Sat.,7/13/19..Stacie and DJ had our family over to swim, eat, ride 4 wheelers and have lots of fun. Kimmy and Jared couldn't make it.

Another beautiful day.  I made cheesy potatoes for at Stacie's.  I also made some plain potatoes for Bill, Melissa and Stacie.  We got to Stacie's at 2.  Shortly after we were there, three ladies came to pick up Stacie's rescue dog.  It needed a home with a retired person with no kids.  This lady, her granddaughter and cousin loved Foxy.  It was so nice to see she was going to a good home with the grandma.  After they left, we visited for a while, went out to watch the kids fish, looked at Stacie's Van camper project and then went swimming to cool off.  We had fun in the pool and it felt so good after being so hot.  It sprinkled for a couple minutes then quit.  We ate after that.  Had burgers, hotdogs, and brats that DJ grilled.  Also had cheesy potatoes, pasta salad, and macaroni salad.
The kids rode the 4 wheelers after that.  Boy were their moms nervous and so was I.  Papa got nervous too.  This was their first time driving them.  They survived and they loved it.  Some of the kids went back swimming after that.  We left around 7:30.  We sure had a wonderful time there.

Picked Melissa up and took her to therapy.  Brought Evan and Jack to my house and hung out.  Papa took Evan for a ride with him on the lawn tractor and even let him steer it a little.  Jack didn't want to.  It was a cooler morning, so we didn't swim.  The boys really liked playing with my legos and playing wi sports.  I made homemade pizza for our lunch.  We went to Sam's Club and then picked Melissa up from therapy.  Melissa told me her feet did get sunburned yesterday and she should have listened to me to be careful.  Guess mommy knew best.  Bill washed our motorcycle.  We went for a swim after that.  I worked on catching up on my blog.  We watched a movie.

I went to Jack's to pick up round steak to cook in the crockpot.  Came home and got it going and then went to Salvation Army to drop some things off.  Picked up Melissa and the boys after that.  The boys went swimming and loved jumping in off the deck.  We ate our lunch and then Melissa and I had our adult swim.  Melissa is doing so good.  She went right down the ladder and got in the pool without any help. I sure thank God for how she is improving.  I thought she would need lots of help.  Lots of improvement since I have been gone camping.  We got lots of exercise in the pool and then sat in the sun for a while, then moved to the shade.  Bruce came and picked them up on his way home from work.  I dropped Round Steak and gravy, mashed potatoes, string beans and cupcakes off to Bev and Dave Wightman.  She is 90 and just had gall bladder surgery.  I visited for a little while, then came home to ride on the motorcycle to our chapter meeting. I watered my plants when I got home. It was sure a fun day.

Kimmy and the boys came over in the morning. We uncovered the pool and skimmed it with a skimmer Kimmy brought for us.  It was sparkling clean after that.  The boys got in right away.  They had fun jumping in.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came shortly after and they got in the pool and had fun jumping too.  After they got out, we ate lunch.  Then we had an adult swim for a while, until Adam and Eli got back in.  We played 3-13 after that and I was the winner today.  Bill had to leave early to go to the picnic, so asked me to pick up James.  The kids got back in the pool and we sat under the shade tree.  I had to leave after a few minutes to pick up James and go to the Marine Corp. Picnic.  Thanks Kimmy, Vikki and kids for picking up everything, covering the pool, and leaving everything so nice for me. The picnic was lots of fun, and the food was delicious.  Bill cooked the hot dogs and burgers.  I bought 14 tickets for a total of $14 and won three big plants.  I won a fourth one, but gave it to the lady next to me.  The plants are from Boehler’s and are beautiful.  I had been planning on buying another hibiscus from there, but don’t have to now.  We came home, and Bill met Vikki to help her and Rody pick up a fire pit for their house.  I swam, and when he came home, we both swam and cooled off.  

Tues., 7/9/19, Went to breakfast, then went to Omer to pick up our camper...dropped it off at Dolneys

We went to our breakfast at 8.  After breakfast, we went up to Omer and picked up our 5th wheel and took it to Dolney’s for them to work on some things they fixed last year that aren’t done right.  We stopped at Mussel Beach on our way home and got ice cream.  Yum!  We also stopped at Beatty Pools and looked around.  Came home and Bill worked on hooking up the filter.  Bruce stopped in to get Hailey’s shorts she left in our camper.  I sent some candy sticks home for the kids (and Melissa) and also some caramel apple suckers for Hailey to have on her trip with her youth group to Chicago, Mall of America, and to a National Youth Group Rally in Minnesota where they Toby Mac will be doing a concert.  Marie and Roy surprised us and stopped in.  We were so happy to see them.  She had a dr. appt., but was 15 min. late, so had to reschedule.  She was upset, but we prayed with her and she felt better. Jared is in Texas.  I talked to Kimmy for a while. Bill got the filter working great, so I went looking for a hand skimmer.  Didn’t want to pay the big price Beatty wanted, so went to Walmart and Meijer.  They were both out.  Now I will look on line.    I did get some chemicals we needed for the pool.    I stopped at Melissa’s to see Hailey before she left.  Went to Jack’s to get lunchmeat and cheese.  Came home and put stuff in the pool and then Bill and I put the cover on.  Watered all my flowers.
