Cute little wind chime....it’s only hanging here temporarily.
I got up early to spend time with the Lord and played a video Vikki sent me of the Lord’s Prayer prayed in an awesome way. It is amazing how much is covered in this simple prayer that isn’t to be a repetitive prayer, but is to show us the manner in which to pray. This person broke it down and prayed so many different things first of all about God being our Father. Then Hallowed be His Name...a time of awesome worship telling God how worthy and how holy He is plus so much more. He prayed into every part of it and it was just amazing. It took an hour to pray along. I am so thankful Vikki sent it to me. I went back to bed for 20 minutes after that. Then I got ready to go meet my friend. I put my eye drops in, then left to go stop at Hallmark on the way to get a nice birthday card. I thought I had one in my card box, but didn’t have a nice one like I wanted. We had planned to meet around 12-12:30, but she messaged me and asked if I could meet her at 11:35 because she was going to be early. I quickly got the card, then headed to Frankenmuth. I was about 7 minutes later than her, but she was sitting in a nice comfy chair inside. We had a really nice waitress who did a great job serving. Vikki asked her right away if she could take our picture. I was glad because I have been forgetting to take pictures and my Vikki had told me to be sure I didn’t forget. We had such a nice visit and took our time eating and enjoying each other's company. We finished our meal, then packed food up to take home. Then our waitress took our dessert order. While we waited for it to come, we opened our birthday gifts. We loved what we got because we each made a list out. We didn’t know what we were getting off the list until today though. We have been celebrating many birthdays together. The waitress brought our hot caramel sundaes out to us and we ate them even though we were plenty full. Then we walked downstairs to the gift shop. We saw such beautiful things. They had all their new spring things out for outside and had so many cute and unique things. Vikki bought a pair of earrings, because the ones she was wearing this morning were too heavy. She stopped at her son’s house and visited for a little while on the way here, and took those ones off and left them for her granddaughter Ava. She put the new ones in right away.
We both headed home after that. She texted me on the way that she was stopping at a mall on the way to take a break. It was about an hour later that I heard she was home. I brought leftovers to Bill so he had some for dinner. He fixed the front door (although he looked it up and that door needs two springs on it so he has to get one more) and he also got the parts to hang the one side of the closet door that fell down. He was busy while I was away.
We read our Bibles, did our prayer books/devotions and then relaxed and I listened to worship and messages.
