I’m not able to post pictures right now. I need to get help from Rody or Jared and Kimmy
We got ready and went to the early service. It snowed out last night, so our road was a little slippery. Bill left 5 minutes before me. I drove separate because I am only staying for the first service. I need to come home and get stuff ready for CMA National Day of Prayer today and for Kody’s birthday party after. I got to church and walked up the aisle to find Bill’s Bible so I would know where to sit. I didn’t see it, so walked back towards the back of the church. A young couple started waving at me and pointing to where Bill’s Bible was. I have talked to them a few times and they are always so nice. It was sweet of them to show me where my seat is. I set my stuff down and walked up front to worship at the altar with Bill. He asked me if I sat by Rody. I hadn’t even seen Rody.
Worship was awesome and the young girl singing has such an amazing voice and did great at leading us in worship. I told her afterward how the Holy Spirit moved through her during worship. When we went back to our seats, there was Rody sitting right next to me (I don’t know how I missed him the first time, then Cathy, Tim, Brittany, Nolan and the kids were all down our row past Rody. I was so happy to see them all. Pastor gave us time to greet people, so I got to give Rody a hug then and say hi to everyone else in our row. I couldn’t get by them to hug them.
We had 11 baptisms, 13 people became members and 2 babies were dedicated. It was an amazing service. Pastor talked about Jesus and how we need him. We went up to pray after service and lots of people came up for prayer. We prayed for Scott and he accepted Jesus in his heart and prayed with us. It was awesome! Bill put his number in his phone and is going to call him.
I talked to Cathy, Tim and Brittany after service was over. I was able to pray for Cathy. We prayed for a miracle healing of her of Parkinson's. I also told her to look at her calendar and let me know when I can come over to visit, and that I could do whatever she wanted me to do to help out.
I talked to Maria R. when I got my coat. She was just coming to the next servicer. She told me we would have to get together and go out for coffee. I’m looking forward to that. She is the leader of my Bible study group and is so nice.
I came home and ate, then read my Bible. I fed my fish in the basement and the bubbler wasn’t connected. I reconnected it and the fish were happy again.
Bill came home and we relaxed for a while, then left at 1:30 to head to Bay City for National Day of Prayer at City Hall. There were 26 who came to pray today. We sang a hymn, then those who had signed up to pray, prayed when it was their turn on the sheet. Elaine did a great job setting everything up. Bill and I were on the first prayer page, so we prayed while at City Hall. She had just written Ukraine, so I told her I had put them all together but could separate them, so I only prayed for Ukraine. When everyone got done praying there, we went to a church next and prayed there. While riding there, I saw that only Ukraine was listed, so when we got to the church, I told Elaine I would pray for Russia, China, Korea and South America. I thought she had separated them. I prayed first, after we sang, a couple songs. Bill and I had to leave to go to Kody’s 13th birthday party. We saw that someone delivered Kody’s present. We stopped and I put them in a gift bag I had all ready by the door. One still wasn’t delivered, so I will have to give it to him when it comes. We gave Kody a big birthday hug and told him Happy Birthday when we got there. We got there a half hour late, but they waited for us to get there to have the ice cream cake. Kody picked having cake first and opening presents second. He liked all of his gifts.
Bill packed up a donkey game and took it to give to Stacie. Bill, Stacie, a sister in law of hers whose name is Stacey and I played the game so we could teach them how. They really liked the game. Of course, I was the loser so everyone else loved that game lol. Everyone there was really nice. We left after that (we were the last ones to leave) and stopped at Culver’s on our way home. I got a roast beef sandwich and water and Bill got a hamburger, fries and a small pop. It tasted so good. It only came to $12 with his military discount.
We came home and Bill did his Bible reading. I FaceTime videoed with Laicey for a while, then worked on my blog. I also called Marie to see how her MRI went. It was uncomfortable, but the person doing it was really experienced and knew how to do it easier so Marie could tolerate it. We ended up talking for over an hour. We always laugh when we see how long we talk after we’re done.
