Went to the church service in the morning.  After the service, Faith Riders went on a ride to do the scavenger hunt.  Bill and I decided to stay and to the bike games, plus we had bug stickers and had to take our bike to be judged along with all the others.  We got first place for the roadkill game.  I had to scoop up stuffed animals in a net while he drove the trike.  They told us there were 5 bonus points if we scooped up the penguin.  There were so many animas in the field, we knew we couldn't waste time trying to find that.  We scooped up 6 animals and to our surprise, they told us one was the penguin.  With the extra points, we won.  So much fun.  We also did the one where the driver is blind folded and the passenger tells him when and where to turn to miss the cones he had to weave in and out of.  Bill turned right when I would say left....We didn't do too well in that.  We knocked 2 cones over.
The drummer of Kleen Slate was getting coffee when I went in to get some.  I told him how much I loved his playing and singing, and told him about Isaac.  He told me to tell him to keep practicing, because that is what he did.  He sure reminds me of Isaac in his looks and actions.

Devon and Sam got baptized at 4.  The director of the camp brought water from the Jordan back from his last trip to Israel, so he let Mel dump a bottle in the pool.  So cool! The baptisms were very touching.  They prayed over them afterwards.

In the evening the kids did their songs with motions and Kleen Slate put on their concert.  It was so good.  BayShore liked them so well, they want to have them come back.

Sat., 9/3/22, CMA State Rally and 2nd Annual Block party..Everything went great!

It was a beautiful day, but very hot and humid.  God took the rain out of the forecast for when the Street Party was going on.  So thankful.  Bill has done an amazing job setting everything up and organizing the Street Party and State Rally.  He has worked so hard and asked God to help him do this.  It turned out so good today.  I am so thankful for him and proud of him.

We went out at 830 and started setting things up.   Bill drove the golf cart and helped everyone find their spot and get what the needed.  I helped set up for our Bake Sale for Run for the Son and set up the face printing table for Nancy, who volunteered to do it for us last night after prayer.  We were so thankful to get someone as the kids really love having their face painted. I set a chair up at Kimmy and Jared's spot to save it for them.  Bill ended up moving them down a couple of spots though.  They set up the popcorn and snow cone machine next to them and did that for us too.  They were all amazing, because they had to take care of their own pottery table too.  Vikki picked up all the faceprinting stuff and brought it to me.  She was an amazing blessing too and so was everyone else...the kids all helped, and Rody took pictures.  We did really good at the bake sale.  Peyton came down and talked to me lots and she helped me make a sign for the snow cone and popcorn machine. We had a chance to pray for healing for people who were coming to the bake sale too.  Our CMA people had a motorcycle parade at 3.  It was hot out, but it felt cool riding.  We really only had one stop because the Police blocked busy intersections for us.  We saw Bubba and Debbie at their booth at Akron.  She had cancer really bad, but sure looked amazing now.  I told her I had been praying for her lots and she said that is why she got well.  It's because of all the prayer.   We had a chance to pray for Paul who was having hip pain.  When we came back, it was looking like rain.  It said it was supposed to start at 6.  We all hurried and we tried to help Kimmy and Jared get packed up.  They are pretty fast packers with those boys helping too.  Melissa, Hailey, Jack and Evan had got there while we were on the ride.  They shad left, but when they saw us go by, they turned around to come give us a hug and say hi.  That sure made me happy and made my day.  They had to leave right away.  I wanted them to get home before it started raining hard because Hailey was driving.  The kids all were happy to see Hailey and all of us adults were too.  I got extra hugs from her to last me.  Jacob, Bill, Vikki, Adam, Peyton and I had chili.  The rest were still full.  We hung out in the camper for a while while Kimmy and Vikki and some of the kids rode the golf cart around.  I'm glad everyone enjoyed the day even though it was hot and sunny and very humid.  It was very busy, but so much fun too. We went to the church service at 6:45.  Kleen Slate was doing the worship and it was amazing.  They are doing a free youth concert tomorrow night.  I can't wait to hear them.  It was raining when we came out, so we came back to the camper and I got a towel and went back and dried the golf cart off and brought it back.  Bill was super tired after the busy day he had helping everyone.  We will sleep good tonight.

Fri, 9/2/22, Barb, Cheryl, Arnie, Don and Lew got here, Wes, Gayla, Elaine, Bill and I went for preride, good service this evening

Cinnamon Rolls we got
My half eaten Cinnamon roll
On our pre ride. Bill and I were leading and that’s Wes and Gayla, then Elaine behind us.  It was a great ride!

