Got up early and got ready and packed stuff for Rock the Island  Woke Hailey up at 7:00.  We took Abby to Melissa's house and let her spend the day there where she is happier.  Hailey spotted M & M's on the table right away and called her dad to see if she could have some.  I spotted pizza in the refrigerator I had picked up the day before and there were two pieces no one ate.  I ate a piece of pizza and some M & M's for breakfast, because I didn't have time at home.  We got to Rock the Island at 9 to help set up the Clam and booth.  Hailey was a great help.  We walked around after that. It was super hot and muggy, in the 90's, but at least there were lots of clouds most of the day.  Our booth was by a big shade tree which was nice.  Elaine, Don, Vicki and Kevin, Mark and Marti, Cheryl, Luis, Bill, James, Vikki, Rody, Peyton, Isaac, Rebecca and her boyfriend, and were all there, besides me and Hailey.  The first bands were too loud and we couldn't make out any words.  Hailey and I ate sack taco's for lunch.  We loved Blanca, Britt Nicole, and We are Messengers.  After We are Messengers played about four songs, it started looking very dark out and Bill said there were severe storm warnings.  We had already packed up, but Vikki and I went looking for Hailey and Mia.  They were worshipping up by the band.  Didn't find her at first, but Ginny showed me where she was.
Vikki headed back to Rody and the kids, and Hailey and I ran and got in my car which I had parked real close.  We got in right as it started pouring.  There were lots of branches that came down.  It took a while to get out of there because so many people were leaving.  After we got home, Vikki called to say she was heading back to see if Kari Jobe was still going to sing.  Hailey and I were just about ready to head back there when Vikki called to let us know she was cancelled because of the bad weather.  Bummer!  Picked Hailey up something to eat at McDonald's and both of us got Frappe's.
We had fun going through old pictures of BayShore Family Camp through the years.  She has gone since she was a baby 7 mos. old. Lots of great memories to look back at.

Vacuum worked great
It was in the 80's when we got up.  I took Melissa to therapy and brought Jack and Evan back to my house.  We swam, they played with legos, and played games in the basement.  We picked up a Hot and Ready pizza and went to Melissa's house to share it with Max and Hailey.  Picked Melissa up and then I brought Hailey home with me.  We went for a swim and sat outside.  It was 96 degrees out today and a feel like 105 temperature. Hailey told me about her youth group trip.  I am so glad she went and had such a great time.  She helped me take lots of cans and bottles to the bottle return at Meijer, Aldi and Sam's Club.  We met Papa at Coco Loco's after that.  It was delicious.  After we got home, Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came for a swim.  Hailey didn't want to swim, but the rest of us sure enjoyed the cool down.  Today when Bill was working on the deck, he jumped in to cool down.  I learned how to vacuum the pool today.  So happy it is so easy and does a great job. Packed some of the things we are taking to Rock the Island!

Went to Vikki's before my hair appt. to drop off Isaac's glasses he forgot in my car last night.  Stayed and visited for a few minutes and then headed to Catherine's for my haircut.  I went to Jacks afterwards, and Vikki and the kids were there.  We were excited to see each other, even though we just did.  Came home and Bill was working outside in the horrible heat getting everything ready for Gene to run and electrical line out to the pool deck.  I jumped in the pool to cool down and tried to talk him into it too.  He had to go to Home Depot for something he needed.  When he got home he hooked up the skimmer for the pool.  I did some weeding around my plants.  Elaine came over and picked up some stuff for Rock the Island she is taking there for us.  She gave us 2 free tickets and a free parking ticket for Rock the Island.  Bill and I went to Vikki and Rody's for meatloaf, sliced and baked potatoes, green beans and pasta salad.  Everything was super delicious.  Thank you Vikki!
We stopped at Home Depot on our way home and then TJ Max.  Got a pouch with a elastic belt to wear when I walk at SportsZone and at Ojibway.  It's big enough to hold my phone, my keys and a few other things.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came over for an evening swim.  It was still 85 out so it sure felt good to get cooled down.

