Read on my book Charlie lent me.  Went to the show with Charlie and Sue.  They picked us up.
After we got home, I made mashed potatoes to go with the round steak I had cooking in the slow cooker.  Made corn too.  Yum!  Everything tasted good.  After supper I went to teach my class.
They learned to share and to care about others.  They made lego people and then each pair of kids would line up across from each other.  They could hand it to them the first time and then had to each take a step back and had to toss it to each other.  If it broke, they would have to fix it.  The two that got the farthest away from the center first won.  It was Aleiyah and Morgan.  Their person was so sturdy it only broke once.  They sure had fun doing this.  They learned that sometimes people are hurting and feel broken and we can help to fix them by giving them hugs, giving something to them, just listening, praying for them etc.  We also played a game where they were in pairs and had to blow ping pong boats (balls) across a blue poster board (stormy water).  What ever team blue their ship to the person across from them and the other person blew it back the quickest won.  Peyton and Sienna won two times in a row and they played all the other teams.  They were pretty happy.  We played a game with our memory verse on cups where they had to find the first word and one of the kids had to throw a ping pong ball into the cup.  Once they did, they would go put the cup with the first word in a line across the room. We said that and someone had to figure out what the second word was and put the ball in that cup.  Evan was pretty good at getting the ball in.  They did really good and know the verse pretty well now.  I think all but one could say it when Joan had them go out in the hall.  Pretty proud of those kids.  Evan, Peyton and Isaac sure knew it good. The kids decorated bags to give to someone who they see that needs cheering up or is sick.  They are supposed to put something in it to give.