Did our morning Bible reading and prayer.  Bill helped people get parked, then he turned it over to Don and Jerry so we could go on a pre ride for the motorcycle parade we are having tomorrow in the country and  through 4 towns. Wes, Gayla and  Elaine went with us.  Visited with friends outside around the campground.  Barb got here a little before 2.  I was going to help her set up her TP tent again this year, but Bill and I had a leadership meeting at 2 we had to be at, so Elaine, Ron and Gayla helped her.  We stopped in Unionville and went to the Farmer’s Market.  They had delicious cinnamon rolls for sale, a 4 pack for $5.  They were big and were so delicious….as good as the Hilltop, but not quite as big.  I had a BLT and a cinnamon roll for lunch.  YUM!

Barb came and visited for a while after her tent was all set up and she set up her things.  I talked to Kimmy and heard about Jared’s adventures with his new tractor, and the parts they needed to order because of some little mishaps.  Not the tractors fault though.  It’s still an amazing  tractor.  I talked to Vikki and texted with Adam.

Melissa and missed each others calls.  Bill and I ate at the dining hall.  They had delicious barbecue and plain chicken, potatoes, stuffing and a yummy salad.  We had a good worship service and message tonight.  Nice to hear all about what Run for the Son is doing to share the Gospel.  AMAZING!  Afterwards, we talked to some CMA friends who are moving to Bridgeport and want to join Faith Riders.  They are a young couple with a new baby.  Really sweet people, and their baby is so cute.  Already knows how to high five and she loved it.  She’s only about 5 months old.    We went to the campfire and sang songs led by Ziggy.  He always picks great Christian songs.  Some had s’mores, but we were too full.  Fun time around the campfire though and no bugs. Tiny came to visit us after we were done at the campfire.

9/1/22, Lots of friends arrived at BayShore. Rode on the golf cart with Bill to see them, went on a date to get ice cream after our busy day

Jared on his new tractor....I am soooo happy for him!
Me and Wes by the sign.  Wes and Gayla helped me hang the sign at the corner.
Me by our Street Party sign!
Me enjoying a beautiful morning outside at BayShore

Ate breakfast, I had coffee and Bill had tea, read our Bibles outside and put good Worship on when I went inside.  We went for a ride on the golf cart looking for a permanent marker Bill lost.  We didn't find it. We went to the office and got a new marker from Liz.  Stopped and saw Jerry, Judy, and Don.  Bill said they weren't going to have a sign at the corner, so I went to the Dollar Store and picked up stuff to make a sign.  I didn't have much time to make it, but at least people will know there is a Street Party on Saturday.

I got back and Jim Johnroe and his son in law were parking their RV next to us. Yay, they are great neighbors to have.  Jeanette Sheler was walking towards our camper, so I went outside to talk to her.  It was nice catching up with her.  We prayed together before she left.  She came in and looked at our camper.  I got the sign almost made, when Elaine came, Barb and Ron came and Wes and Gayla came.  I took Elaine an ice cold water because I could see the was really hot while setting up her motorcycle camper.  She can't stand the heat.  I offered to do whatever she needed me to do, but she just wanted to cool down for a while.  I came in and finished the sign.  Wes and Gayla took me down to the corner and the three of put up the sign and secured good.  Bill used the golf card shuttle and took a family who is in the group Kleen Slate around the campground and showed them where everything is.  They are doing worship Sunday Morning and putting on a concert for the youth Sunday night.Bill and I ate chili for dinner, then drove around in the golf cart.  We stopped and visited everyone we knew outside their camper.  He also took me over to meet the family he drove around the campground.  What a nice family.  Their love for Jesus just shone through brightly.  I talked to the wife and it felt like I had always known her.  She was so sweet.  I can wait til they do worship and can't wait for their concert now.
Bill and I went on a date to get ice cream at the Red Barn.  I had a single and he had a hot fudge sundae, and gave me the cherry.  It was pretty buggy out so we ate in the truck with the air on.  I've never seen the bugs so bad here.  They don't bite, but are sure annoying.  We have to get up very early, so didn't play any games tonight.  Texted with Adam today, talked with Kimmy, Vikki and Melissa.