Wed., 7/17/19...Went to Kimmy's, Vikki, Peyton and Issac came over, Went shopping with Vikki and kids, Went to eat with Vikki and family, Took neighbor to VA hospital, Visited Jeff

Went to Kimmy's in the morning.  After I got there, we walked around and looked at all of her beautiful flowers and plants.  Looked at Kimmy's new collapsible crates and how nice they had packed their trailer, and then we looked at the boys turkeys.  I couldn't
believe how big they were.  They were just babies when I saw them last.  Looked at the sheep and then went back in the house.  It felt great in the house as it was very hot and humid outside.  We ate a great lunch and then played 3-13.  Kimmy was the big winner.  We went swimming after that.  The water felt cold at first, but didn't take long and it felt nice and warm.  We had fun swimming around and floating in the current the boys made for us.  So much fun and I loved seeing the boys have so much fun together.  I left shortly after that and came home to find that the asphalt behind our shed had been resurfaced.  It looked so nice. Vikki and the kids came we went swimming and had lots of fun.  We enjoyed hearing Peyton and Isaac swim and have fun together too.  Vikki and I had a swim too, while the kids climbed the big maple tree.   I saw the neighbor girl out by the road going to her car and stopped to talk to her.  I said they had made a mistake and told her about ours being done, and she said her hubby should have called us ahead of time to let us know.  Then she asked me if it looked good.  I told her YES!  I also told her we would pay for it, but she insisted they wanted to do it for us.  She is always so sweet and kind.  I told her to have Chase call Bill about it. He went to his Saginaw Marine Corp meeting. I went with Vikki and the kids to Target.  Peyton and Isaac rode with me and we followed Vikki.  We walked all through the store.  We found some foam lounger seats for the pool and a sign that said clearance 7.99  We sure were happy and each grabbed one to get.  When I checked out at the self check out, it rang up 39.99.  We ran back to check the sign, and it was for something that was gone already.  The lounger seats were just sitting above the wrong sign.  We didn't get them at that price of course.  We met Rody at Qdoba's afterward.  We all at a delicious meal.  Mine was only $6.99 with a drink included.  I have enough left for 2 more meals. I got home and my neighbor came over and needed me to take her to the VA hospital to pick up her husbands Jeep.  He was admitted to the hospital, and she was pretty shook and didn't know what she was going to do.  I was happy to take her and got to pray with her on the way.  Stopped at Vikki's, and asked her and Isaac to go with me back to the VA to visit Jeff Eagle.  It was his birthday today, so we picked up a card and a balloon and gave him a visit.  He was so happy.

Monday, 7/15/19...HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY TO JACK!

Happy 11th Birthday Jack!  I love you so much!

Got deck ready for Gene to run electricity and put plug by the deck

Bill put hooks for our towels on the posts

Put hooks on the side to hand skimmer and vacuum

Mall of America...roller coaster in the back

I cleaned four rooms in the house today.  Haven't cleaned in a month, so it sure is nice to have done.

I turned the pool filter on today.  A while later I looked out and the pool was a third empty.  I called Bill outside to help see where it was leaking.  The plugs were in still so it wasn't the pool.  Bill saw that the hose came off the filter and the water was leaking out the hose.  He fixed the hose and I put the hose in the water to fill the pool.  Bill added the other hose, so it filled quickly.  We went to get some live traps for raccoons and chipmunks at TSC.  Stopped at Culver's for burgers, fries and a Concrete Mixer.  Came home and raked up long grass and weeds by the ditch out front that Bill had

cut.  Went for a swim.  The water was a little cooler, but still nice.  Came in and watched Mary Poppins. Melissa said Hailey texted and called her.  There was a tornado warning, so they had to stay at the Mall of America.  She sent a picture of a roller coaster there.  There was a tornado, but they were ok where they were.  There was another storm coming so they waited where they were, so will be late getting to their next destination.  Sure am praying for my girl and those with her and everyone else there.
