Made bacon, eggs, ham and hash browns for breakfast.  We went for a walk, went to the beach and sat on our own chairs while the kids swam and played in the sand.  Not a whole lot of people there. The pool opened but it was packed.  We are avoiding areas with lots of people.  Bruce and Max helped Bill with the deck.   Vikki and I made chicken hobo dinners.  Peyton saw her friend Kallie and they were so happy to see each other.  They were besties last year.  She’s leaving tomorrow so it’s good they got to see each other for a while.  Bill made it up for the fireworks which made us very happy.  He was very happy that we had a hobo dinner already made for him.  We watched the golf cart Fourth of July parade in the campground and then got ready to watch the fireworks from our campsite.  So weird not to have our whole family here, but we just found out this morning the fireworks were tonight.  Kimmy, Jared and the boys are in Indiana visiting Jared’s parents.  They aren’t giving out any day passes, but they gave Kimmy one for the whole time so she could come for them if she wanted to.  Our camping neighbors, Gayle and Tim Jones came over and sat outside at our campsite with us.  We shared testimonies of the great things God has done in our life and then watched the wonderful fireworks.  Such a fun night. I love it when God brings us together with people who instantly become family because God is our Father!  Amazing night!

Beautiful fireworks we could watch right from our campsite

Jacob and Adam worked on pool deck with Papa.  At around noon Kimmy, Jared and Eli picked Adam and Jacob up and headed to Indiana to visit Jared’s parents.   I ate oatmeal and then went outside the camper and read my Bible.  Isaac got up right after I did.  I went for a walk and then Vikki and Peyton were up when I got back.  We all went for a walk around the loop. It was a beautifully sunny day.  We ate our lunch, talked to Kimmy  while we packed to go to Marie and Roy’s.  We spread mulch down . Roy helped shovel it off the truck and dump the wheelbarrow.  Marie helped spread it around and supervised. She gave Vikki a couple of nice rose plants and blumeria plants.  We went and helped Bill with the deck afterwards.  It is looking beautiful.  Peyton and Isaac went for their first swim in our pool.  I went for my first swim too.  I was hot and it felt so good.  Rody came to see the kids.  Isaac made Raman noodles all by himself at our house.  Peyton and Papa ate noodle soup.  It looked like a bad storm coming.  Vikki and the kids and I headed back up north.  We stopped at Cracker Barrell for a to go order.  They were super safe there and really doing good to keep people safe.  Vikki and I ate our yummy dinner when we got to the camper, after heating it up.  We missed the storm that was supposed to come. It sprinkled a little, then we went for another walk.  I talked to Melissa a couple of times.  We played dice with the kids before bed. Another great day!

I got up at 7.  Isaac got up shortly after and he warmed up by the fireplace, then we ate breakfast.  Vikki and Peyton got up a half hour later.  I read my Bible and then we went for a bike ride around the campground.  Vikki had low air in her tires, so we didn’t go far.  Isaac and Peyton went fishing and caught some fish.  Isaac caught 14 fish including a big bass. He loves fishing.  Vikki got air put in her tires.  Kimmy and the boys came to visit.  We visited  while, Eli, Peyton and Isaac went for a bike ride.  Kimmy fixed the nose piece to my glasses for me.  Great job Kimmy!  Thank you!  We went for a walk, played 3-13 (Vikki won), and the younger three kids went swimming in pond.  What a fun day with family I love!  Bill was working on the deck by himself, even though Kimmy and Jacob had told him to call and the boys would help.  Kimmy took the boys there after she left the campground to help him. She said he looked whipped out  and said he couldn’t lift another board.  Good thing the boys were there to help him. He told me on the phone they did an amazing job and did so much work, it would have taken him two more days to do.  He sure appreciated it.  Me too!  They went to get ice cream, but everything was closed.  They went to pick up contact solution from Rody’s porch for Jacob, as the boys were spending the night to help in the morning!  I am so thankful for them wanting to help their Papa.  Vikki and I went for another walk.  Isaac and Peyton went on their bikes!  Isaac made a great campfire and we had s’mores.  Vikki and I played 3-13. I won.  I got 11,000 steps.  We played dice after that and she won.  Fun day!

Watched Pastor’s online devotion.  This is the last one because church has started up again.  I sure have loved them.  Packed the last minute things in camper, and Bill put some wood in his truck.  We were supposed to leave at 11 but weren’t ready til 20 after.  We had prayed for a spot with full hookup because of the COVID thing. I also prayed for God’s timing to leave so we’d get there when there was the right spot for us.  When we drove in all the spots were full. We didn’t check the back ones because they flood bad. We drove through some by where you go down to the pavilion, but they all had campers in them.  I got to where a camper was either coming or leaving, and I asked the guy if he was coming or going and he said going.  I told him I was going to pull in when he left, and called Bill in the camper to let him know.  A lady across from the guy asked if he was leaving, but he told her I already had the spot spoken for.  Full hookup and a great spot.  Bill, Vikki and the kids set the outside up while I did the inside.  Bill left in the evening because he wanted to work on the deck at home and he has an appointment in the morning.  He forgot his phone. Thought we couldn’t call him because we had his phone.  Vikki went on her bike to try to catch him but couldn’t .  We were both praying he would realize he didn’t have it before he got too far.  I thought of his watch and try to call and see if he’d answer it.  Finally tried texting a message.  He got it and cane back for his phone! Thanked the Lord!  To top the day off, when we got back from our walk, we heard beautiful worship next door. Vikki and I each took a turn walking by the camper next to us, and the lady was the one singing for a podcast for chasing the joneses.  They we’re going for a walk by and Vikki told her how much she loved her singing.  They said they were traveling missionaries and he’s a pastor.  God sure blessed us.  They were going to park in another spot and their camper started sinking a little in some sand.  Someone going by asked them if they wanted full hook up and said they were leaving, so that’s why they were parked there. We had Fergie’s pizza and breadsticks for dinner.  Isaac worked hard trying to get the fire going, but the wood wasn’t very good.  He didn’t give up and had it going for a bit at least.  The kiddos are being so good and so polite! Talked to Melissa, Kimmy and texted with Adam.  Great day and great family!  Bill sent deck pictures and he’s doing a great job!

Day 99, 6/23/2020, They hooked up the pool filter, Cold windy day

Our garden is looking good

Filter is hooked up and running Yay!
Pool is full and ready to swim in when warm.  Also need a deck to it and steps to get into the pool

Listened to Pastor's Devotion.  Read my Bible and headed to the Toyota dealer to get an oil change.  One car ahead of me getting worked on and one more behind it.  Didn't take long.  All set for 10,000 more miles.  I packed the camper.  Around 2, the people came to hook the filter to our pool up.  We found out we had a new box of parts that go to a different filter.  The people left and we let the pool fill up to where they said.  Went to turn the filter on and decided we should put a chlorine cartridge in first.  We looked and didn't see a place for it to go.  I had remembered being able to see it on the filter at the store we got it at.  We went there and returned the extra box of stuff and picked up the part we needed.  Bill hooked it up to the filter with my assistance, and we got it started.  It sure works great.  I had to dump one bottle of stuff in and then will put a capful of the other stuff in each week.  Bill got the stairs for the pool assembled too. I made sirloin steak on the grill and also potatoes, onions with butter. Yum.  Talked to Melissa a couple of times and Vikki a couple of times.    Praying for Abby as something in her mouth is hurting again.  Texted with Adam and Hailey. Packed more stuff to put in the camper.