Wed, 8/31/22, Left for BayShore at 10:30, Enjoyed a peaceful and beautiful day there

All set up at BayShore for our CMA State Rally!  Bill has worked hard planning it and the Street Party. God has led and blessed him the whole time!

We went into town to the Cutest Button Boutique because I won a $25 gift card there.  It is such a cute shop with lots of beautiful things.  I bought a few cute things.
Bill relaxing

Billon the golf cart they gave him to use because he helps out so much here.
Bill having a hot fudge sundae and me having my free Micha Frappe at McDonald’s.  The red barn was closed so we couldn’t get our ice cream there.

So nice watching the beautiful sunset with Doug and Sue

Selfie we took with Doug and Sue

Kit Kat caught another vole and put it on the front porch.  Nice to see the pests she’s catching.  I gave her some yummy soft food for being such a good kitty.  Vikki surprised me on her way to Kimmy’s and stopped in to give me a big hug goodbye.  That made my day!  Kimmy called before we left and I got to talk to her for quite a while.  That made me happy.  She told me they sold their tractor! Yay!
We packed the last minute stuff, then left at 9:30.
Bill did great driving the toy hauler.  I love how easy it is to set up inside and out.  We decided we had room for the clan, so we put it up.  We are pretty fast at it now.  We ate sandwiches for lunch, then went to we Aliza in the office. We also saw Hailey’s friend, Dustin.  We went for a walk around the campground and greeted a few friends who came early like us.  We sat outside and relaxed.  Went over to Wes and Gayla’s camper they left here and Bill plugged it in and I went in and turned the refrigerator on for them, so it’s nice and cold when they bring the food for it tomorrow.  Gayla called me to see if I would do that.  We walked around the campground, then picked up the cart Dave brought up for us.  We went for a drive in it and planned out where everything will go for the Street Party.  We ate chili I made yesterday.  We walked out on Roberta’s Walk to watch the sunset with Doug and Sue. It was absolutely beautiful!  We stopped to talk to Carol and Phil by their campfire, then came back to our camper to play 3-13.  Bill won by a few points.  It was a close game the whole time!  I texted Hailey to let her know we are at her favorite place.  She texted back that she wished she was here, and that things are going great at college. I texted Melissa too and all of her boys had a great day at school today. Kimmy said her boys did too, and Vikki said Peyton and Isaac did. It’s going to be a great year for these precious grandkids I’m praying for and love so much!

Tues., 8/30/22, Happy 19th Anniversary Kimmy and Jared, Happy Birthday Angie and Jody, Busy day...I did even take any pictures!

Got up early and worked on putting stuff in the freezer and refrigerator.  Bill took out the garbage and then went for coffee with Charlie.  Bill has been so busy with planning the State Rally, plus mowing the yard and picking the grass up, sharing Jesus with people, washing his motorcycle, printing off lots of stuff for the rally this week, plus so much more.  I don't know how he does it all, plus is so sweet to me.  I played lots of good worship music all day.  I had a super busy day today. I filled the cat food dispenser and gave her fresh water for the week, baked butter horns and chocolate chip cookies for the bake sale for Run for the Son we are doing at the rally, made chili for our camping trip, washed Bills truck window and a really dirty window on the outside of the camper.  I also took Meredith to work, which ended up being a big part of the day since her mom didn't tell me to pick her up from school and didn't let me know what time she got out of school, plus a lot of other missing details.  I finally got her though, and we had a nice visit while driving.  When I got home, I labeled baggies and put goodies in them so they are all packaged up for the sale.   I talked to all of the girls, wished Kimmy and Jared a happy anniversary (after Kimmy mentioned it this morning).  I would have remembered eventually because my sister and Bill's sister both have birthdays on their wedding anniversary.  I was happy to hear from her.  They were driving through Amish country, which is always fun.   Max's day went really great at school.  I am so happy about that.  All the kids at his table like each other he said.  Bill and I emptied the backroom of the camper and rolled the carpet up, then he drove the motorcycle in, and we hooked it down.  Then we put the stuff back in. I went to go in the main door, and it wouldn't open.  This was a bummer because I had locked the sliding glass door.  I prayed right away, because last time that happened, I was with Vikki and the screen door latch dropped down, so the door wouldn't open.  We had the back of the camper open,  so Bill noticed the sliding glass door had a lock on it.  He put his key in, but couldn't get it open.  I tried and pushed the door toward the kitchen and it unlatched.  Were we ever happy.  How wonderful to be able to use a key.  Read my Bible.
