We loved being able to be there for our Eli

Bill got up early and got ready to go to the Men's Breakfast at church.  I got up before he left and he helped me make the bed.   We said goodbye and I ate my breakfast.   I noticed there was a big brown circle in the carpet where the coffee got spilled.  I sprayed it with prespot solution, than shampooed it again. I used paper towels to step on and soak up any water.  There was brown coffee color on the paper towels.  I did the same thing another time and soaked it up again until there was no brown on the paper towels.  I gave it one more go over and it looks good now.  Coffee stains are tough to get out.

I put some worship music on and enjoyed worshipping.  I walked a mile on the treadmill at a good pace, then I went upstairs and did my hair.  Bill got home and we read our Bibles and did our prayer books/devotions.

I made egg salad and we had egg salad sandwiches for lunch.  Then we got ready and went to Eli's Music Festival at 1:55.  We saw Kimmy and Jared right as we got in the door, so went and stood by them.  When it was time, we went into the auditorium and listened to their Symphonic Band play 3 songs that were just amazing.  They got a standing ovation.  I wish I could have videoed but it wasn't allowed.  Next we went to the room where they sight read.  They got 5 minutes to look at the music and have Mr. Shepherd quickly go over a song they had never seen.  Then they had to play it after that.  Once again, they did amazing.  The judge that spoke to them was very impressed and had great things to say, plus some encouragement to help them do even better in a couple of areas.  After that, we went to the cafeteria and saw Eli.  Kimmy gave him the 2 burgers they had picked up for him and a drink.  He had a sleepover with friends last night and didn't get much sleep nor did he eat this morning.  We looked at the chart to see how schools were doing that had already gotten their marks.  Bill got a popcorn, I got a candy bar and we shared a pop.  We shared the popcorn with Kimmy and Jared.  We waited for Eli's school's numbers to be posted.  They received all 1's which are the best!  We were so happy for them.  Well deserved marks for sure.

On our way home, Bill stopped and filled up the jeep with gas.  His Sam's card didn't work, so he tried mine.  It wouldn't work either.  We went in the store and got four things we needed.  We saw Kenny and Kitty and also Justin and Brenda and visited for a little bit.  Our card wouldn't work in the store either, so we went to the Memberhip Dept. and Bill ended up having to talk to the bank for the account.  Someone hacked into our card and made purchases in California.  We had to close out our cards and they are sending new ones.  People's dishonosty sure cause problems.  It took a long time to get if taken care of.  Law and order are needed everywhere.

We got home and I warmed up the chicken noodle casserole and we ate that for dinner.  Then we relaxed for a while and I really relaxed and fell sound asleep for about an hour and a half.  I talked to Laicey for a while, then Melissa called me and I talked to her and Evan for a while.  They ended up going up to Tawas today and took the dogs.  They had a fun day except Melissa and Evan got cold and had to sit in the vehicle for a little while.  It's always colder by the water.  They had a fun time though.

Vikki sent me some pictures of Peyton at the party.  She had a great time and the pictures are cute.  I'm so thankful she has such great friends.
