Tuesday, 3/25/25, Bill had 8 am dentist appt., went to Aldi, also went shopping for stuff for Hope Totes for Rescue Mission, made chicken noodle casserole, took food to Sue, took food to Roy and visited with him and Marie

Nice outdoor area for patients to go sit in when the weather is nice.  Marie has a nice view of it from her room.  There is another one in the front too.

Bill got up early so he could take the garbage and recycling out to the road.  Then he got ready for his 8 o’clock dentist appointment and headed there.  Just needed a cleaning today.  I got up at 8 and had oatmeal and my coffee.  Started reading my Bible hoping it would warm up some outside before I had to fill all the bird feeders.  Bill came home and started reading his Bible too.  When I was done reading, the temperature had gone up to 36 degrees is all.  It was cloudy out and very windy again.  I filled all the feeders and now will need to pick up more suet, wild bird food, and peanuts tomorrow when I go by Jack’s on my way to Cathy’s.  I put chicken breasts in the crockpot.

Bill and I were going to go to Aldi’s but he decided he needed to work on his notes for our Zoom meeting Thursday night.  I got what was needed at Aldi and then went shopping for things for our Hope Tote bags.  It was fun picking stuff out for people at the Rescue Mission.  When I got home and Bill helped me carry stuff in.  After that it was time to cook the noodles.  Melissa called and asked me to go to Biggby with her and Jack tomorrow.  They are having a special on one of her and Hailey’s favorite coffee ice drinks.  I’m excited to go with them after I’m finished helping Cathy.
I cut up the chicken in the crockpot, and when the noodles were done, I mixed them and cream of chicken soup in and a little milk.  Then I added cooked frozen peas.  Then it was time to pack food up and make deliveries, first to Sue, then to Roy who was visiting Marie at the Rehab.  We all visited for a half hour, then Roy left to go home and eat.  I stayed and visited for another hour.  Marie was able to have her hair washed and someone there put rollers in it for her.  Roy told me on the phone, then again when I got there that Marie’s hair was fixed and had curls and she was able to put lipstick on.  He’s is so cute.  He reminds me so much of my sweet dad.
Sue gave me a sweet birthday card with $20 in it and made sure to designate it was not money to pay for rolls, so I was to keep it.  Kimmy and I had already returned $20 she gave us for rolls.  She’s so cute and funny.

I came home and the kernel burner was out and the house was 63 degrees.  Bill forgot to put pellets in it.  By the time he realized it need them, the fire was out.  I saw a check feed message on it and that means out of pellets.  He didn’t start it up again, so I scraped the burn pot and pushed the ignite selection.  I sure was hoping it would start back up since everything was cool inside it.  I prayed and about 10 minutes later it started up.  Yay!  I was so thankful.

I ate some of the casserole, then drank my coffee and had a brownie.  Relaxed after that and talked to Melissa for a while.  Vikki let me know today that Peyton is feeling better.  Adam texted with me.
