| Maddy and Alec needed to stain the deck on the house they are buying before they would appraise it. They got it done today with the beautiful weather. |
No pictures today, but Vikki took some so I borrowed hers. I got up at 8 and put my drops in. I was going to go back to bed because Bill was still sleeping in, but decided to start laundry instead. After that, I ate breakfast and drank my coffee. Bill got up at around 8:30, so we read our Bibles, and did our prayer books/devotions. I was surprised when I saw the temperature was 67 degrees out. I talked to Diane to find out what time I needed to be to her house in order to get her to her doctor appt. on time. I decided to leave early and pick up my eye drops from Walgreens. I got there and went in and there were only three people ahead of me and the line moved quickly. I got to Diane’s about 10 minutes early. She was taking recycling out and I got out to help her, but she insisted the bag was light and also the box and wouldn’t let me help. She is stubborn, but I guess by doing it herself she’s staying in shape. We got to her doctor’s office at 12:50 and she filled out questions on the iPad. I helped when she needed me. They called her back, and right afterwards, a friend who used to go to our church, came and sat by me. She talked to me practically the whole time Diane was in for her appt. We had a good talk about the Lord and how His Word is so important to know. She shared many healings testimonies about what the Lord has done. Then her daughter came out from her appt. I remembered her daughter so talked with her for a few minutes. They left and I still waited another half hour for Diane to come out. Lots of people who went in after her had already come out. Finally at 2:45 she came out and we left. She wanted to take me out for ice cream, but I told her Bill and I just had big hot fudge banana ice cream desserts last night. I gained 5 lbs. so decided to watch it. I’m not going to be snacking after dinner. It was so beautiful out and 70 degrees. We sure enjoyed being out in it. Bill was outside working when I got home. I had stopped at Krogers to get gift cards which are 4x and also some Easter candy that was on sale and some ice cream and pizzas. I had to put them away right away because of how warm it was outside. After I got things put away, I put the clothes Bill had folded away. Then I made a panini for lunch. Bill came in and I made him a few eggs and 3 pancakes on the griddle. It worked great. After I cleaned up everything, I walked outside. It was so nice out, I decided to move the things I had in the house to the camper. We have a lot of rainy days in the forecast so today was the best in the line up.
I went upstairs and got the Easter totes out of the attic. Got the baskets out and the candy and was ready to start filling them, when Marie called me. We had a nice talk and also a nice time of praying together. I decided to wait until Wednesday to do the Easter Baskets.
I came down and went through the mail, then started working on my blog.
