Thursday, 3/26/26, Went to have eye checked, went to Tim Hortons with Bill, Home for a nap, washed some walls, registers, doors, etc, went to Miles Market with Maddy, went to Chic Fil A, went to Jack's

 

Chandler and Brielle...they sure are getting big. Chandler weighs 8 lbs. now.  They are both so cute.

Got up at 7:15 and got ready. I read my Bible before we left.   I woke Bill up at 8:15 thinking we had to be at my eye doctor appt at 9.  After he was up and in the shower, I remembered it was at 9:30.  He didn’t say anything, just kept getting ready and got a chance to relax before we left.  My appointment was quick.  I got right in, the girl tested my eye, then she took me down the hall to the doctor’s office and he checked my vision in that eye and the pressure.  He said it looked great and by tomorrow I should have 20/20 vision in it.  It was still a little blurry today, but is getting pretty clear now.  Not as fast as the last eye, but they said that happens.   

After we were done, Bill and I went to Tim Horton’s.  He had rollups for a regular coffee, and an iced drink.  I got a French Vanilla Ice Cap.  He told me had good coupons for a breakfast sandwich and donuts also.  I got an English muffin egg, bacon and cheese sandwich and a glazed donut.  I was very full after all that.  

We went home and I took an hour nap.  Bill read his Bible.  I texted with Maddy for a while..  After the baby had his physical therapy, was coming to pick me up so we could go to dinner.  It was about 4 when she came.  We went to Miles Market and shared a meal.  We had the caramelized smash burger, fries and split a cookie.  It was super good.  We visited about 1 1/2 hours and had a fun time.  Baby slept most of the time, but I did get to hold him for a while.  Then Maddy fed him.  He only ate a little.  We left to come to my house, so she could finish feeding him and then change his diaper.  He sure is a good baby.  He didn’t cry once.  They left and headed home.

I started washing doors and scrubbed the kitchen counter tops really good.  Washed down a few more cupboards and some cabinets too.  I love having good eyes to see.

Bill was hungry, so we went to Chic fil A and he had a chicken wrap sandwich and fries, plus a shake.  He really liked it a lot.  He let me have the last bite to try.  I didn’t order anything because I was so full from eating with Maddy.  Then Bill and I went to Jack’s so I could pick up what I need for lunch with the girls tomorrow.  We headed home after that.  It was raining out and damp and was getting windy out.  It was good to be home sweet home.

Melissa called me and Hailey got another Jury duty summons.  She couldn’t do the last one because it would affect her college grades.  Now they are asking her for the day she flies back from Colorado on their family trip.  Sure am praying they let her start the next day.

We relaxed the rest of the night and I worked on my blog.  We had orange jello with mandarin oranges for our snack.
