  I haven’ been able to find my membership card, but am still praying.  We parked in front of the theater we were going to for the concert.  Outdoor Adventures was across the road and down a block.  Then we walked to G’s.  It was right on the road in back of the theater.  We sat down and ordered.  We were teasing about Carman coming there to eat.  Four guys came in and sat at the table next to us.  When they passed our table they told us if the kids acted up we could send them to their table.  We laughed and told the kids they better behave.  I heard them talking about their Jesus and their pastor.  We got to the concert and waited outside for an hour.  It went by quickly and we talked to some nice people in line.  We got really good seats.  While we were waiting for the concert to start, we ate popcorn.  Vikki brought drinks for us.  Carman’s manager got up to say a few words, and then introduced the pastor whose church had brought Carman to Bay City.  They were the guys in the restaurant at the table next to us.  The concert was amazing.  Carman has such a heart for the Lord and also has an amazing testimony.  He was diagnosed with incurable cancer in 2013 and went through 9 months of chemo and is cancer free.  All glory to Jesus!  The kids all loved the concert and so did Vikki and I.  Visited a little with Melissa, Hailey and Jack when I dropped Jack off.  Hailey made symphonic band and golden voice for next year and was pretty excited. Way to go Hailey!
